I know this website that has videos of radical islamist movements executing people, i could only watch 1 video (i've seen it before) but this time, like last time really freaked me out. I saw a man get his head cut off with a knife and it wasn't a quick death, i could see inside of his neck and all his blood gushing out.

I'll remember the mans face for the rest of my life.

How can i forget this, this has really got to me, i dont think i'll ever forget it.

The only thing i gained from watching this was a great fear of muslims.

the only advice I can share is to give it to the Lord. You can not erase it from memory, nor can you turn back time. God must of allowed you to view this clip for a reason. Ask Him what that reason was. Only through Him can you have peace with any matter.

I saw a video like that as well. It made me think of Revelation 20:4 when it talked about those who are beheaded for the witness of Jesus (during the tribulation). By Islam's definition, anyone who is not a follower of Islam is an infidel and most of them think everyone who is not Muslim is a Christian.

It also make me think of what Paul said, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

We are not to fear what man can do (Luke 12:4), only to fear God.

God does not give us a spirit of fear.

I felt horror just from reading about your experience. I feel horror everytime I see or hear about anything like this. My first thought is always, "the suffering!" and something in me starts screaming. It's almost as if I can feel what they feel. I know I can't. I've never experienced anything even close to that. And I never forget such things either.

When my husband was sent to prison, all I could think about was the terror and suffering he must be feeling and experiencing. I had dropped my nieces and my daughter off at school and was heading home. I thought about him being there, the other men who would hurt him. I was so scared for him. I started sobbing and begging God to protect him and I just kept sobbing. Something in me ached so deeply..the ache went deeper than anything I knew I was capable of feeling. I suddenly realized I was experiencing my own pain over this, and God's as well. God was sobbing with me. I was feeling SORROW, not sadness. I was feeling what He was feeling. It felt like I was going to be crushed under it, and yet I also knew that I had only been given just a tiny piece of His sorrow. To have had anymore would've killed me. I feel blessed that God would share that with me. It's something special He trusts me with, and I feel honored.

I think my horror comes from it being all too real. My mind just doesn't want to accept that people can be so...there isn't even a word for it. Evil, cruel, cold, hardened, heartless...not one of these words fully describes how I feel. I was watching a documentary a while back and saw a man being decapitated from a guillotine (sp?). It was a split second, but it was enough to shock me, jolt me...I don't know. My mind went blank from shock I guess. And horror. Then came that scream from inside. I can't wrap my mind around the reality of it all.

I don't really have any words of comfort for you. I can't find peace either. I'm very glad God is sovereign though. If I didn't have His tower to run to, I think I'd be very insane by now.

I know the sorrow of which you speak. The word that seems to have escaped you is evil. Acts such as these are pure evil.

In the past I have considered what it would be like to "experience" a guillotine and in my own opinion it would be quick and painless compared to so many other ways to die such as bullet or stab wounds. It would be far more humane than be decapitated with a knife by any stretch of the imagination. I believe I would prefer the guillotine to drowning or burning to death.

Ultimately I do not fear death but suffering is something I have no stomach for.

Do not fear those people.

They may be able to stop your heart, but they can't take it.

Dying is not the end.....it's the beginning.

Is there some issue that is compelling you to watch something like that?

Hi MITL.

Many Believers have had a look at these web-sites, mainly just to see if Islamists are really as cruel as people say they are, and you must remember they have been put up specifically to put fear into the hearts of those that do not follow the teachings of their prophet Mohammed.

We all contemplate the way in which we might die from time to time, and generally the older you are the closer to home the reality of ones own mortality becomes. I think many Christians still struggle with aspects of death and dying, especially when exposed to a violent and seemingly prolonged death like the one you watched.

You have a choice on whether to dwell on what you have seen and allow the shock of it to continually upset you and put fear into your heart...or to determinedly make an effort, not to forget it, but to replace the horror with the truth of G-d, and allow the assurance of His love for you to flood in. As you allow yourself to be engulfed again and again in His love, you will overcome what has happened to you, and you will in time be able to encourage others that might be in a similar position.

Here are a few verses to help you on your way, but first I want to briefly pray for you....

L-rd I thank You that You truly love us and care for us so much, and You have made available the blood of Your dear Son, to cleanse us and wash us from all our sins. Clear out the shock and the impact from this dear Believers mind of everything they watched that seeks to take them captive and cause such unrest and unquiet in their soul, and replace it with Your love and assurance and that joy unspeakable that only You can give. Thank you in the name of Messiah. Amen.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

Psalm 61

1 Hear my cry, O God;

listen to my prayer.

2 From the ends of the earth I call to you,

I call as my heart grows faint;

lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 For you have been my refuge,

a strong tower against the foe.

2Cor 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

May the Peace of G-d which passes all understanding be yours in abundance. In Him. Botz

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
