I would concur with Beau.

I don't like the idea. I haven't been able to get these two promoting the idea to PM me back with their intentions. I don't even know if they are saved? :wub:

I agree with God-man- a youth forum sounds nice but there are too many bad people with bad intentions who will be misusing the forum.

How about making one open topic in this Worthy boards where they can ask all kind of questions? Like "The Teen" section. (that would be easier to controle then a complete new forum.

teen section......hmmmm, dat may work. But either way, it would be nice for them to have their own nice lil spot, but I can see everyone's concern with the dangers of a forum. It's a shame really. It sounds like a great idea, but there ARE bad intentional people out there

There is another thread in the Ladies lounge "kids forum 15 lower" that I posted this in:

Hello girls, I see you are in need of a place to play! I know that you will get a lot of good teaching here but I think that you want others your age to talk to. Here is a great place to go to have fun and be around those your age...now you are always welcome here but I thought you all would enjoy this site... My sixteen year old daughter loves it. Here is the site: Relient K message boards. You can find my daughter there and her screen name is Tabtoot so look for her on there. 

It is a place that my 16 year old goes into and it is monitored quite well. I thought it would be a good place for them to talk with kids their own age. So far she says no one has tried to contact her through that message board so I don't even know if they are following up on the threads they are posting here. But I thought we could lead them to a Christian message board that they would have more in common with the people.

Yod posted in the Ladie's Lounge? I knew it had "accidentally" happened, but I didn't remember who done it. I remember the Yodetta thing! It was about that time a Ronette appeared also, but Ronette posted in the Men's Lounge!

Dr. Luke, I never received a reply to the apology I sent either. Could it be that they aren't aware of how to use the "reply" function on a PM? I doubt it, but I do want to give the benefit of the doubt.

They do seem very tech saavy.

They have no problem navigating our Board. Easily able to set up a poll? HMMM?

I believe "Girls just wanna have fun!"

I have made George aware of their presence and lack of response. I do not desire that they be in the mens lounge nor spamming the board with the same poll.

The welcome mat can be yanked.

I suppose if one can do a poll, they SHOULD be able to hit "reply" on a PM! I wasn't sure what part of "For Men Only" was hard to understand, but I went through the proper channel and PM'd George my concern of the posts in Men's Lounge. The Lounge was a special favor to us men from George, and as with all favors, can be removed if abused and I don't want that, nor does anyone else I would imagine. Frankly, I wish, if possible, that George would block males from Ladie's Lounge and females from Men's Lounge-maybe something he'll want to consider on a future update?

I would have to vote no on a kids only, shoot, it is not hard to make up a name and profile that makes it look like some one is a kid..... some can even talk like a kid, so it would be hard to even monitor it......

the only way i see it would be to have some one "monitoring" all the post, reviewing all the post and such before they was ever posted for reading.....

and who would want that responsibility???? and if something happened???? wow, what a responsibility....

I have no qualms with young people posting, but i think that their profiles should not have anything to say about age...... actually, i think that would be a good thing for all profiles.....

just my opinion...

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose.       Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
