Spirit of Elijah or Reincarnation of Elijah?
Desopixi Seilynam replied to LearningToLetGo's topic in General Discussion
"Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord" Malachi 4:5 "Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?" "And Jesus answered and said, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they wanted, as it is written of him." Matthew 17:10-13, Mark 9:11-13. Elijah did not die, John the baptist died. The prophets in Revelation 11 do not stay dead, their bodies don't decay, after 3 days they are raised to life and up to heaven. The prophets in Revelation 11 are the ones coming very shortly before the literal great and dreadful day of the Lord. Revelation 19 describes the day; Malachi 4:2-3 very literally coming to pass. ------- It's not reincarnation, it's that Elijah is a special servant of God. I do believe that Elijah and John shared the same spirit, quite literally. And yes, the man John, due to the nature of the flesh, was unaware of his spiritual conncetion to the man Elijah. However it's a special case, we don't all go through such, we don't all have 'past lives' there is no reincarnation, it's just that Elijah is special. Each sincere servant of God will have their own uniqueness, we should all seek what God has for us, for we are special to Him, He desires to do fantastical things with us. -

As followers of Christ we are to hold Christ in the highest regard. Christ said: "You have heard that it was said, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, But I say unto you that you resist not an evil person, but whoever will strike you on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Matthew 5:38-39 "love your enemies, do good to them that hate you" Luke 6:27 With Christ as our foundation [Matthew 7:24-28, John 14:21-24, 1 Corinthians 16:22, 1 Timothy 6:3-4] We understand that we should plan to love and give, not plan to kill. It's 80% likely that anyone who would want to harm us would be doing so in the hopes of getting money/valuables. And so we have some money set aside specifically for that, that is our 'gun'. Surely if they want any property, they can have it, that is what Christ said to do, let them have it. Matthew 5:42 We trust Christ that as we keep His word, nothing will happen that He does not want to happen in our lives. -
The visions in the book of Revelation, similar to the visions in the book of Daniel, are telling the one same story repeatedly, each giving different details of the one same repeated story. Revelation 9:11, 13:1-10 and 17:7-18 are speaking of the same person. [ The beings in Revelation 9, actually controlled by the wounded/healed king, will be presented to humanity as "aliens" from "outer-space", in order to mask and muddy the end time events ] Due to Revelation 19:20-21 we can conclude that "beast" and "false prophet" ultimately culminate as two people. Revelation 17:7-18 is using the word "beast" interchangeably. It says there are 7 kings and that the "beast" is the 8th and "of the seven". How can he be 8th, "and of the seven", if there are only 7 kings? Well, we know from Rev 13:3 that one of the heads of the beast gets seemingly wounded and healed, and all the unsaved world marvels at it. Therefore we can conclude that after his wounding/healing he is like a different person and therefore eighth. And that wounded/healed king is therefore the chief king of the seven kings, the chief king of the kingdom that is the beast as a whole, and therefore himself can represent the kingdom as a whole, and in that manner Revelation 17:8-15 is using the word "beast" to refer to that wounded/healed king and his kingdom.

Right, and as we read it all, Paul specifically tells us that the foundation is Christ. It is Paul who says "Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?" Therefore it is clear that his point is that we are to be focused on Christ, not on himself. Paul's words are not the foundation, yes they are words from God, reminding us that the foundation words came from Christ.
-
Works are the product of salvation; Ephesians 2:10, therefore a saved person is full of good works. "they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts" Galatians 5:24
-
The thief was repentant; Luke 24:41, admitting his guilt before God. Perhaps he was repentant in his jail cell and the days leading up to his crucifixion, he definitely did not steal on that very day, he would have already been in jail for some time. [All this is if we are only taking Luke's version into account, which we have to in order to put so much weight on the matter] In 1 Corinthians 3 Paul is speaking about the messages from himself, and from others such as Apollos; "ministers by whom ye believed" The foundation message is from Christ. Therefore "work" built upon in the passage is referring to messages spoken by preachers. Paul's point is that Christ should be our main preacher/teacher not himself or Apollos or any other minister. "Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?" 1 Cor 1:13 "If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ..." 1 Corinthians 16:22 Christ teaches that "he that has my teachings and keeps them, he it is that loves me" Christ teachings are found here; Matthew 5 through 7 and Luke 6:27-49. According to 1 Corinthians 3 and 1 Timothy 6:3-4, Christs teachings are to be our foundation, not Paul's teachings. To sincerely be founded on Christ is to listen to and heed Christ.
-
He that has my commands and keeps them, He it is that loves me. [Due to the full context of the passage: John 14:21-24, we know that His teachings are for anyone not just the Jews] Thereby we know that those who actually love Jesus will put His specific teachings [Luke 6:27-49, not the whole entire Torah] into practice. If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that man be anathema, Oh Lord come! 1 Corinthians 16:22

We ourselves were [past tense] sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our savior toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Lord. I stand by the totality of the passage. We know the fullness of what that washing means from Galatians 5:22-24. It's because of that washing that the things in verse 3 are past tense. These things are faithful sayings, and these are the things I would that thou affirm; that they which have believed might be careful to maintain good works. Titus 3:8 Clearly the purpose of Paul's words in Titus 3:3-8 is that we maintain good works, therefore one has to ignore those words of his to make them about something else. Verse 7 is not absent of verse 8 or verse 3, Paul did not separate his words into verses, that was done hundreds of years after the writing, clearly it is one continuous letter, to be read in full context of everything said.

Prophecy: Israel's dead men shall rise, together with my dead body shall they arise. Isaiah 26:19 In that day the Lord with His severe and great and strong sword shall punish Leviathan and the Dragon. Isaiah 27:1 Come from the four winds, Oh breath of life, and breath upon these slain that they may live. And they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Ezekiel 37:9-10 And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for He is strong that executes His word; for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible Joel 2:11 Wheresoever the bodies are there will the birds be gathered together. Matthew 24:28 Luke 17:37 He shall send forth His angels with the sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones, from the four winds Matthew 24:31 Behold the Lord comes with 10,000's of His saints to do doom upon all flesh Jude 1:14-15 Fulfillment: The armies in the sky [ 1 Thess. 4:16-17 ] followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean Revelation 19:14 And an angel standing in the sun said to all the birds that fly in the midst of the sky; Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God. Revelation 19:17 The beast and false prophet [Leviathan and the Dragon] were captured and thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 19:20 And the rest were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded from His mouth, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Revelation 19:21

Iniquity/transgression is disobedience to Gods law. [1 John 3:4] Christ goes on to say that those who are founded on The Rock, are those that actually practice His teachings; Matthew 7:24-28. The works are not generated by self, they are generated by the Spirit of Christ inside of the believer, therefore the sincere believer will be full of good works. For we have been saved for good works; Ephesians 2:10. "And that Christ died for all, that they which live should henceforth not live unto themselves, but unto Him that died for them and rose again" 2 Corinthians 5:15 The ability to and desire to keep the teachings of Christ, stems from sincere faith in and love for Christ. [John 14:21-24, 1 Corinthians 16:22] Therefore: "Hereby we do know that we know Christ, if we keep the teachings of Christ" 1 John 2:3-4 "They that belong to Christ, have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts" Galatians 5:24 Because the fruit of the Spirit includes "self control" Galatians 5:23 Therefore we are granted the ability, by the Spirit, to control ourselves. By faith we exercise that granted fruit, and thereby go away from the deeds of the flesh. Because we have been saved, for good works Ephesians 2:10. "they which have believed should be careful to maintain good works" Titus 3:8

Luke 8:26 - 40 Many demons came out of one man and went into a herd of swine. Luke 24:37-39 "And they were terrified and supposed that they had seen a spirit" "But He said, why are you troubled.. behold my hands and feet.. handle me and see for a spirit has not flesh and blood as you see I have" There is a spiritual realm that is not normally physically seen. Perhaps it is some sort of particles of light science has yet to detect, or that science denies. Perhaps somewhere among the aether that was studied by people such as Nicola Tesla but dismissed by Einstein. 1 Kings 17:17-22 "..O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again" "and the Lord heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came into him again" We have literal souls, given to us by God, that are part of the spiritual realm. Perhaps some sort of particles of light that intermingle with our blood and ultimately cause the electrical pulses in our brains and bodies. Therefore if the flow of blood is greatly hindered the soul looses hold. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" James 2:26 Our bodies now contain our souls, our souls are on the inside of our bodies. Adam and Eve ate fruit that made them more physically aware and less spiritually aware. At the first they had instinctive knowledge that they were spirits inside of flesh, therefore they were naked and not ashamed. Gen 2:25. But after they ate the fruit, that instinctive spiritual knowledge was overshadowed by greater physical knowledge and they therefore were ashamed of their physical nakedness. Our glorified bodies will be soul on the outside containing the flesh; a spiritual body.

What shall we say then, shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not. Know ye not that to whom ye present yourselves slaves to obey, his slaves you are whoever you obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? When you were the slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness. What fruit had you then in those things whereof you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become slaves to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end, everlasting life. Romans 6:15 - 22 When we were in the flesh the passions of sins, which were aroused by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now being delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, that we should serve in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:5-6 We understand what the spirit of the law is; Matthew 7:12, John 15:12, Romans 13:8-9, Galatians 5:14. And we have the Holy Spirit, the Author of the law, residing inside of us. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Christ from the dead is in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies, by His Spirit that is in you. Therefore, we are not debtors to the flesh to live after the flesh. Romans 8:10-14 This I say therefore, walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. Galatians 5:23-24

About Zephaniah
Desopixi Seilynam replied to mercy100's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Zephaniah will be resurrected. "Israels dead men shall rise, together with my dead body shall they arise" Isaiah 26:19 "In that day the Lord with His strong and severe sword (His mouth) shall punish Leviathan.. and He shall slay the Dragon" Isaiah 27:1 [Revelation 19:7-21] "Come from the four winds, Oh breath of life, and breath upon these slain, that they may live, and they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army" Ezekiel 37:9-10 [Jude 1:14-15, Rev 19:14-17] "He will send forth His angels, and they shall gather together His chosen ones, from the four winds" Matthew 24:31 "I will open up your graves, and bring you up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel" Ezekiel 37:12 [It's a clear prophesy concerning resurrection, as demonstrated by Christ] "And David my servant shall be a king among them" Ezekiel 37:24 "David whom I will raise up unto them" Jeremiah 30:9 [resurrection] "Therefore my flesh shall rest in hope, for you will not leave my soul in Sheol" Psalm 16:10 ------- There are perhaps two Zephaniah's "Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah" Jeremiah 21:2 which we can conclude is the same from 2 Kings 25. And "Zephaniah the son of Cushi" Zephaniah 1:1 who lived during the reign of Josiah; 2 Kings 22:1. -
Due to Matthew 21:45-46 we can conclude that He is still speaking about the false swearers, those Jews that reject Him. In His day it was the chief priests and Pharisees, as we read from 21:45. They were invited to the feast, but did not want to go and ultimately even killed the kings servants. (the prophets) We know what the feast is, the feast is described in Revelation 19:7-21; the marriage supper of the Lamb; Psalm 58:10 and Malachi 4:3 very literally coming to pass. Everyone is invited, both bad and good, the initial acceptance of the invitation is believing that Joshua of Nazareth; the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world; lived, died and physically rose from the dead. [and therefore going to His wedding feast is something good and desirable to do] Those sincerely accepting the invitation will have their robes washed in the blood of the Lamb. "Blessed are they who have washed their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city" Revelation 22:14 The actual invitation, the printed ticket, as it were, is the Holy Spirit. The ticket is dripping wet with the blood of the Lamb, one sincerely accepting the invitation will therefore not just have the ticket, will not just have held the ticket gingerly between two fingers, (because its covered in blood) but will also be covered in blood, from having fully grasped the ticket. Therefore a proper wedding garment is one covered in blood, from one who never put the ticket down, but was rather guided by the ticket and the hope of going to the wedding feast. One entering the feast without a proper wedding garment, will be kicked out. "I will declare unto them, I never knew you, depart from me ye that work lawlessness" Matthew 7:23 "Hereby we do know that we know Christ, if we keep the teachings of Christ" 1 John 2:3-4 "Because the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self control. And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts." Galatians 5:23-24

I think 4:6 is a separate thought. It's a list. That you abstain from fornication. That you know how to posses your body in sanctification and honor; not in lust. That no one take advantage of anyone in any matter. But concerning brotherly love you need not that I write to you, for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. Mind your own business and work with your own hands (not by taking advantage of another) That you may walk properly toward them that are outside of the Church, and that you may have lack of nothing.

In Luke's account, throwing Himself down off the mount is recorded as the last temptation. God took upon the flesh He created, starved Himself for 40 days and was therefore very weak, due to the weakness of the flesh He created, it was hard for Him, in the flesh, to focus on the fact that He is God. And that is exactly what He wanted to experience. Even in that weak state He did not give into the temptations. Each temptation was a separate attempt to try to cause Christ to die in the wrong manner. After not eating for 40 days and nights a piece of bread won't really help you. Angels had to come and minister to Him when it was over, He was dying. And so the devil tried to use the knowledge that angels were coming, against Christ, he tried to confuse Christ. Like; "Ok, that's it, you won, just go ahead and let yourself fall over the cliff, (He would have been weak, hunched over, in pain, ready to just die, from not eating for 40 days, so the devil was just like, go ahead, fall over) see, it is written, they shall bear thee up.. it's now that that is talking about, go on.." It is written; thou shalt not put the Lord thy God to the test. And with that answer Christ responded as both a man and as God at the same exact time. As a man, He was not to test the situation, angels would come whenever it is over. And as God, He was saying; Thou shalt not put the Lord thy God to the test !

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then comes the wicked one and snatches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he that received seed by the wayside. Matthew 13:19 The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:11 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 God has manifested His word through preaching Titus 1:3 --- A good sower is therefore not going to preach confusion on purpose, but rather would want people to be able to clearly understand the message. --- He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me. John 14:21-24 This is my commandment, that you love one another. John 15:12 Go ye into all the world and teach all nations... teaching them to observe whatsoever I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20 If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that person be anathema. 1 Corinthians 16:22 He that loves not, knows not God, for God is love. 1 John 4:18

will the earth pass away?
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Ghostdog's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
"Now the earth was without form and void" Genesis 1:2 That "earth" clearly actually refers to water, there was no land or sky, only water and darkness. "And God said let the waters under the sky be gathered together and let the dry land appear" "And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas" Genesis 1:9-10 And so we should understand, earth, from that point on as referring to the dry land that is under the sky. When Isaiah speaks of a new heavens and earth he means a new sky and land, not a new universe. This first sky and land will burn. . . [Isaiah 34:4,9, 2 Peter 3:10-12, Rev 6:14, Psalm 58:10, Malachi 4:3] A great city that is on top of this sky now will come down onto the land, over the one place not burning; Jerusalem. A new sky will be created, and a new water source will flow from the midst of the city. [Rev 21:1-2, 22:1] -
When was Satan kicked out of heaven?
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Shua3000's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Psalms 104 for the most part, gives a song style creation account in the same general order as Genesis 1. Therefor we can conclude from the order of Psalms 104:2-4 (kjv) together with Job 38:4-7 and Genesis 1:1-7, that the spiritual angels were created some time just before or during the creation of the sky. Jesus said He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Luke 10:18 So we know it happened already, sometime before or during the ministry of Jesus. ------- Therefore Revelation 12 is an allegory representing all of time. "When the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man child." Rev. 12:13 This woman gave birth to the Messiah (12:5) The Church did not give birth to Christ. "You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I sustained you on eagles wings, and brought you unto myself" (to Israel, their own nation, in and through the wilderness, they built a temple, and God was there) Exodus 19:4 Rev 12:14 The woman in Revelation 12 is therefore Israel. Her place is Jerusalem, at times it has been at peace and safe from harm, during times of captivity it is not safe. 70 captivities are determined upon Jerusalem. "Seventy captivities are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city ... and the end thereof will be with a flood ..." Daniel 9:24-26 Daniel 9:26-27 also speaks of the instillation of the false prophet. "And the serpent cast out of his mouth a great river as a flood after the woman" Rev 12:15 Then Revelation 13 speaks of the beast and false prophet. ------- Taking all that into account, it would seem Satan fell some time during the life of Christ, perhaps right when He was born, indeed many angles were involved with His birth, so perhaps right then there was a spiritual war going on in heaven as well. -
Armies shall stand on the anti-Christs part, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress, and shall take away the daily temple sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination of desolation. ... And they that understand among the people shall instruct many .. Daniel 11:31-35 So even during the time of the anti-Christ there will be instruction from people of God.

Let's go over Matthew 7:24 through 28 dear ones. What is Christ doing in this passage? Is He telling a story or is He making an analogy? Is Matthew 7:24-28 a story? No it is not. If we simply read it all, we see clearly that it is an analogy. "Therefore, Whoever hears these sayings of mine, [Matthew 5 through 7] and puts them into practice, is like a wise man that built his house upon the Rock. The rains came and beat upon that house but it did not fall, because it was founded on the Rock. Whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does not put them into practice, is like a fool that built his house upon the sand. The rains came and beat upon that house and it fell, and great was the fall of it. And they were astonished at His doctrine for He taught as one with authority." The passage is clearly a comparison between those who actually practice His teachings and those who don't. It is not a story about two men who built houses. According to the passage, a person founded on the rock has put the teachings of Christ into practice. Clearly one reading Matthew 7:21-28 should come away with the notion that we are to put the teachings of Christ into practice. ------- He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works shall he do, for I go unto my Father. John 14:12 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God has preordained, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 I beseech you therefore to walk worthy of the calling wherewith you have been called. Ephesians 4:1 Some have given themselves over to a disregard of any rules, but you have not so learned Christ, if so be that you have heard Christ, as the truth is in Jesus. That ye put off concerning the former conduct, the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man. Ephesians 4:19-24 If anyone preaches otherwise, and agrees not to wholesome words, even to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine that is according to godliness, he is proud knowing nothing. 1 Timothy 6:3-4 The words of our Lord Jesus Christ that are also the doctrine according to godliness, are His words that He taught on the mount; Matthew 5 through 7. [Luke 6:27-49] The summary of His teachings is that we treat people the way we want to be treated, with sincere love. Matthew 7:12, John 15:12. He that loves not knows not God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8 Anyone who disobeys the Torah and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ, does not have God, whoever abides in the teachings of Christ has both the Father and the Son, if anyone comes to you preaching and does not bring this doctrine, do not invite him into your house, neither give him a greeting. 2 John 1:9-10 He that speaks about himself, seeks his own glory, he that seeks the glory of Him that sent him, the same is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. John 7:18 With deceptive words, and fair speeches the false preachers make merchandise of you. 2 Peter 2:3 I urge you to let Christ be your preacher and teacher. Let Christ be your actual preacher and teacher; behold His teachings; Matthew 5 through 7, will you hear them and do them? And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. Galatians 5:24

Making a Habit of Arguing/Debating Scripture
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Hopefully's topic in General Discussion
Altogether, everything in the Bible is very clear. Exodus 22:21 "Do not vex a stranger" Exodus 23:4-5 "If you see your enemies ox going astray, give it back to your enemy. If you see one that hates you struggling with his burden, even if you don't want to help him, you shall surely help him with it" Leviticus 19:17-18 "Love your neighbor as yourself" Leviticus 19:33-34 "The stranger that dwells among you shall be as one born among you and you shall love him as yourself" Deuteronomy 10:19 "Love ye therefore the stranger" "Learn to do well, seek justice, relive the oppressed, do not be the oppressor, vindicate the fatherless, plead for the widow" Isaiah 1:17 "Dispense justice and righteousness, and deliver the oppressed out of the hand of the oppressor, and do no wrong, do no violence, to the stranger the fatherless and the widow" Jeremiah 22:3 "These are the things you shall do; speak every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgement for truth, justice and peace in your gates; and let none of you think evil in your hearts against his neighbor" Zechariah 8:17 "Jesus said: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul and mind. And love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commands hang all the law and prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 "who is my neighbor?" Luke 10:29 "And Jesus answered and said: A certain man went down from Jerusalem.. and fell among thieves.. and they left him on the side of the road half dead. A certain priest came by, saw him, but he passed on by the other side. Likewise a Levite came by, looked at the man, but passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, when he saw the man, took him into his vehicle, and tended to the man and brought the man to an inn, and took care of him. Which of these was neighbor to the man?" Luke 10:30-37 [Everyone we encounter is therefore our neighbor.] "This is the work of God, that you believe on the one He sent." John 6:29 "Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 "give, and it will be given to you, good measure pressed down and running over" Luke 6:38 [Those are statements to be believed, many people of His day, did not, believe, such statements of His] "He that believes on me, the works that I do, shall he do also" John 14:12 "For we are His creation created in Christ Jesus for good works" Ephesians 2:10 "What avails anything is faith that demonstrates itself by love" Galatians 5:6 "If I have not love, I am nothing" 1 Corinthians 13 "Christ died for all that they which live should henceforth not live unto themselves, but unto Him that died for them and rose again" 2 Corinthians 5:15 "This is my command, that you love one another" John 15:12 "He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me" John 14:21-24 "Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?" 1 Corinthians 1:13 "If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that person be anathema" 1 Corinthians 16:22 "Hereby we do know that we know Christ, if we keep His commands" 1 John 2:3-4 "He that loves not, knows not God, for God is love" 1 John 4:8 "Whoever disobeys the Torah and does not abide in the teachings of Christ, has not God. Whoever abides in the teachings of Christ has both the Father and the Son" 2 John 1:9 -
The Messiah is the messenger of that new covenant. "Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 Believing Him, and thereby having that one easy saying in mind and heart is a very literal fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:33. "And so (or in this manner) shall all Israel be saved, as it is written: In Zion shall come the Deliverer, and He shall turn to them that turn from transgression in Jacob. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins." Rom 11:26-27 Everyone's sins were taken away when Christ died on the cross, that's how sins were taken away. Thereby it should be clear that Paul is speaking about Christ who came to Israel, died and rose again. The mystery is that He is inside of those who believe, therefore those who believe should live holy and acceptable that others may see Christ in them and believe.

God is very patient with us, and so we should be patient with others. "Until seventy times seven." What's happening in the text is also divine. The writing itself is divinely clever, so much so that the enemy tries to hide it. Thus said the Lord to Israel: "If you will not obey me I will punish you.." And if ye will not still obey me, I will punish you seven times more.." "And if ye walk contrary to me... I will bring seven times more.." "And if ye still will not be reformed.. I will bring seven times more.." "And if ye still do not hearken.. seven times more" Leviticus 26:14-28 "Seventy captivities are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city" Daniel 9:24 That's literally 70 * 70. Jeremiah 25 is prophesied to happen 70 times.

"If you believe not that I am He, you shall die in (because of/as a result of) your sins" John 8:24 "If you abide in my words then are you my disciples indeed" John 8:31 "and you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free" John 8:32 We are Abraham's descendants and have never been in bondage Why are you saying we shall be set free? John 8:33 "Verily I say unto you, whoever practices sin is the slave of sin" John 8:34 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be actually free" John 8:36 "I know you are Abraham's descendants; but you seek to kill me, because my words (Luke 6:27) have no place in you" John 8:37 "He that rejects me, and does not receive my words, has one that judges him, the words that I have spoken, the same will judge him on the last day" John 12:48 "He that hears my words and does not put them into practice, is like a man that without a foundation, built his house upon the sand, the rains and winds came and beat upon the house, and immediately it fell, and great was the fall of it" Luke 6:49 Matthew 7:21-28, John 14:21, 1 Corinthians 16:22, 2 John 1:9-10, 1 Tim 6:3-4 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Christ from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies, by His Spirit that is inside of you. Therefore, brethren, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh you shall spiritually die, but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh you shall spiritually live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:11-14 If you confess with your mouth that Joshua of Nazareth is the Messiah, and believe in your heart that God rose Him from the dead, you shall be sealed with the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:9 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self control. And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. Galatians 5:22-24 They that belong to Christ, have, crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. It's a process that happens in the life of every sincere believer, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
