Miss M:  Yes, but in the days of George Washington and Ben Franklin were very

different times than today. What do you think the people from George Washington or Benjamin Franklin's day would do with a man like Trump?

Aye Matey, they'd give him a ship, a sword, a black eye patch, and chest of doubloons.  Arrr!

Agreed.... even on Worthy you can see the hatred, bitterness and contempt, its blaringly obvious!

Don't you often find the ones shouting " peace,,equal rights, love, non discrimmination, women's rights ,everybody's rights ,lol Except of course the right to vote and the right to support President Elect Donald Trump!

If Harris would've won( God Forbid) they'd all be cheering in the streets( of Califirnia? Or one of those Blue States?)

I personally have a flicker of hope for the future of America and cheer for Trump being elected- I don't think he can do much or will do much for the Kingdom of God,that's probably not his Assignment or Purpose but one never does Know the Mysterious Ways of the Almighty

There's nothing wrong with praising someone for doing well- as Christians we can praise people for their efforts and give God ALL the Glory

( oh,not lip service " Christians" ,I mean those who are Alive in Christ)

Hi Kwikphilly. Yeah.. I'm not possessed but it does make my head spin hearing all this stuff Haha. The people that hated Trump since 2016 are still there in Washington so yeah gonna be hard. I've heard some that have watched and been part of elections say the 2nd term is always allot harder.

Here.. I don't know how many understand when God is about to or doing something in your life or your standing in faith the enemy comes at you so hard.  In the word two men got up .. hey some of our animals are missing lets go look for them. Then GOD told the prophet I believe "I am sending you two......".  Just reading that they had no clue what so ever that .. GOD did all that.

There is something with Trump.. as in GOD because what he has been through and his family. You know you've seen the lord more so many times and .. you just know its Him. Trump is part of a world I know nothing about.. then Washington. Will Trump listen.. I don't know. Praises I've seen and heard him say "only by GOD" giving GOD the glory.

Yes I agree to thank him for what he has done been through and still wants to help America? As his son said just the other day "he does not need to do all this" he loves this nation.  Those kind of people are far and few. God about to Judge a nation looked for one from among them to build a wall to stand in the gap but found none. So.. praying for him and all those there.. to uproot those that are evil and put believes in their place yes..

I don't snd never will understand when anyone doesn't like or agree they pull the " Christian " card or drag God into what He Really Has nothing to do with

When carnal minded men of thd world idolize anyone they worship as a god that has nothing to do with Born Again Childrdn of God celebrating a man's achievements and being Joyful hoping their success for the best interest of our fellow man.....

No Believer is glorifying President Trump or equating him to OUR King of kings,Lord of lords..what the world does is what the world does and " forgive THEM" as they know not what they do

When I hear my Brethren accused or compared to unbelievers by saying- "Christians worship and praise people who do not deserve what God Deserves " it is very troubling to me,troubling when it comes from anyone claiming to also be a Christian....

I've not heard anyone compare President Trump to Jesus- could be some very disillusioned person might have,I don't know of any so I have no idea why it would be mentioned at all

It's even more troubling when I hear anyone say things that are simply a false witness- calling the President a Convicted Felon ,that, without doubt it a violation of the ToS here at WCF

I don't see much purpose for this Thread except to slander our President

Peace to all....celebrate and be joyous for our HOPE Remains in Christ

With love in Christ,Kwik

God is indeed sovereign! If the declaration within the Bible is intended  be taken literally (As it is transliterated into English) then all leaders, all leaders. all leaders,  without exception, are appointed by Him. Which is a hard reality to accept when thinking of the kinds of cruelty humans in leadership do to other humans and creatures.

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.  For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.  Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.  For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.  Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." -credit Bible Gateway NKJV  excerpt from  Romans

..."worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.".

I suggest that all, Christians especially, need be careful in promotion of the doings of men and wo-men lest anyone be led astray into "worshipping" a creature.

For God is a jealous God.

Now if Trump the man wants to be really cool he will announce a serious effort to  get everyone in the USA under what is now medicare for only those having obtained a certain age.

Maybe he can get that done on the second day.

I think that is fair - though I'm not sure that is contested.

I don't see this typically happening with Christians and Trump. An extraordinary achievement justifies an exuberant celebration by Trump's supporters.

I agree that it can go too far - but it is hard to make that distinction amidst the valid celebration of victory.

I think this claim betrays bias. I say that because, when you look into the charges, you find that they relate to clerical errors that have only ever previously amounted to mild misdemeanors. The prosecutors and judge (with known, and publicly stated, conflicts of interest) permitted supposed "new legal theory" to fudge the charges into felony charges.

Therefore, in the opinion of many, the truly terrifying crime committed here is the intentional and self-evident misuse of judicial power to go after a political opponent. And the felony charges are therefore logically and legally invalid.

Similar things could be said of many of us prior to our encounters with Christ. I'm not aware of any claim of Trump to Christianity (I have only heard Trump acknowledge "god"). He is a corrupted human - like the rest of us - except growing up in privilege and therefore lacking some of the filters that bind the rest of us to more congenial behaviors.

Trump did something special - and so a degree of "praise" is due. But certainly not "worship".

The Bible tells us that this is the path we are on.

I personally think Trump's election will somewhat slow our progress down that path (by comparison to having Democrats in power). But only temporarily.

We will find out. Either way, our King remains on His throne.

I'm not going to comment on her personally, but as a presidential candidate, she was appalling. They (the Democrats) thought that, because they had the media and celebrity class on their side, they could pass off any malleable candidate and still get elected. Thankfully, it appears those days are over.

Well said @Tristen

Though I believed it would be a travesty if Harris were somehow elected Im not going to attack her character and a lot of flaws to choose from imo but for what, she did a fine job of of looking bad all by her self and America responded accordingly

I completely agree that with Trump in office it may help to slow down what's in store for the future, perhaps it all part of our Merciful and Sovereign God Almighty's Long Suffering and Patience that Has Gone on for all time, from the beginning

In any event - Hallelujah, yes He is Still on the Throne and we have nothing to fear for Jesus Has Prepared us a Place with Him for Eternity....in our Father's House❤️🙏

Thanks for a beautifully written comment

Oh my from a leftist source, a "real leftist"- wish my fellow righties would take note: A little something from "commie Bernie"

..."Meanwhile, the United States spends far more on health care than any other nation. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, we spend nearly $13,000 per capita on health care. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom spends just $5,387, Canada spends $5,905, France spends $6,115 and Germany spends $7,382 per capita on health care while providing universal care to everyone. Despite this huge expenditure, our life expectancy is lower than most other industrialized countries and our infant mortality rates and maternal mortality rates are much higher."...

Brother- Beloved Brother

Some times I'm very confused by the things you say, especially when it comes to President Elect Donald Trump- you posts seem to convey alot of contempt for the person and claims that are rather speculative..... Not much different that MsMuffit touting ' convicted felon ' imo

Again,no one here or any Christians I know or heard are worshipping any man or not Giving God Glory....I was raised in NYC and my skin in too think to let any of Trump's obnoxious or brass tacks talk ruffle my feathers - he's been targeted by more groups, politicians and opposing forces and bow tows to no man and that's what I like about him....but I didn't vote for him based on his personality or what gossip is around town,I like his policies and strategies and most of all I believe he cares about America same as I do

Actually Obama should been charged, convicted and found guilty of treason but no mention of that anywhere and it continued on.....

I don't believe a man in Trump's position " needs" to do anything at all,he'd be sitting pretty without a care in the world in his position( outside the political arena)

Love you Brother, Sis

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
