kari I have very odd hours as well. The problem occurs when my seven year old is home and I need to change my hours..Then it sometimes is good and other times I cannot get up.

Also I do want people to know this bit of info.

When on the computer your braine registers the time as daytime... it is the light.

Ghosty and I talk.. there has been no revelation of why he was banned due to the fact neither wants to discuss it. He misses everybody and knows with understanding why he is no longer on board from what He has told me...

Ghosty is banned? WHY?????

Hey Kari,

Ghosty told me the day he was banned and I've talked to an admin or two (of course, due to privacy could'nt tell me much) but there were obviously some good reasons for it even though I don't know what they were.... I miss him too, but I think the admins know what they are doing.... :cool:

I liked Ghostie enormously.

But the mods deemed it necessary to ban him.

I wish (and hope), that there may be some way round this. If he can maybe come back and apologize, and if all can be forgiven and forgotten.

But, at the end of the day, the mods did what they are here to do. And I trust them. :whistling:

DEFINITLY agreed.. I miss him SO much and he used to be one of my main people to have food fights with, my bro in Christ... but I think we all can attest to that we know that the admins have done what they deemed best....

I miss him too. What does the status of "banned" mean? Can they still read posts? Presumably they can't post?

I don't know...it's not funny when you realize that if you even actually discuss the subject of this thread you could wind up being banned from here.

I pray for the mods, but I don't necessarily trust them all. They are humans also, subject to all the weaknesses that other humans are subject to.

I closed this thread.

I have served on this Ministry for more than several years now. I have always seen, as a Mod, the highest standards applied according to Biblical mandate, as well as, the utmost in accountability. The actions that Board Mods take here are seen not only by every other Mod but also all of the Watchmen, all of the Chat staff, and they are even partially viewed by the Prayer Board staff as well. All of these positions are VOLUNTEER. There is plenty of accountability and plenty of room for anyone at all, to include, the members here to PM any single person in authority here to question any action, including George himself. Of course privacy concerns trumps all information passed on. :emot-nod:

That said, if you have any concern whatsoever over how the Ministry operates. Please communicate such privately, especially if you desire to make a claim about individuals personally. It is the Biblical mandate that we do have as believers.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
