I watched some program on the TV last night and it gave me a little more insight about the KU Klux, I never knew they started a long time ago and even dared to have God in it and burning the cross . It looks very satanic.

I understand there were alot people members of this gang.

How big is it now and what do you know about them?

What for kind of people became members? To me it looks like Hitler, away with the Jews and black people .....it sounds terrible.

They remind me a bit of the skinheads in Germany.

The Klu Klux Klan is the equivilent to the skinheads in germany, and are often catagorized as skin heads... the organization (if you wanna call it that) was founded by supposed christian beliefs... (yay someone else to give us a bad name)... the foundation of the Klu Klux Klan is hatred which by all means rules it out from any christian connection..

I would suggest going to ask.com or a Christian type of search engine and type in history of Klu Klux Clan. They are still an active thing. Especially in the South. They aren't as bold as before but they still hold demonstrations and the such when say, a black person is running or elected for office. They used to murder etc for the sake of "Racial Cleansing". But now they are underground more in their influences. But study it, it will help you to better understand the traps some people get caught in when they allow themselves to be easily influenced.

I have always been taught....."Know what you believe and believe what you know because someone out there is going to try and test our knowledge and beliefs."

I was just looking if somebody had any experience with this gang.

I'm stunned that they have so many members... :D

I know the skinheads are still very active in Germany..and many are afraid of them.

Thanks, Angels

Hi angel,

Hate comes in many forms and hides behind false truths to justify itself. The KKK has been around for over a hundred years. Members are often part of family lines... passed down from great-grandad to grandad to dad and to son, etc... My Ex husband is from the south, it wasn't til after 2 years of marriage that I found out that he had a family lineage with the kkk. The hate, their beliefs in the false truth is passed down, it is taught to them.

When I was around 7 or 8 years old, [this was back in the 70's] we lived in Paradise, a small northern California town. One Sunday we were introduced to a new family at church, they were welcomed warmly and were invited to a luncheon after the service. They were a black family, they had a daughter my age and they seemed real nice. One week later I heard my mother spaeking to someone on the phone in a voice of fear and panic.... We found out that someone in town had burned a cross on the new family's front lawn and threatened them. It was scary to think that someone who could do this, lived among us. The new family left town quickly.

When I was 12 ['79/'80] we moved to northern Idaho [a year later to Spokane Wa.]; that's where we had run-ins with the Neo-Nazi group from Hayden Lake. I have some Itallian/French blood in my heritage from my mothers side, we have dark hair and a light olive complexion. When we went shopping, we were told by the neo-nazi's to go back to Mexico, once we were even threatened.

When I was 18 ['85] we moved to Tacoma Wa, there we had run-ins with the Nation of Islam [black separtists], who were equally filled with the same hate as the Neo-Nazi's. For a short time, there had even been a warning put out to all white women, not to be out alone at night in the city of Tacoma... Gangs of young black men, who had been indoctrinated by the Nation of Islam or the New Black Panthers were raping white women in order to 'defile or dilute the white population'. At first I couldn't believe it, then I met a young man from the Nation of Islam who told me his beliefs... I was shocked and sickened....

What these groups all have in common is hate, fear and lies sold as truths. It is very, very sad and scary.

I found this while trying to look up some more info for you, I don't know about the site but I found this info interesting.

I heard its less than 1 % of the population. Alot of hype because of its history.

They also hated catholics & jews. Its not just a racial hate group. I believe a majority of it was the southern baptist affiliation.

I believe the kkk represents the absolute dregs of society. I can't perceive a worse evil than racism. hell is too good for those that partake in it.

The kkk would like you to believe their membership is greater than it is....actually, and thank God, their membership is shrinking.... :sweating:

I feel like I should respond, because I live in the deep South. I have never seen any demonstrations or such- but I do know that they have meetings. There's actually meetings held in the town I live in. You wouldn't even know if you ran into one (a member, that is- I'd notice if I ran into a meeting!)! In my town they're pretty harmless- they're not proactive in their beliefs. They are harmful (to themselves) in their way of thinking, but like I said, I've never seen any actions. And I was born and raised here! I should bust up on their meeting and witness! Well... I'll pray for now... :t2:

I lived in Louisiana for 2 years and I did not see or hear of any 'activity'. Like I said in a post above, my ex had family lineage with the klan, I think it was his grandfather who last belonged. They were one of the old families in the area and they were all Catholic. So, <shrug> I don't know??? It wasn't something they talked about, it just slipped out one day in conversation and then quickly hushed, otherwise I would've never known.

Now on the other hand the Neo-Nazi's, Aryan Nations, group is alive and kicking, I have seen/heard of plenty of rallies by this group, mostly when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. It always made the evening news. They had a compound in the Hayden Lake area [Nothern Idaho, near Coeur d' Alene, Postfalls Id.] back in the 70's and 80's, I don't know if it is still there, I heard that they got in trouble with the IRS. There has also been some buzz in the media about them being involved with domestic terrorism awhile back.

The link I gave in my previous post is from the Southern Poverty Law Canter. I don't know anything about them or their accuracy on facts but they do provide brief histories on the active hate groups in the US. They also have lists of the active groups for each state set up in a map format: SPL Center

The groups they list are :

KKK

Neo-Nazi

Neo-Confederate

Racist Skinhead

Black Separatist

Christian Identity

 Sad, sad, sad.

they are still active,

there are people here that claim membership,

on place they use to meet here was purchased by a Christiand man/organization and that land is being used for retreats and gatherings for churches, and there is a cave there that they use to hide out in, that is used for plays, and such in the middle of the summer.... one of the best ones is a monodrama of Joh on Patmose

....

yes, they are active,

yes, they are classified as a hate group,

and yes they still protest and have ralleys,

I have not been to any, nor will I.....

at a ralley all they want to do is get every ones blood boiling... boiling so much that they are ready to kill...... rage is a game they play.

I hope you do not ever get close enough to them to even talk with anyof them.... they can be very convincing of their position. very deceptive.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
