Hi @Tristen Thanks for the 'like'; it's easy to talk about trust but the vital reality is a work of God's grace (i.e., to borrow from the Apostle John, 'not in word only, but in deed and in truth').

Love that verse!  Along with one something like it: "He will be our guide, even unto death." (Psalm 48:14)  There's only One we can say that about!

Another great verse there, indeed........

Hi,Having read several of your posts over time and in reading this one I see also many  helping and encouraging responses

Might I add for your consideration? Sit down  in comfort and read, read the Book of Job, read it as you might read a novel, seeing the characters, feeling their surrounds. Get into the story  just as you might an interesting tale.

Then note the strong angry dissertation  by Job  in chapter three. Job too railed in anger even as he had stood his ground giving thanks to God. He had a hard battle to wage yet God saw Him through it. God will see you through too.

God is faithful! Hang on, hang on to the hope certain that is our Lord and savior Jesus.

One thing I can say is that I've never expressed my anger outwardly. I hope I don't get to that point.

Hi, if you are stating you have never expressed you anger outwardly to God, might you reconsider as He knows already anyway? Have a real sit down with God.

May God bless.

When I was working I used to have what I called a "lunch date with God". I

would sit alone and pray all the way through my lunch time.

Sometimes I wonder if I should give up being a christian. I've been saved and baptized twice but I see no fruit in my own life..

I've come to a place where I feel weird towards God. I don't trust him at all, I have alot of anger towards him and I genuinely don't want to surrender completely mainly bc I see an example being my brother who's brainwashed and has nothing.

Idk what to do.

I really don't know how to trust God

Idk I wish I were full of faith but I'm not.

I just know my situation isn't ideal-- I just feel like a pot of destruction..

I think maybe I should take a hiatus.

Hi Figure!

I don't know what you are going through, but I can relate to how you feel.

I've been a Christian all my life, but yet I still struggle with feeling confident in hearing God's voice, and that's strained my walk with Him. Then I went through the most heart-breaking experience I could ever imagine, and I cry out to God day and night what I did to deserve the Esau treatment.

My roots are too deep to wither from this draught, but in many ways I feel like my faith is hanging on by my fingernails.

Anyway, I don't have any brilliant  words or suggestions. Just letting you know that you aren't sitting in the mud alone, so to speak. (Virtual hug.)

@Figure of eighty

@nebula

Life in this earth may feel like that many time... for most.  There's always seasons of losing and seasons of finding, seasons of doubts & seasons of believing, seasons of happiness and seasons of heartbreaks.    That being said, in all these seasons One thing only one thing that remains constant and unchanging,  That Jesus died on the cross for us and His love will remain the same for us always, He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will not abandon us. Despite of our feelings or angers or doubts towards Him. God has done his part to unite us back to his kingdom, as His children, as a Co-heir with Christ.  Whether we feel like it or not. Yes, it does takes time to be transformed, its different for everybody, it depends on our heart condition and our obedience towards Him and His ways. Jesus did say that we will have tribulations in this world, no matter how we feel during those moments, God knows how you feel and what you are going through. He sees you, in your weakness, in your highs and lows. Closeness to God is should be the ultimate results of all those trials. Bcos He is our refuge in the times of troubles,  He is our Fortress our Hiding place. We dont hide from Him, We Hide in Him. It is not easy, it is very draining at times. But be assured that God is with you during those moments, even when we fail to see sometimes.

God will always be standing at the gate eagerly waiting to embrace the prodigal son.

He will always be there, leaving the ninty nine to get that lost One.

The times will make us all think again.

There are no other worlds to go to, there are no aliens.

Some of Revelation has happened already, it takes place over hundreds of years.

There are no asteroids... some of Revelation has happened already...

More of Revelation will happen and the ideas of aliens and asteroids
will be used to mask and muddy it.

Along with much sorcery, pharmakia, and literal generations worth of brainwashing,
repeatedly being shown things about 'aliens' and 'outer space' (the very first movie was 'a trip to the moon') people at large will believe in what is presented, and be distracted from the truth of the Bible because of it.

But people like us will know what time it really is. And hope in our God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
