  1. Exodus 3:8 - "And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. " THE JEWS WERE CALLED, NOT JUST TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROMISED LAND BUT TO "DWELL" IN IT AND MAKE IT THEIR HOME. SO ALSO I AM CALLED TO DWELL IN CHRIST, WHERE GOD IN HIS KINGDOM BECOMES MY ABIDING PLACE. 2 Timothy 4:2 - "Preach the Word urgently at all times, whenever you get the chance, in season and out, when it is convenient and when it is not. Correct and rebuke your people when they need it, encourage them to do right, and all the time be feeding them patiently with God's Word." Observation: I CONFESS THAT I AM NOT MOVING FROM THE CALLING FOR WHICH I WAS PREDESTINED. THE DEVIL AND VARIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE TRIED HARD TO MOVE ME, BUT I HAVE MADE UP MY MIND THAT I AM NOT MOVING FROM THE PLACE WHERE JESUS CALLED ME TO GIVE MY HEART! Numbers 23:19 - "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" 2 Corinthians 10:4 - "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." The word "stronghold" is a Greek word ochuroma, which means a "fortress, a castle, or a citadel." Developing a Kingdom mentality requires a paradigm shift in our thinking. As we embrace the Kingdom message, many of us are challenged with RELIGIOUS MINDSETS, OLD BELIEF SYSTEMS, and OLD PATTERNS OF BEHAVIOR. Paul addressed these strongholds and also stated that they were to be pulled down. To truly embrace the new will require that we let go of the old. The only way for us to do this is to trust the Lord and attach ourselves securely as we continue to touch Him. Affirmations: I NO LONGER RELY ON MY OWN POWER, BECAUSE I AM A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST AND HIS POWER RESIDES WITHIN ME. AS I APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS TO A STRONGHOLD, I AM USING THE WEAPON GOD HAS GIVEN ME TO DESTROY THE POWER OF THE ENEMY. GOD'S ANOINTING ON MY LIFE BREAKS THE YOKE OF WHAT IS HOLDING ME BACK FROM ENTERING INTO ALL THAT HE HAS FOR ME. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. There is kingly authority that is available through Isaiah 22:22 and the key of David. He has called us to rule and to reign with Him as His bride: "The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder, so he shall open and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open." - Isaiah 22:22 The kings who ruled during Biblical days, wore on their royal garments two keys -- one sewn onto each shoulder. These keys signified that they were the governing authority over the entire land. WE HAVE KINGLY AUTHORITY THAT GOD WANTS US TO USE God wants His kings to rise up and take their place in the earth. We need an authority that goes beyond just what we say and what we pray. We need power to be demonstrated when we begin to speak the word of God. When we begin to prophesy, we want that word to come to pass. Like Samuel, God wats to put an anointing upon us so that when we speak the words of God there is life on them; and those words don't fall to the ground, they come to pass and people begin to listen to the Church. God wants to challenge us to know that we are kings. As we step into positions of spiritual authority God will release us to worldwide prominence and expand our territories. He will take us places that we have never dreamed to release His presence and power on earth. HOW TO ACCESS THE KEY OF DAVID David was a lover of God -- the key that he wielded was the key of intimacy with God. God has beed doing a work in those who have been in a place with Him in intimacy. The key of David will loose for us what God has already loosed in Heaven on our behalf, and it will also bind things that God has already bound in heaven (Matthew 16:19). When we operate in that key of intimacy, breakthrough will happen. Intimacy releases breakthrough. JESUS IS THE KEY OF DAVID "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9:6-7) Jesus came to the earth for a purpose: to seek and save that which was lost, (the authority that Adam lost in the Garden) see Luke 19:10. He's talking about the mandate of spiritual dominion rule and reign in the earth that the devil snatched up when Adam fell in the Garden. Jesus is the One who opened all the doors that needed to be opened and shut all the doors that need to be shut when He died and rose from the dead. The key of David will loose for us what God has already loosed in Heaven on our behalf, and it will also bind the things that God has already bound in Heaven: Matthew 16:19 -- "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of Heaven...." Jesus states that He is getting the Keys back and giving them to the Church. We access the keys when we access Jesus. Knowing Jesus as a friend who is closer than a brother releases a co-laboring partnership empowered through intimacy. And that intimate relationship with Jesus releases to us the keys of revelation and knowledge that will transform nations. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. 1 Corinthians 2:16 - "For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ, the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. " If you feel weary and discouraged, in need of wisdom and direction, simply ask for God's grace and guidance. As we seek His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE and not just the benefits of "His hand," we will find that the more we know Abba Father, the more His love and compassion will emanate through us. The light and wisdom we seek from above are not to be found in human programs of education and psychology, or even in our common sense and good intentions, but only, exclusively, in the Person of Christ Jesus. "He has been made unto us wisdom." - 1 Corinthians 1:30. Affirmations: GOD WANTS ME TO BE SO IN TUNE WITH HIS SPIRIT THAT I AM ABLE TO FEEL HIS HEART OF COMPASSION TOWARD THOSE AROUND ME WHO ARE HURTING OR AFFLICTED WITH SICKNESS AND PAIN. SINCE HE IS ONE WITH ME, HE CAN REACH OUT THROUGH MY HANDS AND FULFILL HIS PURPOSES IN THE EARTH. 1 Corinthians 3:3 - "You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?" GOD HAS MORE FOR US THAT MERELY BECOMING BETTER PEOPLE; HE WANTS TO FLOOD OUR LIVES WITH THE SAME POWER THAT RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD! GOD DOES NOT MERELY WANTS US "NORMAL," HE WANTS US CHRISTLIKE! Romans 5:20 - "But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." Observation: GOD USES DARK MOMENTS AS OPPORTUNITIES TO POUR OUT HIS GRACE AND TO SHOW OTHERS WHO HE IS! I CHOOSE TO PUSH AWAY ALL MY FEARS AND TO BELIEVE THAT GOD IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING MIRACULOUS TO SAVE THE DAY! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Matthew 3:11 - "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire." OH, HOLY SPIRIT....OH, FIRE! THAT SO INTIMATELY AND TENDERLY PENETRATES THE FIBRE AND CORE OF MY SOUL.....CLEANSE ME, BURN IN ME, WITH YOUR PASSION FOR CHRIST! John 5:44 - "How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?" We need to decide if we are going to let all of the previous wounds and disappointments determine who we are, or if we are going to be like Christ, using the Cross to determine who we are, seizing the occasion to die to ourselves and rise above this world and live in resurrection power. We cannot be resurrected unless we have first died. Observation: I KNOW I AM RELATING CORRECTLY TO GOD WHEN MY HUNGER FOR HIS GLORY CAUSES ME TO FORSAKE THE PRAISE OF MEN. 1 John 3:6 - "Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him." Affirmation: I CONFESS I HAVE A NEW NATURE WITH NEW DESIRES! HIS DIVINE SEED IS REPRODUCING GOD'S LIFE IN ME SO THAT EVERY DAY I AM THINKING MORE LIKE GOD, ACTING MORE LIKE GOD, AND POSSESSING LESS TOLERANCE FOR ANY SIN THAT MIGHT STILL BE ACTIVE IN MY LIFE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  5. Matthew 7:5 - "You hypocrite! First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." Observation: Jesus condemned sin. And we condemn sin also, but the sin we must condemn first is the sin of judging others, for it obscures our vision from discerning sin in ourselves. I will never become holy by criticizing others; nor am I brought nearer to God through finding fault. Galatians 5:18-21 - "But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest......which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Affirmation: I CONFESS THAT IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVE, BUT JESUS CHRIST LIVES IN ME! I HAVE WALKED IN THE FLESH LONG ENOUGH; NOW I WALK IN THE SPIRIT. I LET THE HOLY SPIRIT PRODUCE THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST IN ME. John 6: 5,7 - "When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, 'Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?' Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little." Observation: WHEN I GET OUTSIDE OF MYSELF AND BEGIN TO THINK INSIDE THE WORD OF GOD, I GET OUTSIDE OF MY LIMITATIONS AND INTO THE LIMITLESS POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  6. Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven." We empty our souls, and seek to be filled with the attitude of Christ, which is a sure wellspring -- unending, and brimming with life eternal. We count all that the proud flesh desires as worth less than nothing. There is a present urgency and need to present ourselves as being available to become a "place of habitation" for the presence and glory of the Lord, beyond anything that has previously been experienced or seen. According to Paul, God bestows to us strength and power according to the riches of His glory. His glory is abundant, it's bountiful and it's endless. We cannot walk in the fullness of our destiny or calling until we KNOW the strength of God and live daily by the strength of who He is in our inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Philippians 3:8,9 - "I reckon everything as complete loss for the sake of what is so much more valuable, the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have thrown everything away; I consider it all as mere rubbish, so that I might gain Christ and be completely united with Him." Genesis 15:5,6 - "And God brought Abram forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness." Observation: I think about and reflect on the word of God -- pondering a particular scripture and mentally applying it to my own circumstances again and again until that scripture permanently marks my consciousness. As God put vision in Abram through His word, He will also bring up into my consciousness His vision for me. AFFIRMATIONS: I see God in a new way as HE comes to lead me forward -- I feel a stirring in my emotions -- God is knocking on my door -- God is calling me to a new place. The Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW - I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me to press through into this new place. My provision is waiting at the next level. I refuse to sit any long in a low place. Mark 16:15 - And He said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." OBSERVATION: Jesus expects me to invade every sphere where I have influence and to use that influence to share the gospel with the people who live, work and function in those places. I choose this day to invest my time and energy into fulfilling that divine assignment. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Judges 16:21 - "But the Philistines took Samson, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison-house." The same thing happens to a person in whom the enemy appetites reside and triumph. First these appetites weaken and blind, then they afflict and torment by chaining that person to the mill of concupiscence, for they are the chains by which a soul is bound. Genesis 1:26 - "God said, let Us make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts, and over all the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth." It is not satan who defeats us; it is our openness to him. Satan is tolerated for one purpose: the warfare between the devil and God's saints thrusts us into christlikeness, where the nature of Christ becomes our only place of rest and security. God allows warfare to facilitate His eternal plan, which is to make man in His image. It has always been the Lord's intent to have a "people" who would have dominion authority on the earth. The word "dominion" (Hebrew - radah) means to prevail, rule, reign, to tread down." Through Jesus Christ we have been given authority over the enemy and all that he would try to come against us with. The word AUTHORITY means, LEGAL OR RIGHTFUL POWER, A RIGHT TO COMMAND OR ACT. "Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you." - Luke 10:19 1 Peter 1:13 - "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." Plan of Action: TODAY I SEEK TO DEAL WITH THE LOOSE ENDS THAT I'VE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN MY MIND AND EMOTIONS. I MAKE THE DELIBERATE CHOICE TO START SUBMITTING EVERY AREA OF MY MIND AND EMOTIONS TO THE WORD OF GOD AND TO THE SANCTIFYING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. John 1:12 - "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." And so the power to become sons of God does not come from trying with our human will to act in a godly manner. Our new birth comes as we are changed by the inward actions of grace. Proverbs 1:7 - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction". Observation: TO FEAR GOD IS TO LOVE HIM ABOVE ALL ELSE! IT IS THE WILLINGNESS TO OBEY GOD EVEN WHEN IT APPEARS MORE ADVANTAGEOUS FOR ME TO COMPROMISE OR NOT OBEY HIS WORD. Psalm 85:9 - "Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land." Matthew 14:28,29 - "And Peter answered Him and said, 'Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water'. And He said 'Come.' And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Sometimes in our own minds we justify waiting in the boat, not realizing it is just our natural mind wanting to know every detail. Thinking to ourselves, "Well, maybe I ought to just sit in the boat a little bit longer – after all, we want to have wisdom." Do you think Peter did that? No. He got out of the boat of his comfort zone before his natural feelings could jump in to dictate the next step. Observation: BREAKING THE POWER OF NATURAL LAW IN MY LIFE HAPPENS WHEN THE WORD OF GOD UNITES WITH MY MEASURE OF FAITH. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. I have the grace of God which has been given to me by Jesus Christ. In union with Christ I have become rich in all things including all speech and knowledge. - I Corinthians 1:4,5 God, being faithful, has joined me with His Son Jesus Christ. - I Corinthians 1:9 I proclaim Christ -- Christ nailed to the cross -- He is the power of God and the wisdom of God. - 1 Corinthians 1:23,24 By Gods act I am in Christ Jesus, for God has made Him my wisdom; He is my righteousness; in Him I am consecrated and set free. - I Corinthians 1:30 My speech demonstrates the power of God’s Spirit in my life. - I Corinthians 2:4 My faith stands firmly upon God, not on man’s great ideas. - I Corinthians 2:5 By His Spirit, I have received the wisdom of God. - I Corinthians 2:10 God has given me His Spirit, not the worlds spirit. So that I might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts of devine favor and blessings so freely and lavishly bestowed on me by God. - I Corinthians 2:12 Since I live and dwell in the Spirit of God I receive things of the Spirit which the unspiritual man cannot understand. - I Corinthians 2:14 I have the mind of Christ. - I Corinthians 2:16 I am the temple of god and God’s spirit dwells in me. - I Corinthians 3:16 I belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. - 1 Corinthians 3:23 Since I am joined to Christ I am one spirit with Him. - 1 Corinthians 6:17 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Matthew 17:2,3 - "And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus." The word for transfigured in Matthew 17:2 and Mark 9:2 is the same Greek word word for renewal in Romans 12:2. (Strongs 3339) In this transfigured moment- Jesus is the prototype of the glorious church in this moment. Moses was known for AUTHORITY and Elijah for POWER -- these are the two realms that Jesus released over his disciples. This is the proptotype of what will happen with every believer who are to come to power and authority to effect and bring about change. Affirmation: I STEP OUT OF THE BOX CALLED "TIME" AND LIVE IN THE SPIRIT. I LEARN HOW TO HEAR GOD'S VOICE AND LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE. I RISE ABOVE THE PRESSURES OF TIME AND WALK IN THE ETERNAL LIFE OF GOD. Philippians 3:14 - "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Observation: AFTER LEAVING EGYPT, ALL THE EXPERIENCES THAT ISRAEL WENT THROUGH WERE TO PREPARE THEM FOR THE HIGH CALLING OF REPRESENTING THE LORD ON EARTH. I TOO, HAVE BEEN GIVEN THIS HIGHEST OF CALLINGS, AND EVERYTHING I GO THROUGH IS INTENDED TO PREPARE ME FOR IT. Deuteronomy 31:6 - "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." WHAT I KEEP SAYING I EVENTUALLY BELIEVE. Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." ALBERT FINCH MINSITRY
  11. John 15:7 - "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." OBSERVATION: The degree to which I will abide in Him will be determined by the degree to which I behold the power of His resurrection -- the power, glory, and authority that He has NOW. Philippians 3:10,11 - "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." Since the completion of the Cross of Calvary and the "Resurrection Authority with Christ" ultimately triumphing over the enemy and seated at the right hand of God, we now have abundant life forever. We are not given resurrection authority to simply miss Hell and go to Heaven. We have this power dwelling in us to appropriate raising the meaningless, dead existence of the lost into the everlasting vibrant eternal life now on earth as it is in Heaven. Galatians 6:7,9 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." I know that the only thing I'm going to take to heaven is what I give away. Romans 10:17 - "So the faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God." The human spirit can be compared to film in a polaroid camera. I expose it with my voice by speaking God's word -- then I don't give up before the manifestation comes. Ephesians 4:29 - "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Romans 8:11 (NASB) - "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." We have that same Spirit of God, His "Resurrection Power," indwelling within us to transform this earth into God's Kingdom now and for eternity. BUT HOW MUCH AUTHORITY DO WE HAVE When Jesus declared on the Cross, "It is finished," He decreed to the earth and the world of darkness that they had lost. When Jesus arose from the grave, He fulfilled the legal requirements of the law and broke the curse of sin off the earth! Jesus secured everything for the Believer from the Cross of Calvary and the Resurrection from the grave, and satan knows he is powerless to stop God's Kingdom plan. VICTORY THROUGH OUR RESURRECTED SAVIOR Colossians 2:12-15 (NKJV) - " ...[You were] buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us." When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we indeed begin with our restored relationship to not only our Holy God but also our personal, loving Father God. Because of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ, we now enjoy an intimate relationship with a personal, caring Abba Father. As we understand that our spirit is "quickened" by His Spirit we must – as God's design for Kingdom citizens – take dominion and multiply God's Kingdom on this earth as it is in Heaven! That is indeed the Believer's resurrection authority. We have God's DNA, and we have His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, as well as our "big brother" advocating to the Father on our behalf. Our value is so powerful that once Christians realize their potential, all Hell will flee from them. God made us in His own image and gave us authority to multiply God's Kingdom. Understandably, the defeated enemy cannot multiply anything, and our being "made-in-God's-image" should always remind satan of his irrevocable defeat! When satan wanted to take over Heaven, he lost his position, his abode, and his relationship with a Holy God. SLAIN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD After Christ arose from the dead, He actually fulfilled what He already was: Resurrection Authority! That means when the Word states that Christ was "slain from the foundations of the world," He came to this earth realm to manifest what had already been accomplished in the Kingdom of Heaven! Revelation 13:8 (KJV) - " And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship Him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Remember that as Believers in Christ we carry that same abundant, transforming spirit of Jesus to resurrect dead souls into the light and life of Christ! Moreover, Christians should grow in this authority by DISCIPLING new believers into their inheritance in Christ as well as begin resurrecting forgotten prophetic words, sidelined destinies, dead dreams, shattered relationships, and complete wholeness in every area of our lives! We can now demonstrate that power to transform things that have not been fulfilled into completion by the quickened Spirit of Resurrection authority deposited into us through Jesus Christ! There is no limit to this abiding Resurrection Spirit within every Believer! John 10:10 (NASB) - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." The Celebration of Resurrection reminds us to embrace our personal "resurrection spirit" to raise the dead! Christians must now use their resurrection authority to raise souls of this earth back from spiritual atrophy and the dead sins that have blinded hopeless lives for too long! JESUS IS AN APPROACHABLE, TOUCHABLE RESURRECTION WITNESSS The best gift to others is a lost life resurrected into eternal relationship with a loving Father. Now, that is truly "raising the dead" lives from the enemy's grip into a living, eternal life now, and having it more abundantly! When We Receive Jesus, We Receive The Resurrection And The Life! John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies..." Because Jesus is our Risen Savior, we now have that same Resurrection Spirit living within each of us! We will indeed do as Christ instructed to "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give" - (Matthew 10:8). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." If the Holy Spirit can make a glorious creation out of the most desolate place, He can bring forth a glorious new creation out of the most desolate, confused, and empty life. 1 Corinthians 1:2 - "To all who are called to be God's holy people, who belong to Him in union with Jesus Christ, together with all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours." Affirmations: I REALIZE THAT I AM GOD'S CHILD AND HAVE THE POWER OF ATTORNEY TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS AND HAVE EVERYTHING THE WORD SAYS I CAN HAVE. I HAVE CONFIDENCE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I'M NOT SPEAKING MY OWN WORDS, I AM SPEAKING GOD'S WORD AND IT WILL COME TO PASS. Ephesians 2:19 - "Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God". Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Affirmation: MY PRESENT FOCUS DETERMINES MY PRESENT JOY. Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. Mark 11:22,23 - "And Jesus answering saith unto them, 'Have faith in God. For verily I SAY unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall BELIEVE that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass: he shall have whatsoever he SAITH.'" Faith operates by believing and saying...and saying.....and saying. Affirmation: IT IS MY CONFESSION, OR WORDS OF FAITH, THAT BRINGS POSSESSION. Matthew 13;37 - "For by thy words thou shalt be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Acts 16;25,26 - "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." Paul and Silas chose not to focus on what they were going through; they chose to focus on what was happening through them. God's faithfulness is triggered by our faith, while praise brings us into His presence. When we praise God, He raises us out of our situation. When we find ourselves in trouble, we use praise as a key to unlock the "prison doors" of our circumstances. No matter what is going on in our life -- we fill our mouth with the high praises of God! 2 Timothy 2:24,26 - "And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." Anything broken can be repaired; anything closed can be opened; anything lost can be recovered. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Matthew 18:18-19 “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. 19“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." (Two of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare are binding and loosing, or forbidding and permitting. Binding stops the enemy’s attacks, loosing releases or permits God’s will to enter the situation because God has willed that His purposes be carried out by asking in prayer.) Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it willeat its fruit." (Binding and loosing is in the power of the tongue.) Jeremiah 1:10 "See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant." (It is our destiny to have authority.) Luke 19:46 "Saying unto them, 'It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.'" (Jesus bound or spoke the word of God over the temple and re-established it as a house of prayer again.) Matthew 4:3-11 And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”5Then the devil took* Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, 6and said* to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You’; And ‘On their hands they will bear You up, So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’” 7Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8Again, the devil took* Him to a very high mountain and showed* Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10Then Jesus said* to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” 11Then the devil left* Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him. (Jesus spoke the word of God over and over against the enemy until Satan was so weakened that his power to tempt Jesus was broken. Example of verbage to bind satan (in a case where there is strife and bickering in a situation in the body of Christ) : “Satan, according to the word of God I forbid you to cause any more strife in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! For it is written ‘Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!’” Psalm 133:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  16. God which has begun a good work in me, will carry it on completion until the day of Jesus Christ. - Philippians 1:6 I am filled with the fruits of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. -Philippians 1:11 I have the mind of Christ Jesus. - Philippians 2:5 God is always at work in me to make me willing and able to obey His own purpose. -Philippians 2:13 I worship God in the Spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in anything external. - Philippians 3:3 I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and be found in Him. - Philippians 3:8,9 I am completely united with Christ, no longer counting on being saved by being good enough or by obeying God’s laws, but by trusting Christ to save me: for Gods way of making me right with Himself depends on faith - counting on Christ alone. - Philippians 3:9 I know Christ and the power of His resurection and the fellowship of His sufferings. - Philippians 3:10 I forget what lies behind and reach forward to what lies ahead. - Philippians 3:13 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.- Philippians 3:14 The peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep my thoughts and my heart quiet and at rest as I trust in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13 God will supply all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. Philippians 1:28 - "Don't be afraid of your enemies; always be corageous, and this will prove to them that they will lose, and that you will win because it is God who gives you the victory." Peace is Spirit power. Your peace, your immovable stand upon the Word of God is a sign that you are positioned correctly in perfect submission to the will of God. The very fact that you are not frightened by your adversary is a sign that you have authority over him. Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT, IT IS THE ABSENCE OF INNER CONFLICT. Romans 8:6 - "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Galatians 5:22 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith" UNDERSTANDING OUR SPECIFIC CALLING Ephesians 1:4 - "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love." MAN IS CALLED TO REST IN GOD, BUT WE MUST ALSO LABOR WITH GOD. IN THIS LABOR, WE MUST FIND WHAT HE CREATED US TO DO. Man is called to rest in God, but we must also labor with God. In this labor, we must find what He created us to do. God who is so particular and specific knew what He was creating us for before the world was even created. We each have a very specific job to do -- a very specific CALLING. We will never know a true peace and fulfillment in our hearts until we are doing our CALLING in Christ. THE PEACE OF CHRIST IN OUR SPIRIT IS OUR GUIDE Colossians 3:15 - "And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from the Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts to which as members of Christs one body you were also called to live. And be thankful, giving praise to God always." If we are irritated and upset about things in our life it is very hard to receive quiet guidance from the Holy Spirit. Sometimes a certain action is in question; so we let the peace of Christ be our guide. Through the subtle inward witness of the Holy Spirit He guides us to the action we need to take. Revelation 4:6 - "And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal." The source of God's Peace is God Himself. The glass sea is a symbol: there are no ripples, no waves, no anxieties troubling God. The Lord is never worried never in a hurry nor without an answer. The sea around Him is perfectly still and totally calm. All our victories flow out from being seated here with Him. 2 Peter 3:14 - "With this to look forward to, do your utmost to be found at peace with Him, unblemished and above reproach in his sight." CHALLENGED AND CHANGED We want a peace that temporarily comforts and coddles because we do not like to be challenged or changed. The peace that flows into us from the Lord satisfies the soul with full assurance that He is still for us, even as we are being taken through fire -- in which we can be changed into His likeness. 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord." Galatians 5:16 - "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh." Affirmations: I AM DEVELOPING MY OWN HUMAN SPIRIT, AND I AM BECOMING MORE SENSITIVE TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD. I HAVE ACCEPTED THE CALL OF GOD TO LEAVE THE LOW LIFE BEHIND, AND I AM FOLLOWING THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO A HIGHER REALM, WHERE I WILL LIVE IN CONTINUAL PEACE, JOY, AND VICTORY. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  18. Four Kinds of Power – Exousia: Anointing of Authority (Read Mark 16 & Matthew 10:5-15) Matthew 28:18 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (Jesus has been given all authority by the Father, in heaven and on earth.) Matthew 10:1 1Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. (During His ministry and before Pentecost Jesus gave the disciples, “power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and to heal all diseases.” Here He gave them “Exosia” power, which means He gave them “the authority and the right.” The Greek word speaks of the commissioning and the influence to do the works of the kingdom.) Mark 16:15 15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (We are commissioned to do the works of Jesus. Many Christians today do not move in miracles, signs and wonders because they are waiting for“Dunamis”miracle power. Dunamis won’t come, however, until we are faithful with the Exosia authority and until we invest the time that we have and expecting the signs God wants to give us.) Luke 10:19 - “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Mark 16:17-18 17“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (He promised that we would see signs follow our lives, that we would cast out demons, trample on scorpions and serpents, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead.) Luke 10:1-3 1Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. 2And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. 3“Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves." (Jesus first gave the disciples power (Exosia authority) in His name.) Luke 10:17 17The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” (When the disciples went out with the anointing of Exosia they were amazed that even the demons were subject to them. When the disciples first received the Exosia power or authority to take the gospel to the world with signs and wonders, all they had was faith that they could do what Jesus promised they could do. There was not Dunamis with that authority. At Pentecost, however, they received the mighty outpouring of Dunamis power.) Summary: Most believers have not seen a release of greater authority in their lives because they have not done anything with the authority and power God has already given to them. God always rewards our exercise of authority. He always blesses, as we are faithful to invest. Our authority and anointing will increase as we contend and pray for people. We must keep praying for them until we see great things. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: Do I want healings? Do I want miracles, signs and wonders? Do I want to see the supernatural manifested? Then I need to make room for the Holy Spirit to come, in power, by exercising the authority Jesus has given me. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  20. Four Kinds of Power – Dunamis Miracle Anointing (Read Acts 1 & 2) 1 Corinthians 1:18; 4:20 18For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 20For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power. 2 Corinthians 4:7 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; (The anointing we call “Dunamis” comes from the New Testament Greek word that describes a special kind of explosive power from God. Dunamis means dynamic, miraculous power, might, magnitude, violence, mighty work, great power, abundance, great strength, great virtue and to do the impossible.) Revelation 4:5 5Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; (Dunamis is exuberant! It’s bold, experience oriented. It is the manifestation of God’s lightening.) Luke 24:49 - "And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Acts 1:8 8but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” (It is about pressing in for miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came upon them and gave them Dunamis power. After the disciples waited ten days the Holy Spirit came. They had a “Dunamis” encounter, and the New testament church was birthed.) Luke 4:14; 4:36; 5:17 14And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district. 36And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.” 17One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing. (This supernatural endowment involves preaching and teaching the gospel and “healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”) Acts 4:31,33 31And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. 33And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. (“And they spoke the word of God with boldness”. It was right after this encounter with the Holy Spirit that “with great power (Dunamis) the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus." Summary: The miracle anointing is “Dunamis power”: When we have the anointing for miracles, at any time we can say who wants to be healed? Let’s release our Dunamis power. It’s not about us, it’s about Jesus’ miracle anointing (The Hebrew word “MASHACH” for anointing means rubbing or smearing with oil to consecrate someone. It’s also the word “SHEMEN”, which is the “burden removing yoke destroying” power of God.) In Ephesians 5:18 the apostle Paul told believers “do not be drunk with wine in which is dissipation but be filled with the Spirit.” So what does it mean to be filled? We’re talking about a constant encounter of Dunamis power. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  21. What is the extent of our authority in Christ -- or do we have any authority?
  22. Revelation 3:7 - "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens." TAKING HOLD OF THE KEY OF DAVID The key of David is entering into the most holy place where the glory dwells. The tangible presence and glory of God is accessed through intimate Throne Room worship. Jesus paid the price and shed His Blood so that we could enter in to the holiest of all through Him (Hebrews 10:19-22) Colossians 1:27 - "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." We must enter the "Throne Zone" in order to see the tangible glory of God manifested in our midst. It is in that place that we find the glory and anointing needed to transform atmospheres on earth. We are called to be carriers of His glory. By laying hold of the KEY OF DAVID, we lay hold of the glory of His Spirit allowing Him to manifest in us and through us. It is all about having a throne room paradigm. This is the proper perspective for believers. SEEING FROM THE HEAVENLY PERSPECTIVE Ephesians 2:5,6 - "Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." We are not to see things from an earthly vantage point but from a Heavenly perspective. It is there that we are seated in the Heavenly places ablove all demonic forces. As we take hold of this key of worship in the glory, we move into deeper realms of intimacy with God, greater revelation and understanding of His divine purposes, and we have the anointing to establish and plant His Kingdom in the earth. Psalm 18:33 - "He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places." The Lord is calling us up higher. When God begins to manifest His glory, we need to make sure that we don't try to pitch tents and build debasing structures. Jesus was transfigured before the eyes of Peter, James and John. Peter suggested tents be build, but this was not the heart of God. When man sees the glory, there is the fleshly reaction to capitalize on what God is doing--building earthly structures, etc. NEW WINESKIN THINKING Mark 2:22 - "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins." If we are to partake in what God is pouring out in this hour, we must have a new mindset--a new wineskin ie. we don't lean on our own understanding. Leaning on natural thinking and old ways are like crusty and stiff wineskins. These mindsets cannot carry the new wine of God's glory that is being poured out. WE SHOULD HOLD TRUE TO THE WORD, BUT REMAIN FLEXIBLE IN REGARDS TO HOW THINGS SHOULD LOOK IN REGARDS TO THE MOVING OF GOD'S SPIRIT. 1 Corinthians 2:11 - "For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God." As believers we need to set our natural thinking aside, and ask the Lord to help us see with the eyes of His Spirit. The natural man cannot understand the ways of the Spirit. But our spirit within us is created to see and understand His ways. We commit ourselves to see with the eyes of our hearts and allow God to blow our minds with His limitless power! Affirmations: NOW IS THE TIME FOR ME TO MOVE INTO GLORY REALM WORSHIP. I APPREHEND THAT TANGIBLE GLORY OF GOD IN MY LIFE AND SETTLE FOR NOTHING LESS! MY MISSION IS TO CARRY HIS GLORY AND RELEASE IT. I AM DRAWN TO HIS HEART BY THE TRUE RICHES OF HIS PRESENCE. I CRAVE INTIMACY WITH THE LORD. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  23. Romans 4:17 - "Even God who quickeneth the dead, and called those things which be not as though they were." Many people know what it means to have "common sense", which is sound, practical judgment. "Christian sense", on the other hand, involves seeing adverse circumstances through the eyes of faith and exercising your God-given authority to change those circumstances. Jesus taught His disciples how to change negative circumstances. The Bible tells us that He cursed a fig tree with words and with 24 hours it dried up from its roots (Mark 11:12-14; 20,21). In verses 22 and 23, Jesus explains how to achieve these kinds of results. In today's language He would probably say, "Have the God-kind of faith. Declare what God's Word says about your circumstances, no matter how great they are, and then expect results." Mark 11:22-24 - And Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours." Affirmations: THERE IS NO ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCE IN MY LIFE THAT I CANNOT OVERCOME WITH THE GOD-KIND OF FAITH. WHEN MY WORLD IS OUT OF ALLIGNMENT I CAN GET IT BACK INTO ALLIGNMENT. ALBERT FINCH MINSITRY
  24. As followers of Christ we are to be bold, brave, and extremely courageous. Scripture declares in the book of Joshua: "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:8–9, NASB The last phrase contains an overwhelming promise -- the abiding presence of God. Keep this promise in the center of your heart: "...for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go!" This promise is repeated throughout Scripture and is the foundation of the promise in 1 John 4:4: "Greater is He [God] that is in you, than he that is in the world." Our God is truly an awesome God! Prepare to behold Him in a manner not seen in our lifetime. God is at this time responding to the invitation of Isaiah 64:1, "Rend the heavens and come down." The time has come for the true conquest. The question is: Are you ready? THE CONQUEST The conquest – the act of conquering – has commenced. This is the main event. It is not time to hold back. Now is the time to give your all to the Kingdom of God. It is time to ARISE and ADVANCE. With a spirit of excellence, you must be giving everything for the sake of advancing the cause of Jesus Christ. True Christianity is more about what we do than what we say (see 1 Corinthians 4:20). It is time for action not just mere words. You are equipped to function in boldness and true authority (see Luke 10:19). You have been given an anointing in what God has PURPOSED FOR YOU -- an unction to function, which is unstoppable; with Christ you are invincible. You are more than a conquer (see Romans 8:37). Not only has Almighty God called us to be brave and courageous, He has commissioned us for these important days. We need to be prepared for conquest that brings about a swift and sure change. God's plan for His people is the plan of victory, not defeat (see Jeremiah 29:11). CALLED AND COMMISSIONED You are called and commissioned to be a radical overcomer. Begin to speak these promises over your life: Joel 3:10 - "Let the weak say I am strong". Micah 3:8, "...truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord!" Deep within the soul of every true Christian beats the heart of an overcomer. The word "overcomer" suggests victory after a hard struggle. We are to be strong, willing warriors. Never forget we are fighting from victory not for victory. Christ has won the victory; we just move into what He has provided. Now is the time for the troops of the Lord to volunteer willingly (see Psalm 110:3). We are to become history makers and world changers. God has determined the exact time of our birth. Truly we are in the Kingdom for such a time as this (seeEsther 4:14). Never forget: the Kingdom is in you for such a time as this. You had absolutely nothing to do with the timing of your birth. It's God's plan. Looking forward to this day, He determined that you would be a great tool in His hands to fashion the Kingdom of God. DECISIVE DAYS OF DESTINY God has confidence in you. It is He working in you, both to will and to do His good pleasure (see Philippians 2:13). In Luke 12:32 the Father's good pleasure is to give us the power of His Kingdom. These are decisive days of destiny. God is calling each of us to arise and take hold of our CALLING in Christ Jesus to advance in His PURPOSE for our life. Yield yourself anew and afresh to God's Holy Spirit, be filled with power and purpose, and determine to make the most of these days of transition from glory to glory. Live to hear HIM say, "Well done good and faithful servant!" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. "And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on them that were diseased."John 6:2 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food. But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. YOU give them something to eat." Matthew 14:15-16 FIVE LOAVES AND TWO FISHES Philip would have sent these to the fast-food restaurant in the next village. Andrew remarked about a "lad" who had some food, but he only had "five loaves and two fishes." Jesus had told the disciples to feed all who were hungry. Immediately, these disciples began to express the reasons why they were unable to do so, saying that they did not have adequate resources. It is very important to recognize that Jesus already knew that they did not have the means to feed this multitude. "And this He said to prove him: for He Himself knew what He would do." John 6:6 The Lord often asks us to go beyond our abilities. Our usual response is to express our limitations, not realizing that Jesus is asking us to place our limited ability in His hand, so He can multiply it. Therefore, concerning these five loaves and two fishes, Jesus said: "Bring them here to Me." Matthew 14:18 Once the limited resources of the disciples were placed in His hands, Jesus multiplied them, and the multitude was fed to the full. A HIGHER REALM OF IDENTIFICATION WITH HIM This was perhaps the best meal this multitude had ever eaten. But several hours later, they were back asking for a repeat performance. Jesus refused and brought a word of correction. He told them to seek their satisfaction on an HIGHER LEVEL. Then Jesus offered His very life for them to partake of: "I am the living bread which came down from Heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." John 6:51 They had gladly received the miracle of multiplication on the lower level of experience, but rejected the higher realm of identification with Him. "The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us His flesh to eat?" John 6:52 If we are perceptive, we will discover that this spiritual principle is in operation in our lives at this present time. Whenever the Lord moves on us in any measure of provision or healing, it is His intention to take us further, into a higher realm of identification with Him. Jesus was looking forward to the time when He would stand at the door of our heart, knocking, in order to gain entrance that He might sup with us, and we in turn with Him, in which we partake of His very life and blood. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me."Revelation 3:20 PARTAKING OF HIS LIFE When He fed the multitude on the lower level, they sought to take Him by force to make Him their King. But on the higher level, they rejected Him. Therefore, Jesus stands alone at the door, speaking to whomever will respond (if anyone hears). Today, all too many Christians are satisfied to remain in the first area of spiritual blessing and provision, and are not seeking to enter into a personal relationship with the Lord, to discover His CALLING on their life. There is a depth in spiritual revelation and understanding into which the Lord desires to bring us, which involves a partaking of His very life (our DESTINY in Christ). This will bring us into an identity with Jesus in the "fellowship of His sufferings," which refers to His (and our) being rejected and misunderstood, but leads to a depth of satisfaction and fulfillment that only those who partake can understand God's PURPOSE for their life. "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death." Philippians 3:10 EATING HIS FLESH There are many who will respond when the blessings are flowing, but when it comes time to "eat His flesh," (PARTAKE OF HIS LIFE) they say, "This is a hard saying, who can hear it?" and they disappear. The Lord is speaking of our partaking of the foundational characteristic of His life – that of His ministry and giving His life for another. Many will receive the blessings that He offers, but few will identify with His sufferings. The purpose of this revelation of Jesus to us, as being a person with feelings, is to bring us into the experience of personally knowing Him, that we might be able to identify with Him in the giving of His life to others. In this last hour, the Lord is yet seeking those who are willing to go beyond the surface blessings, to enter into the place of identification with Him in the "fellowship of His sufferings." Here, in intimate, deep communion with Jesus, we will begin to partake of an intercessory identification with Him, in which His life can now be lived and made known through our lives.
