The Holy Spirit was sent into the world to lead and guide us into all truth. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. The Holy Spirit leads and guides giving direction in the way we should go as a righteous man's steps are ordered by the Lord. For this work I gives thanks. When I need encouragent the Holy Spirit will encourage me. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. When I need comfort the Holy Spirit comforts me. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. In times of trouble the Holy Spirit will bring me out. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. The gifts of the Spirit bring edification to me as they are used such as a word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discerning of spirits and they give warning to things that are lying await up ahead of me. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. The Holy Spirit builds up when the enemy tares down. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. In prayers the Holy Spirit makes his prescence known and I have assurance my prayers are being heard. For this work of the Spirit I give thanks. There are so many things the Holy Spirit does in our lives we do not even recongnize as he is there in our lives just a whisper away. For all the works of the Spirit in my life that I don't recongnize I give thanks for even those times.

There is a thought of intensity here that will humble the heart:

Our Father has taught by The Words of The Son that He, The Father~Son~Spirit, are without end in ability: in will, power, desire, purpose, in all that is truth and can be thought... without limits. This so that we understand the nature of eternity and we rest in the moment with the expectation of Him bringing wonder upon wonder that in the Awe of His Person we worship Him in Truth of what 'IS' His Witness of Himself for there is no beyond Him!

.....Now take the witness of the Creation: lightening, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, the hottest place on earth and the coldest, ----- and ----- put them next to a dandelion, a baby of any kind, snow flake, mist of rain upon the face, wisp of air, a warm clutching ray of sun, the fullness of the moon upon the still of water... Now take away the body and it's worries of suffering and death and rejoin yourself to the witness above-> does not the harsh become as the gentle and the wonder of witness the same-> for these are the beginning witness of THE->Who Our Lord in His Being The Godhead 'IS' Rom 1 >>>> Now all of this ->to realize His Presence in you 'The Third Member of the One God 'The Holy Spirit' within you...

then to realize that we in the force of ourselves can rule our own selves by pride and quench His Precious Leading! At His disposal is the extremes of His Created witness of Himself - the harsh/the gentle of creation as a rod and a staff to keep you in His green pastures! We see this teaching clearly in the Cave of Elijah 1Kings 19:11-18 and that, if God wishes, He 'IS' not in them and becoming a witness apart from Him to Him! So that His approach can only be recognized by Spirit and His Word same... His Greatness can come to us in any form that is Pleasing to Him at the time and His Spirit will be the revelation of His Presence always in us!

.....To understand His role as our very own possession in the realization of Who He 'IS' ... is to be drawn to our Husband Christ Jesus... My prayer for us all in these the last days is for us to draw near even in the pain and lack of creature comforts to His Precious appointment to draw us in LOVE to God The Father, The Son by His Own Natural place as The Godhead of eternity... Jn 17...

Love, Steven

We should always be one with Him. We cannot imagine what He has in store for us, for it is beyond our imagination. That is a beautiful subject to discuss, but not the question that I am asking. Maybe I asked using incorrect sentence structure or wrong words, maybe for some they never witnessed what I have, and for the others, they don't think about it at all. Still, I do and was wondering if others do also?

All worship, be it to God or to one of the Trinity, goes back to God. I was just wondering why the Holy Spirit is not praised or thanked much in public worship, or for some, in private worship also. This is not a question to point fingers or bring guilt, but raise the question within each of us. Is it important? No, it is not. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to point back to Christ. Yet, do we thank Him for being there for us? That's all.

I think the real question is what did the original languages of Hebrew and Greek mean when they use the word translated "god".

I think we have put our own definitions of the words translated "god" to their thoughts, and I don't think they are the same and in doing so we pervert scripture.

The God of the Bible is He who is, the Mighty One, Lord, master, the object of worship.

Eleanor, the bible uses the same word when speaking of Jesus, the Father or any of the other pagan gods. Both Hebrew and Greek are speaking of a status of deity when using that word. It even tells us that there are many gods and use that same word. We simply capitalize the word when the context is speaking of one of the three that we call the trinity.

God to the ancient Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic writers is any entity or object that one bows down to and worships. It is that things that one puts above his own existance..... some people's god is gold, some are entities that are non human, or even inanimate objects..... some even make themselves their god. I think it was Satan that first brought the self godship up to folks.

So each of us have our own defination of what our god is..... and as the Bible says, for us there is one God and that's the Father; and one Lord that's Jesus. But I have acquaintances who's god is either mother earth or in some instances Pan. Some of my ancestors had the great spirit as their God and in rare instances I have other friends who's god is Pagan or Satan himself. Some would call him Lucifer.

My point being that the word "god" itself is different to different people and different cultures and when we impose our defination of the word onto the reading of others writings, we may not get the real meaning of what they are trying to tell us.

I personally see that in how a lot of people discuss the Bible itself.

Amen we need His Spirit to help us overcome! YHWH, Elohim, Adonai, or even satan its the authority and power in the name that matters. When we know about God and mock His Spirit or His authority thats when we truly blasphem His name I think.

Why say, "...even satan"??? :noidea:

Its about who we call upon, the name we call upon who has authority over us. Certainly you can see where many do call upon satans name each and everyday instead of Gods. There is more to Him than a name, when we call upon Him we are calling upon He authority over us, His will instead of ours. A name is more than a name espeically when it comes to our Creator and Savior.

Mizz, what you write here is far far more reality than most people realize...

It just seems weird listing the names of God and then hanging Satan at the end of it. Try Jesus or Yeshua, whose name we have as our authority.

Now, that's reality.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
