Yankee, Our issue is not the people coming over. Our issue is with ILLEGAL Aliens. My wife is a legal resident, from Norway, she has a green card. I do not mind any one here legally. The issue is with illegals that come over and do not follow the laws, pay taxes, or even pay for health care. Not to mention the Drug cartels and lord that are killing and raping innocents. Also biblical culture is not biblical law. Invaders of any sort are unwelcome. Many of these some with some sense of invasion. I have had illegals tell me that Mexico was better and the United States, and we should all speak Spanish. An invader mindset is unwelcome. A visitor, or even an immigrant is welcome with open arms, as long as they follow the laws of the land. I think this would have been the same in bible times as well.

I understand that but who says they are Illegal Us or God ?

We say they're illegal and God has commandments against stealing, coveting your neighbor's property, killing and lying. Think about the trespassers that sneak over the border and then think about those commandments. Does anything strike you?

Sorry Yankee - I think you are missing home plate here... They are God's children as we all are - but they are breaking the law if they are not in this country abiding by the laws of the country. If they participate in state and federal programs using illegal documents and receive money from the U.S. Taxpayers - they are not being honest, that is stealing (God doesn't look too kindly on that). More than anything - illegal entry into our nation creates a risk to the safety and stability of our country. All illegals are not here with a desire to work at Pizza Hut and clean hotel rooms or work in the fields... many of these illegal aliens have formed networks of means to get access to the nation to traffic drugs and human beings - that is breaking our law and further endangering not only Americans, but those who are being held in human bondage. So - they are breaking our laws. If they want to be law-abiding taxpayers - they need to take the legal steps to do that. If they don't - they need to return to their own countries.

By the way - Welcome to the Forum.

Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does

Because the folks that are pushing open borders are trying to set up the North American Union, by combining Canada, Mexico and the US into a three state mega nation of sorts. They want open economies, borders and if possible a single currency. At least that's what they wrote about in the early seventies when the push for this started in earnist..

If 'they' wrote about this 40 years ago......what became of it? :noidea:

NAFTA

GAT

Let unsafe Mexican trucks drive on our roads

and all along not inforcing our borders.

They are still trying to find a way to do their fancy highways across the USA from Mexico to Canada. This is to bypass the ports in California where unionized labor run the costs of importing up.

Just something that they have slowly done in the background.

We do, We also say speeding is illegal, we say that certain drugs, are illegal, we also say that passing over a double yellow is illegal, we say a lot of things are illegal that are not biblical, is this wrong?

How about not paying your taxes? How about not paying your medical bills, is this okay by the Lord? These things are common among the "Innocent" illegals who are not committing other crime.

Also many do not pay taxes yet take advantage of tax paid programs. One friend's of mines daughter said this " I wish I was Mexican so I could get free lunch too" so taking something, that they did not pay for, is this not stealing!

Lets not forget that the innocent people who want to work over here that put themselves in grave danger when the are illegal, They are either paid lower wages, or even taxed using a false social, and not getting any of that back, they are often treated as slave labor. Employers do not have to pay for their workmen's comp, nor do they have to pay extra for safety products. Also undocumented people are higher targets of rape and abduction, as many fear going to the police.

So yes we make the laws. They are not necessarily wrong.

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!

Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt!!!!! (Hint: they're against showing I.D. because THEY have something to hide!)

Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does (Especially Mexico!)?

Go ARIZONA !!!

They want open economies, borders and if possible a single currency. At least that's what they wrote about in the early seventies when the push for this started in earnest..

The push to which you refer began about 1973 or later...right after the publishing of the Humanist Manifesto 2. I don't believe in coincidence. If you read the HM2, you will see that it is in fact the source of many of the laws and treaties which have been popping up in the world since that time period. Interestingly enough, Roe v Wade was also decided in 1973. There IS a connection.

The Constitution's Fourth Amendment tells us:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

2. Making purchases on a department store credit card.

3. When showing up for a doctor's appointment.

4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.

6. When applying for any kind of insurance.

7. When filling out college applications.

10. When making some debit purchases, especially out of state.

11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

Are all violations of the Fourth Amendment. The agencies and entities requesting the information have no right to it. It smacks of 'papieren bitte'* circa 1933.

*papieren bitte: the Nazi bureauocracy's demand for identification to German citizens during the 12 years of the Nazi regime 1933-1945; the phrase means 'papers please.'

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
