Basically you are asking for more of the Life of Christ.

This is the last thing I will say. Jesus never wasted words. He was precise and to the point. And there was no one who could dispute what He said. The fact is brother you are causing confusion.

Do you understand what maturity is? When you were a baby did you have all of the experiences that life could give you. No you had to continue on in life. Growing in life, desiring more experience in life. How much more so in Christ. We grow in Christ. But how do we grow. Thru the indwelling Spirit which is the very Life of God. You may not think that you seperate the Holy Spirit from the Godhead, but you do. It is as if you worship 3 gods. For real you are not just looking for a needle in a haystack, you are throwing the needle in. The Triune God is One God. Let us just leave it at that.

And yet where is the simplicity of the Gospel if it is also precise and to the point? All this confusion begins when one stops seeking after the face of Jesus to Whom the Holy Spirit is pointing to... and they start preaching another spirit other than the one they had alreday received... thus... the Gospel is no longer simple... now is it? People are saying there is more to the Spirit or whatever and thus no longer precise or to the point as they all are saying diffferent things.

How much wasting of words when people call what they experience of the "Holy Ghost" falling on them again and again by different names or terms? How is that not precise and not to the point? Where is the simplicity in the Gospel when people preach that? So there starts the confusion, huh? So cutting away all this extras will amount to more confusions but only the Lord will grant wisdom in the reading of His words so that those may be delivered from the extras that started the confusion in the first place to finally rest in Jesus and not labour in unbelief.

Thanks for sharing, brother, but again, I leave it to the Lord to cause the increase. If it is confusing, it is because I am dealing with the actual confusion in the first place. People have accepted it without discerning it by His words and thus wisdom from the Lord is needed to return to the simplicity of the Gospel found in Jesus Christ if they are to be delivered out of a habitual routine or practise that has made up their worship and who they are. In which case... the danger would be hearing this:

Luke 13: 27But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Keeping the faith is the good fight. Mayhap down the road, the Lord will show you what He means.

What I also find amazing is your persistance to downplay the Holy Spirit.

The fact is He does point to Christ, but then Christ point so the Father. So should we stop praying to Christ also. This is basically what you are saying. Brother be careful because this is how not only your words but the whole intent of THE WORD can be misread, and misunderstood.

Eph 4:13-16 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the Head, even Christ: From Whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself IN LOVE.

It is written to pray to Jesus and to the Father as well. It is not written for you to pray to the Holy Spirit because praying to spirits is of the world. It is the witness of the Gospel that is being preached and Jesus Christ is that Gospel.

To pray to the Holy Ghost is to downplay Jesus as the only mediator between God and man... so strive ye to enter through that strait gate... and that gate is Jesus. The broad way is the way of the world and that is praying to spirits. Imagine if one was allowed to pray to the Holy Spirit. Can you guarantee when something comes that it is of God? But God cannot protect people if He allowed that which the way the world does it. But what did He say in how you will know the real Holy Spirit.... ?

John 14: 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Do we believe in His words or do we not? Then where is our faith if our words, songs, and practises says otherwise? How can the world come to Jesus if they rather be doing what they are used to doing if they see the believers doing it... praying to the spirits? How can they stop praying to these other spirits if believers are praying to the Holy Spirit? How does one know if it is the Holy Spirit if someobody else prayed for another spirit to come? How does one know if another spirit answered regardless the fact that they were praying to the Holy Spirit anyway?

So you see.... dealing with the confusion is necessary so the simplicity of the Gospel is known again.

Your words here equate the Holy Spirit with just another Spirit rather than the Lord God Almighty.

Either He is God and is to be treated as such, or He is not.

Honestly, what I hear from you is to treat the Holy Spirit like a third wheel.

Oh, yes you say He is a person, and He leads and guides you, but you are insist on completely ignoring Him and treating Him like the angels rather than as God.

If the Holy Spirit is God, then when I speak to "God," why am I not speaking to the Holy Spirit as well as to the Son and to the Father?

No. I am not Mormon nor Jehovah's Witnesses. I believe the Holy Spirit is God and part of the Trinity.

Doesn't bother me that I am of the few, but since you were wrong in judging me and not reading my posts what I have clearly stated about the Holy Spirit, maybe you should pray to the Lord Jesus for discernment by His Words.. so go ahead. Do it for kicks even. I'm hoping the Lord will give you an answer anyway.

And as far as being of the few, there are more muslims than christians... there are more catholics than non catholics.... there are more pentecostal and charismatic than baptists ...numbers in regards to what is right or of God in the last days should not be a guide.

Sorry. It just seems like saying Pray for kicks was the only way to get people to take me seriously enough take it to the Lord Jesus to pray even if they did not want to because they believe they know the answer already.

All you are doing by using that verse is telling me that you cannot test the spirits then. That is all you are saying to me.
