Blessings & Greetings

I watched a wonderful documentary Titled the same as this Thread. There's do much talk here on pre, mid, post trib and imo misses the mark- so many Christians are always focusing on " when" they completely miss the entire point that is definitive JESUS- always asking the wrong question when the question every Christian should be preaching is WHY Jesus Must Return--

Date setters irreversibly damagimg the Faith, there is always heated debate over " when" with so  much dividion, controversy and conflict with the church thst the world sees as hypocrisy - Christians cannot answer " when" to the unbeliever and should be reminded of whst everyone seems to have forgotten

The world has forgotten thst Prophecy Proves God is God and if it didn't then the Bible is no more relevant or Divine as any other book.... there is no Eviddnce being taught and that is why there will be a Great Falling Asay, the trend has already began

While 73% of the Bible is Prophecy related only 2% teaches that- the Rapture is a Fundamental Belief- so why all the confusion- the Galileans (Apotles)understood perfectly what Jesus was Telling them in parables .Two thirds of the Gospel was Written in Galilee -so to understand what is Written one must understand the culture and traditions that was very exclusive to this little strip of land back in 30AD

Back in 30AD North Israel was under Roman rule.Everything begins at a wedding in Cana.Such an important event- people from all walks of life lived in Galilee,,fisherman, tax collectors, buyers, sellers, craftsmen etc When a Betrothal was announced everyone, all the towns people rushed to the Gate of the city

Why,you might ask? Because a Covenant is ratified by witnesses-the bride and groom are going to agree to the terms set forth - after the agreement gifts are given to the bride- a sort of dowry but not to buy the bride or compensate the parents of the bride- no,,this was an insurance policy for the bride herself.... and here's the order of events

The groom has a pitcher of wine,he pours out a cup( Cup of Joy) and offers to pass it to the bride- at this point the bride has the power in her hands to accept or reject the offer,if she willingly accepts this proposal from the groom she then takes the Cup of Joy and drinks from it,passes it back to the groom and he drinks from it- this solidifies their unbreakable union, the agreement

This is profound !Just as Jesus Says to His Disciples" This is the Last time I'll drink from this cup UNTIL in my Father's House"- this is the New Covenant Promise

You see ,it did sound strange or odd to a Galilean when Jesus Said it at the Last Supper because all they heard was " WEDDING"

Remember Jesus turned the water onto wine at a wedding in Cana? Weddings were probably the most important event to take part in for a Galilean -a grand celebration for all who came at the invitation after the announcement

After the Betrothal, terms agreement, gift giving and solidified union witnessed by many the bride and groom will life apart until the actual Wedding- which is a 7 day Feast, about a year later.... bit you see,no one knows the the day or the hour!!!Here is why

The groom must leave,he must go to his father's house to build a room where he & his bride will live- he has much work to do before he returns for his bride.

It is of the utmost importance thst Jesus ,at the Last Supper,Tells His Disciples He must leave and they understood completely when He Saud:' I Go and Prepare a Place for you in My Father's House " any Galilean would Know that is a PROMISE that He MUST Return for them - the verbal promise the groom makes, the terms of agreement becsuse of the Culture

If you cut out the culture you gut the meaning- it has been lost in today's culture

So spreading the Gospel Message and leaving out the WHY Jesus WILL Return for His Bride is part of the reason for Apostasy 85% of Christiand disagree with these core beliefs regarding a Rapture .... no sense of urgency that thd Bride be Prepared as she waits

People believe in aliens, ufos, psychics, ghosts yet they don't believe in a Rapture - only 1 out of 4 Americans Believe Christ Will Return in their lifetime, only a Remnant is hanging on to the Hope in Christ yet there is Eviddncd in every Bible Story

An acient Galiliean would never be surprised in the middle of the night when the Shofar blasts in the Last Days the theif in the night will be for the unbelievers who were not expecting the Grooms Return, not His Bride. And He Will Return in the middle in the night

The Bride has much to do while the Groom is away- she must prepare for not only His Return but for the feast of 7 days- she must make an elaborate wedding gown( white linen) and have the wine, foods everything ready- it would sometimes take months to acquire all these things- and after she had the wedding gown she would sleep in it with her brides maids ready as well

The Groom sleeps with the groomsmen as the time nears - still ,even He does not know the day or the hour until he has finished preparing the place in his father's house and the Father says "Go now,get your bride"   WOW!

The shofar sounds, the excited town makes a concession- they all join to go to the brides house--- they get there and by no effort on her part she is lifted into the air( flying to the father's housd).... she is carried off,she does not walk- cultural practice

Then at the Father's house they will have the Wedding Feast- interestingly everyone pours in to the house and the door is shut behind them,no one can enter after the doors are closed to the outside and no one can leave for the 7 days

So you see, those that were ready ,got in!If you were locked out you were too late

So the question of when is irrelevdnt, the Answer to WHY God Sends His Son and Brings her UP to Him,caught up in the air.... is how Jesus Saves His Bride from the Wrath to Come...

Understanding the Galilean culture is to understand the urgency of being ready and prepared for the Grooms Return  and back to the Cup of Joy for those who Hear, will you Accept the Offer or reject it?

With love in Christ,Kwik

@kwikphilly Thanks for the 'like'. Really good indeed to keep 'always abounding in the work of the Lord' (1 Corinthians 15.58) rather than getting stuck in legalistic blind-alleys, - as so many do...........

Greetings @kwikphilly...

I can see you drawing a parallel...I get what you are saying and doing...and it can be an effective way of teaching.

You post..."While 73% of the Bible is Prophecy related only 2% teaches that- the Rapture is a Fundamental Belief- so why all the confusion-" I find it difficult to grasp what you're trying to say here?

Additionally, any "Spirit uttered...God breathed Word or Scripture"...is prophetic intrinsically. It however...is not culturally based as you seem to be suggesting. It is based in the eternal mind of God...thus its immutability over the millennia.

Tatwo...:)

Culturally based is not the point

In order to Understand the Scriptures we must study context- always considering the time, the place, the audience, the cultures and traditions of the Ancients.... however,,you can study the Bjble however you choose

I'm not drawing parallels and as I explained,I watched a wonderful Documentary (the Title) you can look it up yourself and watch it I suppose - this is what the film was about

If share Jesus Words to His Disciples He Spoke  at the Last Supper with people of our times it would be difficult to understand what He meant in comparison to the Ancient Galileans....I thought it would be good to share, especially in a society that hasn't much regard for tradition or regard for the Marraige Covenant

Or any covenants for that matter

Be Blessed

@kwikphilly Hi.

I only read your OP cursorily, but you made a great point. Christians are mostly saying and asking "WHEN" when it's an event that our Lord says ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS - not even the Son. And then they go an bang heads together over the date. Sometimes you gotta shake your head at us Christians. (Yeah .... I know we have love each other ... ).

Thanks ,I agree and it's a terrible look when there's such arguing over " when"- when in fact it's the most irrelevant and insignificant thing

I never knew that the groom going to the fathers house for an unspecified time, that only the father would determine was commonplace in Ancient Galilean culture- I really did not and was quite excited to find out WHY GOD the SON said such a thing " No one Knows ,not even the Son" .... I often wondered how could that be- whether Jesus Knew or not is not even important anynore- He Was Speaking to His Disciples so they'd Understand, what they were familiar with- like " Fishers of men",they Understood perfectly being fisherman, lol

I enjoyed it myself❤️

Dear kwik,

Jesus came to Israel and that is who is the bride. Many scriptures in the Old Testament tell us this. I notice you only refer to the Gospels but not to when Jesus ascended to the Father and began the Body of Christ and gave them their future.

When Jesus was on earth He did not know the time of His coming - to Israel. However, now He is at the right hand of the Father He knows ALL things - when He will come for Israel and also when He will come for us, His Body.

The `when` of the Body being caught away is when the Lord by His Holy Spirit has brought us to the `unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.` (Eph. 4: 13)

The `why` of the Body being caught away is because we will go to the Lord`s own throne to rule and reign with Him. (Rev. 3: 21) We will be there at His coronation and cast our crowns before Him. What a wondrous time that will be. (Rev. 4: 1 - 4)

Great error comes to those who do not recognize God`s purposes for - the Body of Christ, for Israel and for the Nations.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
