We are indeed moving into very interesting times.  Just google "where does the US import its oil from" and you will see Canada by a huge percent.  Canada is the US largest trading partner and this will have effects on both countries.  There will be tit for tat on the tarrifs, meaning Canada will be forced to do the same .   Well, this is what I am understanding from the politics people.

The US has to have a overhaul I agree, but believers must know where their ultimate trust is to be placed.   Idolizing Trump as the savior , is whom the secular world is putting their trust in for security ect., but the saints cannot let their guard down, for the enemy is very clever and gives false promises too, only to enslave.

Ideally though, it is not evil for citizens, and parents wanting a better life for their kids and families.

Hi, It is also a way of nearly bankrupting USA companies that do business internationally.  I am so very thankful to be past any direct need this time around. Thank you LORD!

BTW It will not be possible for many a company that crossed over the border out of the USA to return for reason of EPA regulatory compliance costs that just kill manufacturing in the USA.  They will stay abroad doing business abroad while the USA marketplace lays fallow.

It is said a USA made car for example is some 15,000 loosely assembled parts, all made by the lowest bidder. Once all the parts bidders are from the USA only, those parts prices will go way up, and the cost of a domestically made car will go up  as much as the cost  of a foreign car bearing  tariff taxation.

There is no free lunch.

Hi, I'm not understanding how tariffs keep illegals out. Seems to me that if manufacturing returns to the USA  then the USA will need a larger labor force requiring immigrants to fill the need for some labor. Americans ( In general) aren't going to "labor". Will robotics do all the labor related work?

What I heard on the news is China  has the main ingredient to make fentanyl and it is only in China no other country. Yeah, it would be nice to see the leftists' unnecessary war on fossil fuels ended. I'm all for being more efficient and being good stewards of creation, but there's a balance.

The war on fossil fuels jacks up the cost of energy and transportation - which jacks up the price of everything else by default. You can't have one without the other. What the green energy folks don't get is we need the technology to replace fossil fuels first. There's a lot of that under development but its not ready for general use yet and so this stuff is going to take time. It will not happen overnight.

When the automobile was invented they didn't go out and shoot all the horses and burn the wagons. People switched to the automobile over time because they were available at an affordable price and more efficient by the standards of the day. The change took time and investment in infrastructure also and much of that was private not from the government.
