  1. The armies today don't need the river dried up to get across
  2. Marv shortly after Armageddon, isn't the same thing as "the day and hour"
  3. Marv do we believe what you say here, or do we believe what the Bible plainly says? I think we better go with the Bible.
  4. The first resurrection and the second coming are the same event says the Bible Rev. 20
  5. There is nothing in this vs. that suggests the "hour of testing" is the tribulation, and for sure nothing in that vs. suggests the pre-trib rapture. If the pre-trib rapture takes all the Christians out of this world, tell me what the purpose is to test sinners?
  6. An extra-biblical teaching is something which is not found in the Bible. But the Rapture is indeed the Blessed Hope of the Church, so perhaps you need to go back and study the Rapture (1 Thess 4:13-18): 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. No one reading Acts chapter 3 (other than Omegaman) will even imagine that Peter has to say anything about this. As to a post-Tribulation Rapture, one has to really strain at Scripture to come up with that scenario. Ezra, the so called pre-trib rapture Scripture that you attached here plainly tells us who the Lord brings down with Him in vs. 14. It's all the dead in Christ, not raptured saints. The so called rapture Scripture is a perfect picture of the resurrection/rapture happening at the second coming, as described in Rev.20.
  7. Very well done Omegaman!!! By the sound of bopeep's last post, her eyes are starting to open, she just don't want to admit it yet.
  8. Not sure what you meant by this. The ones who are raptured are ALL THE SAINTS who have ever lived, since it is a Resurrection/Rapture. But they first GO with the Lord to Heaven, then COME with the Lord at His Second Coming. The Marriage of the Lamb must take place between the Rapture and the Second Coming. See Revelation 19 for details. What I meant by that is they're will not be a pre-trib rapture, the rapture happens at the second coming just as the Bible says.
  9. I personally wouldn't limit it to New Testament saints. Correct Last Daze I think the Old Testament Saints will be in that number also, I just failed to wright it down.
  10. The saints coming with the Lord at the rapture/second coming are all the ones that have died over the last 2000 years. Not a group of pre trib raptured people.
  11. The word "saved" in, he who endures to the end will be saved, doesn't mean salvation, it means rescued.
  12. I've read it, it is quoted several times in the Bible. I think it was a book that was read and respected by the public in the later BC and early AD years, I liked it.
  13. I'll try it again now Roy, how is this. The Anointed Master that rescues his people
  14. I await your answer Roy, I know you are a great teacher, you have taught me a lot over the years.
  15. Lord = ruler Christ = rescuer
  16. The Ruler and Savior of His people?
  17. The Ezekiel 38 war is next thing on the prophetic clock
  18. They had oil in their lamps, they just didn't have extra oil, they were told to go buy more oil, which was impossible
  19. If the oil is the Holy Spirit, we have a problem. The five foolish virgins had oil, the same as the wise virgins, the foolish run out of oil and are told to go buy more. How did they use up their oil, the Bible says He will Never leave us nor forsake us.
