 A few weeks ago, Trump was being interviewed by Laura Ingrahm.

She said, "Do you believe in Heaven?"

He said, "Yes!  And if I am good I will go there.  And if I am bad, I'll go to the other place."

I want the man to go to Heaven, but I don't think he gets it right now.  I think he knows about Jesus and believes he is real and that the afterlife is real.  His spiritual mentor was Norman Vincent Peale, a "pastor" who preach the power of positive thinking.

How can his faith deepen, if his faith is not in Jesus Christ.

Here is an excerpt from  an interview he had in 2016 about what he believes in terms of repentance and forgiveness.  Granted, this was 8  years ago, but coupled with what he said three weeks ago with Laura Ingrahm, I just don't believe he truly gets it.

There's been too much influence from the false teacher, Dr. Peale.     

This is why he is and will be on my prayer list.  When I  pray for him, I  pray for him to come to know Christ as the Bible teaches and that he will humble himself before God.

Trump now has pastors like Franklin Graham and other evangelicals helping and praying with him.

Trump mentioned his dad taking him to Billy Graham crusades when he was a child.

We can pray for his understanding to be opened more about the Lord.

I have been reading this thread and not commenting much. 

One thing stands out though. The criticism of trump as a Christian. I remember what I was like in my first few years as a Christian and it was not pretty. A lot of worldly ways still. How many of you, getting saved in adult years, was a stellar Christian? How many of you at any age were meat Christians and not stumbling in milk  in the first few years you were saved?

Regardless, I am voting my conscience and trusting in the Lord for this promise....

For good or bad, He will let the election go the way He wants it to, even if the result is not what I want. I suspect my choice will not win the election.

Yes, there are some time-line videos out there that counter the official narrative.  That's the good thing about having a million video cameras rolling.  They just can't hide certain oddities. 

You might have heard of Ray Comfort, the evangelist.  Atheist have some video of him talking about a banana, and he is talking about God's design of it, but he looks like a moron speaking about it.  He is not moron and that was not the real video. The video was an example of an editing hit job designed to make Ray look silly. 

You can do a lot with video editing to make a situation look like anything you want it to look like, and that is what the J6 Committee and the news outlets did to Trump concerning J6.  And thugs like ANTIFA, and BLM generally just show up some place wearing the same shirts as protesters, and cause problems, then head down an alley and peel off the shirt and let police beat up the gentle protesters because they think they saw them committing violence or vandalism.  It's a type of false flag, and some people are too gullible to notice it or look at counter video.

Some forget that the Democrats are ANTIFA and BLM, and that they have wrecked every city they 'occupied' or protested in while the MAGAs have had hundreds of rallies, and no violence and they even pickup their own trash.  Some are blinded by their hatred of Trump.

Hi, My own criticism of The Donald is  of him as a man  that has shown through decades of his dealings, antics, and to this day his talk, that he is a man I would not trust around my  daughter, nor my wallet. As to being dramatically changed when first becoming  a saved by Grace alone and turned about by  the Holy Spirit  born again believer. You Bet! A sudden and radicle change. Yes it sure was!

Ha just remembered the excitement of a few decades ago now with the very funny man Glenn Beck.  I attended his Rally for America way back when.  All the church ladies loved him and the guys thought him to be a very humorous Christian.

Well it turned out He worships a different Jesus. He is a member of the Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ; believing that  Jesus  is Satan's brother and that  one earns their way to  become  gods on their own planets  to raise spirit children with the Morman girl that  was saved by bearing his children and  will continue to  do so on their own  family planet as they are little god's .

But he said just barely enough of the right things to tickle the ears and had many thinking God must be using him to lead us to good things.

Hate him? Nah, he is indeed a humorous guy, just lost. He didn't so much deceive  anyone at all, as it was individuals wanted so desperately to hear what they thought he was saying instead of seeing and hearing what he was actually doing and saying. They encouraged themselves into  believing he must be, just has to be,  a brother in Christ Jesus.

Yes, Debp, we all know that.  But do you understand that his false teachings live on and on and on.  His books are still in book stores.

And Franklin Graham?  Did you listen to Trump's acceptance speech at the RNC?  He said that Franklin had counseled him to stop using horrible language and then he laughed and said that he didn't know about that.

Donald Trump's "spiritual advisor" during his first term was Paula White.  She gave the invocation at his inauguration and he put her ON HIS STAFF as an official member in terms of some kind of faith initiative.  This woman is about as whack-a-doodle as they come!  She makes Norman Vincent Peale look like the Apostle Paul.  I fear that many people will go to hell because of this woman, her pastorate, and her false, false teachings.  She is part of the "health and wealth" crowd.  And that's just the beginning of it.

I'm not going to speak about him anymore here at Worthy.  All I do is make people mad and uncomfortable.  And I, for some reason, cannot get anyone to understand that this man needs great prayer to be saved and that, while he is capable of change, he is NOT a man of decency that the office of President needs even though I am voting for him and I feel he will go in.

I do not understand why people excuse him nor why I do not seem to be able to make a dent in the understanding of how SICK our nation is and how we are under the judgment of God RIGHT NOW and have been for YEARS no matter who goes into office in January.

I will leave with this.  I am voting for him.  I am praying for him to be under the influence of TRUE and Godly and mature Christians.

Hi, Funny ( interesting) how several  individuals say in defense of The Donald "we are not voting  for the national pastor, we are voting for President", and then turn around and try to tout Trump's Christianity, how He is God's chosen, and anointed of the right ear. Amazes me!

I read Norman Vincent Peale back when I was 17 and my coworkers were trying to sell me on the miracle of being a Latter Day Saint of Jesus Christ with all my needs to be met. All the while right down the road  Peale's student Robert H. Schuller was promoting the "Possibly Thinker's Bible" of  which I still have a copy, and then his grand Crystal Cathedral which  is now a Orange County Ca. Roman Catholic diocese enterprise.
