I just posted "For the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” So for you I will dive in a bit here. So read the scriptures.. and just believe what He said not what you see not how you feel only what He said.. faith will come :)

He said there is none righteous no not one. Righteousness does not come by doing good deeds righteousness comes because you believe in Jesus Christ. Yeah .. the Father sees you through what Christ did not what do. Ever read about David? A man after Gods own heart? From the start the more you read the more you ask your self.. was God blind? :)

You life in Christ is not based on this one moment. I surrender all, All to Jesus I surrender all the thee I freely give. "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."

"For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.”

“Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”

"Who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised when we were declared righteous.”

"For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one…even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteousness.”

"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference” (v.22). “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood"

"“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness"

Sorry but what kind of insane aunt is that? Maybe she has the spirit of Jezebel. Let her shut up already.

It's not so weird that you're angry, the way your family treats you. You're just angry at the wrong Person. God only wants to help you, but He does need people to work through. Your horrible aunt should help you with money.

A preacher once said to me that I had to give the anger to God when it came up. You need to listen to good preachings. I've been through bad stuff and I backslid, I was very angry and full of hate but at people, not God. I knew it's never God's fault. I had to forgive them and get rid of the anger, but you have to realize that it's not God's fault.

You're right. I think my anger is misdirected.

Also I finally have my medication. I'm very hesitant and scared to take it. I'm hoping they'll stop the intrusive thoughts and not make things worse.

I am so scared. Please keep me in your prayers. I'm afraid of side effects and having an outburst at work and being embarrassed.

Have you memorized any Scripture verses (God's promises to us) during your life as a believer?   And have you learned to use the Scripture to help you?

I was taught in the early 1970s to memorize Scripture and use the Scriptures if troubled, etc.

Try reading Ephesians, chapter 6 right now....how to put on the armor of God.   The Scripture can help your mind if you learn to trust in God's promises.

Try thinking (meditating) upon some Scriptures when your mind is being assailed.   You can't think on two things at once...so learn to think upon God's Word instead of your troubling thoughts.

My heart posture is so bad.  I feel I'm just destined for hell. I wish I was never saved.

We have to recognize that we're in a spiritual battle 24/7. Our destiny as children of God is so very bright, but here today on terra firma, we have challenges and tribulations . . . and an enemy.  This enemy seeks to "steal, kill and destroy" us any way they can.  The enemy temps us into all kinds of discouraging feelings - despair, anger and condemnation, plus feelings of unworthiness and that God does not love us at all.

But we are loved greatly by Him and we can take that "to the bank!"  And we are worthy only because of the blood of Christ, shed for us!  When we became identified with Him, we exchanged our filthy rag/self-righteousness, for Christ's perfect righteous, which He died to give us . . . now that's something!!!  We just need to claim and lay hold.

So boldly tell the enemy to take a hike into the lake of fire (as another pointed out, "God has given you a spirit of power & of love & a sound mind") - tell him out loud that you are covered fully in the blood of Jesus and that God loves you as much as He loves Christ (because Christ died in your place & He lives in you). Latch onto some encouraging verses about who you are in Christ and declare them boldly, and the enemy will be convinced to flee.

One final thing - someone once told me that all discouragement comes from the enemy and all encouragement comes from God, and I believe this is true.  If we are feeling discouraged (BTW - they are just feelings),  it's a good sign that the enemy is lying to us.  (even when we think he's telling us things that seem true, he's lying somehow)

"The Lord is with your spirit; grace is with you!"  2 Tim 4:22

Of course you're too weak for Christianity.  Every single one of us is.  Even Jesus' disciples were.  Only being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers us to be Christian.  We have to really WANT it, pray for it, and seek Him.

Some people are stronger. Like I said some cling to God. I seem to get angry at God. I wish I didn't. I wish I was like everyone else.

Hardly "Everyone else", I've seen plenty others get mad at God.  But if you're getting angry with God, that is the spirit of the devil.  Resist him and he will flee from you.  Remember that anything bad happening in your life ultimately came from him, not God.  If you're going to get mad, at least try getting mad at the one actually responsible.

Right, get mad at the devil not God.

Do you read the Bible?   Even reading short portions at a time will help your mind and spirit.

Did you ever read Ephesians chapter 6 like I suggested before?   You need to contemplate on how to put on the armor of God as stated in Ephesians chapter 6.

Oh I have gotten mad at God at times and I'm quite sure there are more cause I saw an article about it from a christian ministry.

I once got a word from God from a preacher. He said: I am not susceptible for accusations and lies that are brought in by the devil against My beloved. I declare you free in My love. If you get rebellious and angry give it to Me. Sometimes you feel like a slave of the circumstances. Give it to Me because I am a God who can reign in every circumstance.

I once was very mad at God and accused Him of not caring about the lost. I had been talking a bit too much to angry atheists. Seriously? Accuse God? How dumb. He said: I care. How about you?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
