Yes, there is much prophecy regarding war - probably nuclear war. You might read Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. This talks about the Gog/Magog war. This war seems to be Russia and Iran (among others) against Israel, and I do believe that the stage is being set. But please don't worry. You have no need to be afraid. Jesus is your Saviour. Take comfort in Him. For many reasons that are too lengthy to get into here, I believe that Christ will rapture His Church before the Great Tribulation. There are many opinions and interpretations of the rapture, and I am only bringing it up here to try to give you some comfort (I don't want to get into any debate about the timing of the rapture or if it will happen) but I do not believe the Christ will let His Bride go through this. In 1 Thessalonians, Paul is addressing this issue and the words he uses (from the Greek) indicate that the Church will be taken before the Tribulation. There are so many other places that this is indicated and are comforting to read and understand - 2 Peter, Revelation, Isaiah, Jeremiah, just to name a few. Take comfort in Jesus. And remember that Israel not only has a very strong military, but God is with them.

I get very scared, too, when I think about the problems and what "might" happen. Bottom line is that God is still in control and He loves you. When I let my mind wander and start worrying, that's when I need to focus on Jesus and His promises.

Tiger, as time rolls out in front of us, we will see a lot of things change. Fear is not of the Lord. You can find peace in Jesus, if you keep your eyes on Him, and not the world.

Love in Christ,

If you are scared that you aren't right with the Lord, well, that is simple to fix! Talk to Him and ask Him to show you what you need to change. Our Lord is so loving and so forgiving, and He doesn't want anyone to parish. You are His own sweet child and you can talk to Him about anything and everything. Read you Bible. There is a lot of comfort in the Gospel of John. The Psalms are comforting, too. David had much turmoil in his Life - mostly due to war or Saul being after him or his son - but he always found comfort in the Lord.

We have our own songs today, too, that are comforting. Why not sing:

Jesus loves me, this I know.

For the Bible tells me so

Little ones to Him belong

They are weak, but He is strong

Yes, Jesus loves me!

Yes, Jesus loves me!

Yes, Jesus loves me!

The Bible tells me so.

None of this is a surprise to God. We can rest in the fact that he is in charge, and nothing can remove us from His love and care.

I'm scared that I'm not right with God.

I sure do understand and I want to share this wonderful Scripture with you.. :)

Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

People, keep in mind that only God knows the time of our demise! It is useless to speculate when! We only know that someday it WILL happen. I have heard much the same negative speaches 25 years ago when we first began talking about Saudi Arabia. And we're still waiting. Tigger is right to want to get straight with God, but not because it may or may not be our time soon. But because God is calling us now to come over to HIS side and fight another good fight. A war that many Christians are losing as we express our concerns on this topic. Tigger, show God that you trust HIM by not fearing the future because we will probably experience far worse pain in our lives as we witness the deaths of loved ones all around us. But God is a God of LIFE, and happiness and we may have even longer to endure our time on this earth. The best thing we can do for God right now is to love each other as Christ has shown us. He is the way , the truth and the light! And fear is not in my vocabulary. Only Peace.

Blessings

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
