1 Corinthians 13

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails.

We need all the help we can get around here, Trinity. Forgive them and let it go.

The truth will win out in the end. :il:

Trinity,

If things get stressful, and it builds, then that is the time you need to take this to God, have quality time with the Lord. Let Him refresh you in spirit. We all need to do that now and then. In these times, the enemy will do all he can to hurt us, to upset us. Dont let him win.

Well trinity, May God continue to move within you, and all of us to do His will. I care for you, and desire only good things. I hope I have not hurt you in any way, God bless.

I feel akward speaking to a person I do not know, on a subject matter I know nothing about, on a board I am new to. Thus, please forgive my ignorance.

Sometimes we need to stick it out, no matter how bad people are. It's a valuable lesson in life that people wil always seek to make you fail. I had a professor one time who sought to make me fail. He won. That has been one of the biggest regrets of my life. When people are like that, we need to stick it out and fight to the end. We need to show them love and compassion but at the same time be stern and show them that you will not tolerate such actions.

I hope this helps you in your choice, as well as in life.

Trinity, you need to stay. I've read a lot of your posts and I think you've got a lot to offer and I hope you reconsider and stay.

There are some who will be mean-spirited on here and at times, things can get heated in a discussion, then things are said that shouldn't be said, but I can't encourage you enough to stick around and keep trying and NO, you're not being extra sensitive like someone pointed out to you. That statement doesn't fly, because anyone who says that has never posted in controversial issues or gotten into any of the politcal debates, so please shrug that suggestion off, cause things ARE said at times that are hurtful even to those with thick skin.

Please stick around. I think your posts are great and I really hope you will reconsider and stay.

Many blessings to you,

Kat

Are you the same Trinity that comes into chat???

If so I love you!!! You are so awesome!!!!! You always have valuable stuff to say, you are funny, and I like seeing ya in there. Maybe it is your avatar that through me off, I didn't recognize you.

seriously though! Don't leave!!! I have been tempted myself to leave. but as you stay people become like your family. It doesn't matter if there is a debate, or an attack, we forgive and continue to love. LOL and you know how there are some relatives that you love but you can't stand.........that aunt with the hairy beard, or that coniving cousin..........well, all families have those members. And here too you have some!!!! It is hard and sometimes it hurts alot. But God has you here for a reason!

Be blessed, and renewed.

trinity, we have ALL experienced what you're going through... not with the same people, but each of us has one or two individuals on the board that we clash with... and yes, there's often a good deal of meanness going on.

but please don't leave because of it. trust me, the majority of individuals knows exactly what's really going on, because we've all been in your shoes.

i don't even know who it is you're having problems with (and don't want to know!)... but those who DO know are generally not going to take sides. they're just going to recognize it for what it is... and then form their opinion of you based on how you interact with each of them personally.

Trinity -

I've felt like leaving on the account of one or two posters at times myself. But then I'd remember the people on the Board I've developed good relations with, and I realized I missed them.

Consider, are you leaving on account of one bad apple? We're a diverse group theology-wise (denominational differences) and maturity-wise. Some debates are guarenteed hot spots, and tend to eventually warrent deletion because people lose control of their temper. Then there are those who preach heretical stuff - and that gets crazy!

I don't know what stance you've taken that you've been attacked on by whom - but, well - welcome to the human race? :)

(My poor attempt at putting perspective on things through humor.)

Anyway, the bottom line of my 2 cents is that you'll find people that disagree with you - and can get mean about it - anywhere you go. What you need to consider is are you going to base your associations on a few meanies or a few friends?

Hope that makes sense - and if I'm ever on the other side of a debate from you, I give you full permission to rebuke me if I become a jerk in my defense - OK?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
