Ella....if you know you are a sinner who needs a Saviour you are miles ahead of the unsaved and the religionists who are trusting in themselves, whether they know it or not. If you can say from your heart...” Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner” , Jesus has promised to show you mercy.”Anybody that asks to be saved W I L L BE SAVED”....... not put on probation.Trust Him and He will put His Spirit in you .You do not have to change to become a Christian——- but if you trust HIM....watch out! He just might change you....He desires to finish the work that HE started.He’ll do what nobody can, which is to change us from the inside.God bless.

If one digs a little deeper they find that to the legalists, they pay lip- service to faith, the Blood, good works ,whatever.Their true savior is a timely, fortunate repentance.No matter what you believe—-faith, works, loving the good life, staying up-to- date with your list of things you need to be forgiven of—— it doesn’t matter. There is something out there that trumps everything you ever tried to do.Commit a sin and then die suddenly of a heart attack or car crash without having the good fortune of having time to repent of that sin and you are as Hell- Bound as Hitler himself.What a sad way to live.What a way to insult the Blood of Christ.What a way to hear “ I never knew you”

Thank you Heart for posting this concise ,inspired masterpiece.Gods Grace keeps us secure during this struggle.The Blood Of Christ covers our sins during this process.....trusting in “ lucky repentance”—— that repentance that must take place between our last sin and our death that some here subscribe to is a perversion of Paul’s simple Gospel. Given to him by Jesus.Contrary to popular belief, adding to the Gospel is how one “ falls from grace”.I hope new Believers understand this early in their Christian Walk.Faith in the Gospel. 1cor15:1-4 Is what saves you. Faith plus nothing.Jesus gets ALL the glory.Not 99% Jesus and 1% your performance.God won’t have His Son Slighted.

Butero.....You left out the grand-daddy of all their lies....purgatory.Belief in It shows an absolute lack of understanding of even the most basic elements of our faith.The more I researched it the sicker I became.It is such an insult to our Savior, it broke my heart. I pray God opens the eyes of those who have been so deceived.

Newbie Believers take note.....All of this is a waste of time unless you are fortunate enough to get the all- important “Lucky Repentance”. That would be the Repentance which does the True Saving.If you sin and then die before you repent of that sin , Christianity has been a cruel joke for you—— you are headed for the eternal fires of Hell.Worse case scenario.....you have lived an exemplary life....all due Repentance is paid up...you have a new slate.....you are driving down the interstate......watch out!! ......here comes a semi- truck in your lane.....you scream out awwww sh—! You are then killed instantly......your luck was bad......you had no time to repent of that sin.....you wake up in Hell. “The righteous shall LIVE by FAITH” is what God says—- not “ The righteous shall live by timely, constantly updated repentance with your fingers crossed at all times , lest you Be unlucky”.Modern day Judaizers that add to,that is “ pervert” Paul’s Gospel given to him by Jesus never talk out Grace.You finish the Christian walk the same way you started it.The grace payed for by Christ at the Cross that saved you because of your faith will get you Home.Count on it.Dont count on luck!

Poor God.These sly murderers sure got God over a barrel.He must be wringing His hands trying to do something to get Himself out of this mess that He Himself created by this repentance thingy.” Thinking” you are a Christian does not make you one.” Sincere Repentance” is a lie if you are planning to commit the same sin that you are supposedly repenting of.A true Christian is not sitting around conjuring up ways to sin and get away with it.A true Christian has a pierced heart, made contrite by the Holy Spirit.These types of people wouldn’t know contrition if it jumped up and bit them in the butt.God knows their hearts—— the joke is on them—-they are not Christians, they are lost fools.

I was dismayed to discover that C.S. Lewis promoted the belief of Purgatory.So much for any credibility He may have had.If you believe in Purgatory you have NO understanding of Christianity.I would really love for somebody smarter than me to come up with a better analogy than this but isn’t it kinda like saying “ I believe jets can fly, but I refuse to climb on board unless it goes no higher than ten feet” Jesus paid for our sins but not really—— we must pay for some that slipped through the cracks.What an insult to the entire underpinnings of our faith.Satan loves it.He invented it.

The more you find out about purgatory the more sickening it is.Such an insult to everything Christianity stands for.A demon- inspired fairy tale that has sent countless souls to Hell.After all , why turn to God for the forgiveness of sins if you’re willing to live a life of sin and be gutsy enough to pay the price on your own with a temporary time of anguish .No need for any Shed Blood in this repulsive scenario.

God does not want you to live a life of effort and striving.He desires that you REST in the finished work of His Son.You need to trust in HIM—— not your pitiful efforts to save yourself or keep yourself saved by living a “good” life.We can’t live the Christian life, despite all of our striving.It must be lived THROUGH us..Trust Jesus , get out of the way, and let The Holy Spirit do His Job.If you are a Believer,your sins are forgiven, God imputed the righteousness of His Son to your Heavenly account and you obey God from a sense of gratitude and love,not from a fear that any misstep will cast you into the flames of Hell.Realax a little, take advantage of the joy of Christianity that is available to all Believers because of what Jesus accomplished at the cross.

You left out the granddaddy of them all—- purgatory.The very idea of it turns Christianity upside down.Sickening and heart- breaking at the same time.Those that believe it have no understanding of true Christianity.It is an insult to the Blood of Christ.

I think some can be saved DESPITE the abundance of false teachings in the Catholic Church......it may be among God’s most amazing miracles....

So when St. Paul says that he saves some souls (yes, he, St. Paul, says that he saves souls. Not Christ: To the weak I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some.-1 Cor 9:22), we know that he means it only through his union with the One Savior. wow......this is really getting creepy.....Paul was nothing more than a wretched sinner.....He preached a Gospel thAt saved if believed....those that believed only did so because they had ears to hear....those with ears to hear only had those ears because The Holy Spirit pierced their hearts and convicted them of sin....God gets credit for it all ......A to Z....... I am not sure what you mean by this “union” Paul had with the One Savior...but when you say “not Christ” you are in dangerous territory

I think the easy believism teachings popular today lead people into dangerous conclusions about spiritual rest and enduring " But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Matt 24:13 There exists no such thing as “easy believism”. The free gift of salvation was made available to all of us at a horrific cost......Nothing “easy” about the torture Christ endured to give us the incredible deal He offers us—— He got your sin , and you got His Righteousness....what an incredible , loving God.All we do is believe Paul’s Gospel given to him by Christ himself.God made it so “ easy “ for us that all the unsaved and perverters and preachers of the “ accursed” Gospel will be without excuse come Judgement Day.I wish they would join my side where we can “ sin all we want”.Sadly they never get it.Having all the burdens they carry and all the worries they must endure removed from my shoulders is the true impetus for wanting to obey out of a sense of love for my Savior.The only thing they really , REALLY believe is what I call “ The Doctrine Of Lucky Repentance”. All the “ holy living” they did, the years of empty sacrifices they endured thinking they were “ pleasing God” counts for nothing If they slip up and say a bad word right before they die if they were not able to slip a hasty repentance in there before that last breath.One key word they never included in their missives was the word “ grace”. They never understood it—— more important , they never trusted it. Never lived to see how it couuld exist without turning it into a license to sin.How great a life it is when one understands true Sabbathing.I pray God opens the eyes of the religionists.All thAt work for nothing.

Muslims would be wise to note what the late, great Zola Levitt had to say about their Koran—— it’s a lot like our Bible, only without the New Covenant.The bad news revealed in the Old Testament is that all men are sinners, Muslims and non-Muslim alike.All of us humans need some good news.It ain’t gonna be found in the Koran.It will, however be found in the Bible, specifically in the New Testament.For simply believing a promise of God, Found in 1cor15:1-4, God Will give you all the things you have been working for in your religion.your god allah says “do”. Our God says “ done”. If you ever come to understand and live that reality you will blessed for Eternity.I pray that God will give you “eyes to see” His way of Salvation.

You could stop this sin tonight and still “go to Hell”....if sin sends us all to Hell, Heaven is going to be a very lonely place. If you see yourself as a hell-deserving sinner, you are halfway home.Turn in faith to the one who shed His blood so that you can be as justified before God as any of the rest of us wretched sinners.If, from your heart, you can cry out “ Lord Jesus , have mercy on me a sinner” He has promised He will show you mercy and give you the Spirit that will change your life.Believe a promise of God—that is what faith is.You do not have to change before you come to God.But if you chose to turn to God—— Watch Out! People who feel an obligation to tithe best not forget to sacrifice their goat or whatever....The Body Of Christ in this Age of Grace is under no obligation to give anything.Paul has given us the latest instructions concerning giving.Give from your heart, but keep in mind that the more you give the more you will receive.I would love to have the wisdom and faith of John Wesley who gave 90% and kept only 10%....... think of the tre@sure awaiting him in Paradise.

I don’t know......seems like a suicide that has positive repercussions would still be suicide...He had plenty of selfish reasons to want to leave this Earth......a chained prisoner,probably for the rest of his life, eyes gouged out.....he was in terrible pain, like all suicide victims.....possibly not quite as altruistic as the grenade guy from the example

Sampson committed suicide, yet is considered “ a hero of faith”. It appears God took his faith and counted it as righteousness.Thats the same thing He did for me.....and YOU if you have faith.Plus nothing.

Wow........let’s keep the same story going about our imaginary guy from your camp.....he was perfect and then committed the willful sin of smoking a cigarette.Maybe you ha d a better example, I’m just trying to make a point.Will one puff without repenting send him to hell? He was a born-again, God and man lover , gave everything he ever had to the poor, prayed without ceasing, a bad thought never entered his mind, but at the last second he committed a willful sin so he is bound for hell——- is that correct?

......and with your doctrine I could live a perfect life and at the last second before I die have an unclean thought and wind up in Hell because I did not have time to repent. This guy has never existed.It is ridiculous to think he ever will.Just like the murdering , child molesting OSAS Believer boogie- man.He has never and will never exist.
