What's interesting is, my husband has been provided the opportunity to preach more now that we are "outside" the corporate church, than he was able to within our own church. They didn't like the message of Truth, it stepped on toes too much.

Our own pastor won't license him, but our retired associate pastor will. Yet our own pastor thought enough of him to ordain him as head deacon in our church? Go figure? So, as an unlicensed pastor, our God has opened many doors to preach now. If God says so, He will make a way!!!

He's an Awesome God!

In His Love,

Dear Jamie,

I tried to listen to it, but it wouldn't ever download? I don't know if my connection is just too slow, or if it is just an extremely big download? I'll try again later though, because I REALLY want to hear it.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Suzanne,

This is one of the worst things to happen.

It all starts with a subtle hint of a change. Maybe a guest speaker of some sort, some new literature left on the table, etc.

Soon, the Bible changes to some weird version. Next come the bake sales, the car washes, the money making schemes.

Along comes the Pastor that changes his tune.

Compromise dictates the sermons. The all-encompassing urge to please everybody to pump up the numbers.

Soon, the dress standards fall. Then comes the music.

Before you know it, the whole church has changed. You look around to find your old friends, but they have already left.

A sad story of compromise. It leaves the soul empty, and the church hollow.

t.

It becomes increasingly difficult for well-meaning Christians who support the church growth movement to taste the poison in the candy they consume after having acquired such a sweet tooth for it through habitual exposure and indulgence.

This is a quote from Paul Proctor's story.

There has been a lot of changes in the gospel receipe that Jesus taught, and when we eliminate and substitute ingredients with out caring what Jesus actually taught, why should we be surprised when the results are no longer resembling a biblical cake?

(Hosea 7:6 KJV) For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

(Hosea 7:7 KJV) They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

(Hosea 7:8 KJV) Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

(Hosea 7:9 KJV) Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

(Hosea 7:10 KJV) And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

When God's seperated people mix themselves with the world again, the mixture is not really Christian, but a terrible perversion.

I just want to tell everyone who has posted here that it has done my heart good to see how God is using each of you. I stand in awe of Him and His leading us by His Spirit into all truth and rightousness.

Just remember, not everyone is going to hear His plea to come out.But we must stick to the truth no matter what. I have heard more people say the same things quoted here on this board.

House fellowships are definately flourishing at this time.

Tsth, You mentioned God leading you and your husband to the wilderness. I believe it. Thats where He led me and my husband. That is were we totally depend on Him for everything. That is where He has been teaching us His ways. This is where we get with Him and Him alone.

And there are going to be those coming out from among these churches who are going to need you guys. Hang in there. God is working among many nameless (not famous) people to do His will in these last days. The true prophets are the ones who will be outside the 4 walls of dry and disobediant churches calling all to repentance. Just like John the Baptist did preparing the way for Jesus.

Here are some comforting Words that we have received:

Jeremiah 2:2 "Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying, 'Thus says the Lord: "I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.

Isaiah 40:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

In His Love,

Suzanne

I disagree about it leading to a world religion, I don't think that one will have anything to do with my Jesus.

You are correct about Jesus not being in the global religon, but this is a step to get there.

Not many people will leave the First Baptist Church to join the New World Religon, but once you have made the trip to the new watered down Jesus churches that step is not only easier, it will look like a normal transition.

This process is taking place all over the world in religon, politics and business. Just a sure sign of the end being near.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
