God-man: Your last post was so awe-inspiring; it blew me away.

I so appreciate your honestly and candidness. I really do.

As far as zeal goes...when I was reading your post about the greedy pastors feeding themselves off their flocks...I was reminded of Jesus' zeal toward His Father's House (*the temple) and His anger against those who made His House into a market place *(Or some versions say, "A den of thieves")

He was infuriated. I don't think it's wrong to express righteous anger. One of the most heinous sins is greed against God's own people by one who's supposed to lead them.

 I have watched TBN for a few years and although, I enjoy many of the programs. I have never thought of the organization as being perfect.

I would never assume that because an organization is christian based that it runs without blemish.

The most disturbing things that I saw in your original post was your statement about the prayer requests...and the wages of TBN employees...sounds despicable.

However, as someone else stated God deals with us all accordingly... if we miss the mark in our daily lives...we get corrected then if what you allege is true...Jan and Paul will be corrected as well.

Another thing that I find even more disturbing is that you say that this organization is corrupt through and through...but some of the most anointed men and women of God support it. Why haven't they picked up on what you have? ...

Can you name some of these "most anointed men and women?"

I was led by God to leave my participation in the corporate traditional churches. Unscriptural tradition, that in no way follows NT patterns written for us to follow in assembly life.

Read 1John2:27.

God WILL lead you in the truth.

A freind of my wife gave her a book written by Juanita Bynum. I happened to pick it up and the first devotional I opened to was about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

She basically teaches that you have the power to grab whatever gift you want. That all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to you, just learn how to grab it.

God says......"Are all Apostles?, are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?...(30)...Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?" 1Cor 12:29-30

And...."But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will"

Looks like two different teachings to me.

Hi God-man,

Thank you for sharing exposing TBN, but it is sooooo very sad that these people are decieving so many people, there are so many preachers involved with this ministry, I used to like John Hagee and watched him alot (5 or more years ago, do you think he is out for the money now too?

And Hal Lindsey and Tim lahey?

I heard things from focus on the family .

But I do believe for sure that Charles Stanley is a true man of God.

I believe this could all lead to more Christian persecution, when people find out that so many preachers are in for the money, they will think that all Christians are the same.

So sad, but dear friend, thanks for sharing!!

It would seem that there are quite a lot of christian people who are always holding up certain preachers and teachers as being annointed. Who has the authority here on earth to say that he or she is annointed? Well, IMO, no-one has. We know thta Saul and David and a few others in the OT were annointed because we have read it in the bible, We know Jesus was, because He said so in the Gospel of Luke chap 4, vvs 18 and 19. Just because some one preaches a good word doesn't mean that he or she has been annointed. I have enjoyed the preaching and teaching of a few good members of this worthy board, but I have never hears of any one of them laying claim to being annointed.

In the last church or two that I used to go to three pastors I have known, said they were annointed and called of God and one of them is now driving a fork lift, one is a full tme undertaker and I dont where the other one got to but he's not around. Some of these afore mentioned blokes annoint themselves I think or maybe at their pastors conventions they all annoint each other. I've had a few prophetic words spoken over me at times, but I wouldn't call myself annointed. Tele evavangelists annointe? HuuH. Annointed with their own self important and self glorifying egos.

Anyway thats MHO. Have a good day in the word......

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
