My point is that we cannot avoid it, we are in it constantly. It's up to each of us to take up our own cross in following Christ.

Blessings

Ok, thanks for clarifying. As far as reading our bible and praying I agree, a person wouldn't be growing much if they are never fed, nor can you have a relationship with someone you never talk to. What I was alluding to is an attempt to go beyond this, which many do. Personally I think it's ill advised, the bible is full of warnings when it comes to dabbling with spiritists and mediums. Demons are not flesh and blood, yet I have heard people talk about chasing them with knives. We can't destroy them, we can't even harm them, but they can inflict a great deal of harm on us, you really don't want to be in the crosshairs.

Ok, so the subject of warfare is very popular amongst us as believers but what exactly does it mean; Who or what are we fighting?

The bible only mentions it 5 times in the scriptures below but what does it mean for you personally?

1 Samuel 28:1

Isaiah 40:2

1 Corinthians 9:7

2 Corinthians 10:4

1 Timothy 1:18

I'm interested in hearing your views on the subject

I think it is a mistake to put the term warfare into one basket. In a spiritual sense, it's a fight between us and the dark forces of Lucifer/Satan. However amongst all that, there is also physical war as is described in the old destament. While both of them require prayer and the help of the Lord, they are different as the fight with the devil is on the spiritual level, but the other can be quite physical..... but even on the physical side God can influence who comes out on top. However God usually uses flesh and blood people to wage war also as he did in the days of Saul and David.

When I first became a Christian, the wonder and exhilaration of finally being set free from the weight of guilt and sin filled me with joy, and the first thing I wanted to do was to tell the world about what Jesus had done for me. I could not wait to tell my parents and my siblings about the blessedness of being free, not only from sin, but also from the terrible bondage of having to satisfy the dogma and rituals of formal religion. Surely, they would be as thrilled as I was to learn that our salvation was not assured by our works or by our own understanding, but by the grace of God.

I was totally unprepared for the venom and the animosity towards the gospel of grace that my parents and my siblings spewed all over me. My parents were steeped and totally committed to obeying the doctrines of Catholicism, and became increasingly more agitated with me the more I tried to show them evidence from the Bible that Jesus alone could save them, and not the Pope, nor the priests, nor the pious devotion towards lighting candles or saying the rosary.

My parents gave me the impression that they were very comfortable in their belief that they could somehow please God by the works of their own hands, and that as long as they were satisfying the letter of the law of their religion, then they did not need to be concerned about any other aspect of their lives. Over time, I began to notice that a great many people who object to the gospel seem to be offended that anyone, God included, has a right to tell THEM that they were somehow not 'good enough' as they were. As far as these people were concerned, they were their own god, and they did not need anyone like me to come along and tell them they were "condemned already" if they did not embrace Jesus as their Lord.

Satan has been feeding us that line from the very beginning, when he tempted Eve to eat from the forbidden tree by telling her that God was holding out on her and did not want her to be wise. Humans have been looking at their own abilities to 'figure things out on our own, thank you' ever since. Such an attitude is foreign to the kingdom of God, which requires that we lift God up as the supreme ruler of our lives and that we humbly bow to His will in all things.

Folks are so enamored of their own abilities that they become violent if anyone comes along to disabuse them of their puffed up attitudes. People we have known and loved all our lives, co-workers and acquaintances that smile and wave at us on a daily basis become hostile the minute we even mention the name Jesus in their presence ... why? Because Satan is the god of this world, the one who spreads his own gospel of self-centeredness, and he is the one who is more greatly influencing the lives of the lost. He, and his fallen angels, are the principalities and the power of the air that we do battle with every moment of our waking lives, and they are the ones behind all the selfishness and unrest in our world.

It is a hard lesson to learn to find out that even our dearest family members can turn toxic on us at the mere mention of Jesus, or being held accountable for the truth, or even holding oneself accountable to others - and the sudden shock and pain of being totally rejected by a loved one over our faith in Christ can knock us completely off our feet, and we will take it quite personally unless we remember at all times that our "fight" - so to speak - is not with that loved one, but against Satan for instigating that stronghold of selfish opposition to God's authority in the first place.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 says it pretty well:

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh:

4( For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)

5Casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (emphasis mine)

6 And having a readiness to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (KJV 2000)

Jesus said it Himself: He did not come to bring peace to the world, but the sword. His word will tear families apart, as the believers and the non believers begin to take their own side in the battle for our souls. He tells us to be diligent and aware of our surroundings, to pray without ceasing for others, and above all, to constantly 'buffet our own bodies' to bring our fleshly needs under control so that our carnal appetites will not hinder our walk with God. Warfare is serious business, and not something we can ever take lightly, and the more we come to recognize all of the enemy's wiles, the more stringently we must pray and fight against its influence.

Everyone is in their own place as concerns their walk with God, and we cannot know their hearts the way that God can. When friends, loved ones, or even strangers, treat us with contempt, or behave towards us in an unfair or abusive manner, it is tempting to simply blow them off in anger and leave them to their own poison. Sometimes the biggest battle we face is our own dismissiveness towards others in the face of being challenged or dismissed by them - remembering to turn the other cheek when someone spitefully uses me is the hardest fight of all!

God bless ...

Very interesting NGKnightfell

I’m now getting to understand the different dimensions we identify with in terms of spiritual warfare

There are EXTERNAL battles in the natural realm – This is the battle we constantly engage in battles originating from certain behaviors and perceptions coming from friends, family and our communities; like in the example that NGKnightfell makes where the family doesn’t take kindly to the truth about our Lord Jesus.

We also identifying FOREIGN battles in the spiritual realm - and it appear this fight is against the Angels of God and the Angels of darkness, of which sometimes we cross barriers and desire to fight from this realm but does subjects such as evil possession and demons etc. fall under this category? Some people would beg to differ because the angels of God don’t necessarily have to minister deliverance to mankind.

One that I don’t hear much about is INTERNAL battle – where we should war to conquer battles that spring from within us, that hinder us individually from progression, that limit our abilities etc.

Maybe the subject of warfare is progressive in a sense that it should start from a certain realm and progress to a more advanced realm. How do I fight external battles if I have not conquered internal battles? This is probably why the sons of sceva were beaten up by the evil spirits because they tried engaging in an external/foreign battle yet they had not even made an effort to fight and conquer their internal battles (Identity in Christ). I hope someone will catch where I’m going with this.

The church has identified big problems, foreign problems if I may say that points everything to SATAN whoever that is and all we are doing by magnifying the problem is denying what Jesus said in the cross of Calvary; “It is finished” he said and secondly; we are making the problem too big to solve hence we are pushing it to God and say we must not lean on our own understanding but rather trusting in God

God was not joking when he said “Have dominion”, he really meant it but what chances do we have of dominating the earth as Christians when we cannot even take responsibility of the ill that has befallen the world but rather choose to push it back to say “God will take care of it”. Yes God will take care of it but wait a minute; He has already taken care of it by creating you and me in his image and likeness and with the ability to function the creator. Truly God’s dominion is heaven/eternity but mankind has been given the earth to dominate and several times God had to come down and solve our issues because we had fallen but shouldn’t it make any difference now that Christ has restored us and the Holy Spirit is shed abroad in our hearts?

Our forefathers of faith fought to possess their land of promise; we can look at Canaan not only from the eye of economic prosperity but also health and spiritual prosperity, where our inheritance has been divided among us and each one is sincerely functioning in his or her own little corner –shinning our lights for the world to see.

I initially asked Who or What are we fighting and y’all gave me correct answers but I’ll leave another rhetorical question; WHY must we fight? The question is as important as the others – reply Amen if you think it’s time believers took a stand and has dominion on the earth

I must admit, I never quite saw "dominion over the earth" in quite this way before. I got the impression that God's initial command to Adam and Eve (and thus all of their progeny) meant to go out over the land, and develop it. Plant crops... build homes, villages and cities... learn how to work metal, wood and stone... develop industry... and learn how to get along with each other. We are not very good at the "getting along" part, but we have world domination down cold.

The idea of believers taking charge of the earth the way that the Israelites were charged to take over the land of Canaan is a pretty big chunk of bread to digest in one sitting. As I dwell on this concept, my mind keeps seeing verses like 'turn the other cheek" and "he who lives by the sword will die by the sword" and "love your enemies as yourself" and "let the tares grow up amongst the wheat." From verses like these, I came to the conclusion that the kind of warfare God had in mind for this New Testament was one of our standing still and sure upon our foundation of faith, and let GOD fight the battles for us, and that we were supposed to spend our time making sure we loved one another, and making disciples of all nations. Just keeping our own tongues in control in the face of opposition or ridicule can be a full time battle ... at least for ME it is ... :biggrin2:

Besides, God promised that a NEW heaven and a NEW earth was in His future plans, and that His faithful followers in today's world would be priests and kings in the new one. Perhaps what you are suggesting is that Christians need to be more diligent than we tend to be right now, and get busy trusting God a whole lot more in preparation for this future "domination?"

Question: "What does the Bible say about spiritual warfare?"

Answer: There are two primary errors when it comes to spiritual warfare—over-emphasis and under-emphasis. Some blame every sin, every conflict, and every problem on demons that need to be cast out. Others completely ignore the spiritual realm and the fact that the Bible tells us our battle is against spiritual powers. The key to successful spiritual warfare is finding the biblical balance. Jesus sometimes cast demons out of people and sometimes healed people with no mention of the demonic. The apostle Paul instructs Christians to wage war against the sin in themselves (Romans 6) and to wage war against the evil one (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Ephesians 6:10-12 declares, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” This text teaches some crucial truths: we can only be strong in the Lord’s power, it is God’s armor that protects us, and our battle is against spiritual forces of evil in the world.

A powerful example of someone strong in the Lord’s power is Michael, the archangel, in Jude 9. Michael, likely the most powerful of all of God’s angels, did not rebuke Satan in his own power, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Revelation 12:7-8 records that in the end times Michael will defeat Satan. Still, when it came to his conflict with Satan, Michael rebuked Satan in God’s name and authority, not his own. It is only through our relationship with Jesus Christ that Christians have any authority over Satan and his demons. It is only in His Name that our rebuke has any power.

Ephesians 6:13-18 gives a description of the spiritual armor God gives us. We are to stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and by praying in the Spirit. What do these pieces of spiritual armor represent in spiritual warfare? We are to speak the truth against Satan’s lies. We are to rest in the fact that we are declared righteous because of Christ’s sacrifice for us. We are to proclaim the gospel no matter how much resistance we receive. We are not to waver in our faith, no matter how strongly we are attacked. Our ultimate defense is the assurance we have of our salvation, an assurance that no spiritual force can take away. Our offensive weapon is the Word of God, not our own opinions and feelings. We are to follow Jesus’ example in recognizing that some spiritual victories are only possible through prayer.

Jesus is our ultimate example for spiritual warfare. Observe how Jesus handled direct attacks from Satan when He was tempted by him in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11). Each temptation was answered the same way—with the words “It is written.” Jesus knew the Word of the living God is the most powerful weapon against the temptations of the devil. If Jesus Himself used the Word to counter the devil, do we dare to use anything less?

The ultimate example of how not to engage in spiritual warfare is the seven sons of Sceva. “Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, ‘In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.’ Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. One day the evil spirit answered them, ‘Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?’ Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding” (Acts 19:13-16). The seven sons of Sceva were using Jesus’ name. That is not enough. The seven sons of Sceva did not have a relationship with Jesus; therefore, their words were void of any power or authority. The seven sons of Sceva were relying on a methodology. They were not relying on Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and they were not employing the Word of God in their spiritual warfare. As a result, they received a humiliating beating. May we learn from their bad example and conduct spiritual warfare as the Bible instructs.

In summary, what are the keys to success in spiritual warfare? First, we rely on God’s power, not our own. Second, we rebuke in Jesus’ Name, not our own. Third, we protect ourselves with the full armor of God. Fourth, we wage warfare with the sword of the Spirit—the Word of God. Finally, we remember that while we wage spiritual warfare against Satan and his demons, not every sin or problem is a demon that needs to be rebuked.

As we look around this world we can see World crises as never before shaping up. There seems to be an avalanche of Natural disasters all over this World and they keep coming at a pace faster than anyone cares to talk about. Is there a reason for all of this or is this just the way things are suppose to be? As we see drastic changes relating to disasters such as fires, drought, flooding, and hurricanes, Tsunamis and soon to be Earthquakes and Volcano eruptions world wide, and now changes in our Government, is this pattern going to continue?

I see where some individuals are not overly concerned about what is happening and make the statement that these events have happened in the past and they will happen again and again. I cannot deny this, but I can see drastic changes in the sever ness of destruction that is being caused day in and day out by those events. As this continues there will be a sever strain on the economy and it will effect all concerned. The money for the re-construction after the destruction has to come from somewhere. Guess where that somewhere is, out of our pockets as taxpayer’s.

And what about the Fuel prices at the Fuel pumps that go up and down? This has caused a tremendous hardship on those who have families and who have to use their vehicles for work and have to purchase this high priced Fuel. Sure fuel has come down in the past few weeks, but don’t count on this price drop to continue. The common man does not make that much and his pocket book is being drained more and more each and every day. Especially the Trucker’s, they are being hit harder than the average working man because of the amount of fuel they have to purchase for their travel. We need to realize that truckers are the main line to our Nations lifeline of food and all necessary commodities for human life. It is true that you now see fuel prices coming down but don’t hold your breath because they will go back up in the near future.

After adding up all the money that is being taken from everyday citizens form Natural disasters, from taxing people to the point that they can’t make ends meet for their families survival, could it be that we will soon see a financial collapse in the System under which we now live? As this collapse takes place where are individuals going to turn. I can tell you that we will have never experienced as to what we will see in the very near future.

What we are experiencing is explained in the pages of your Bible and what we have to realize if you are a Christian is that all things are the creation of God Almighty. And because He has created mankind He also established Laws and Statutes for man to live by. The problem stems from the teachings of today not teaching about those Laws and those Statutes that God gave us and if we would live by them and abide by them, we would not be facing the coming disastrous events we are facing now and in the near future. Individuals teach that the Laws have been done away and have been nailed to the Cross.

Bible teachers of today are not teaching about such events because they don’t really understand them and why they are going to happen to us as a Nation. Most Ministers say that God would not do this to His people, but I can tell you that is not true. God is now angry and He is ready to unleash His punishment on those to whom will not head the warning that he has put out.

WARNING’S FROM GOD

Individuals may not heed the warnings given in Scripture because they have not fully known or understand their meaning.

Isaiah ch 1: verses 2, 3, 4,5,6,7

2; (N.I.V.) “Have ear O Heavens! Listen, O Earth! For the Lord has spoken: I (God speaking) reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me”.

3; “ The ox knows his master, the Donkey his owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, My people do not understand

4; “Ah, sinful Nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy one of Israel and turned their backs on Him”.

God makes the statement that His people, those who are living today, do not know Him and that they have been misinformed about Him and His truth. The Ministers today do not teach of the Real Jesus. They teach of a watered down, Jesus Christ and they say that His Laws have been done away. God said a donkey knows his master. An Ox knows his owner. But my people don’t know Me.

5; “Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured; your whole Hear is afflicted”.

6; “From the sole of your foot to the top of your Head there is no soundness—only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil”.

7; “Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers”.

Yes, God is angry with His people because they have left Him and are not following His Laws. He tells us that because of us going astray that He would have strangers from a strange land overtake our Nation. Those who teach the Bible today will be held accountable for not teaching the people the truth and because they have not been teaching the complete truth of God, God will punish us severely. He will do this to bring us to our knees.

Now to Isaiah ch 13: verses 6,7,8,9

6; “Wail, for the day of the Lord is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty

7; “Because of this all hands will go limp; every man’s heart will melt”.

8; “Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them, they will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame”.

9; “See, the day of the Lord is coming—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it”.

God will not hold back His wrath. He is angry and no matter who has broken His Word, He will punish them for that. This is a promise from Him. He is tired of all the filth and squalor in our Nation and on the Earth. He is tired of individuals breaking His Laws.

Now to Jeremiah ch 4: verses 22;

22; “My people are like fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good”.

What God is talking about here is the way that people worship Him. He said the people are skilled in doing evil. The people worship Him in the wrong manner. They are using Pagan traditions in worshiping Him. They do not worship Him by the instructions He has given them in the Bible and they worship Him through idols and images, pagan style and God hates that.

Now to Jeremiah ch 6: verses 17,18,19,20,

17; “I appointed watchmen over you and said, listen to the sound of the Trumpet! But you said, we will not listen”.

18; “Therefore hear O nations; observe O witnesses, what will happen to them”.

19;” “Hear O Earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected My Law”.

20; “What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet Calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me

There are a number of Pagan Traditions God hates. But Notice the Pagan tradition that God really hates.

Jeremiah ch 10: verses 1, 2,3,4,5,

1; “Hear what the Lord says to you O House of Israel. This is what the Lord says”:

2; “Do not learn the ways of the Nations or be terrified by signs in the Sky, though the Nations are terrified by them”.

3; “For the customs of the people are worthless; they cut a tree out of the Forest and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel (describing a Christmas tree)

4; “They adorn it with Silver and Gold and they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter”.

5; “Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, there Idols cannot speak they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fears them they can do no harm nor can they do any good”.

Is it any wander that God is angry with us as His Special Nation? We have taken Pagan traditions from Pagan Rome and instituted them in our Churches in the name of God Almighty.

There is a reason why we, as the United States as a Nation are now beginning to face the punishments from Almighty God. I want to now give the reason for this. Then one will have no excuse as to knowing why these things are go into happen to us. We have read in the scriptures above about these punishments, we will now see why they are coming on us.

The United States and its people is a special people to God. They have been given a Birth Right Blessing from God and this blessing has been hidden from the people for many years. This has to be understood before we can understand why we are going to be punished by God.

God said that those who teach His word will be held accountable for not teaching this. People are not being given all of the truth and it will come to haunt them in the near future if they do not heed the warnings now. All I am doing is giving a warning message because God commands those who know and understand what is going to happen to give that warning to them.

The following prophecies are against the Ministers of today.

Jeremiah ch 23: verses 1, 2, 3,4,5,6,

1; “Woe to the Sheppard’s (false ministers) who are destroying and scattering the Sheep of My Pasture! Declares the Lord”.

2; “Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the Sheppard’s who tend my people: Because you have driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the Evil you have done declares the Lord

3; “ I Myself will gather the Remnant of my flock out of all the Countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their Pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number”.

Very soon now God will put some of His people into captivity when foreigners invade our land. That will be those who will not heed the warning and will not come out from the Pagan Traditions they are so engulfed. Those who do understand will prepare for this from the knowledge they received from God and will hopefully be spared from captivity. It is a promise that God will take them to a Physical Place of Protection on this Earth.

Now to verse 4:

4; “I will place Sheppard’s over them, who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing, declares the Lord”.

Those Sheppard’s spoken of are the ones who will give information and warning in due time.

Now to Hosea ch 4: verses 6,7,8,9,10,11,12

6; “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge I also I also reject you as my Priests; because you have ignored the Law of your God, I also will ignore your children”.

7; The more the Priest increased, the more they sinned against me; they exchanged their Glory for something graceful”.

8; “They feed on the sins of my people and relish their wickedness.

9; “And it will be: like people, like Priests. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds”.

God is plain spoaken when He confronts the Ministers about leading His people astray. They will be severely punished for what they teach.

There are Laws and Statutes that God established for His people but they have not been taught by the ministers today. There is not one day that is being observed by the people that has been sanctioned by God Almighty. Not one. Not Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and many more that are Pagan in Nature. All of the days mentioned are from Pagan Rome Tradition and continued to be observed today. No wander God is angry. One of Gods Commandments states that you shall not bare False Accusations, or that is not to lie. There is no such being as Santa Claus. That is a lie the children. God does not like that. And have you ever see a Rabbit that has laid an egg? That is a lie. I hear people say, oh we know and understand but because we put Jesus Christ in the tradition, it’s ok with Him.

That is the reason we are now experiencing all the disasters we are. And they will continue until we repent as a Nation and as individuals.

The true Holy Days of God are mentioned in Leviticus Ch 23: and they are still binding on us as The Nation of Israel today. They are for Israel and Judah both. They are to be kept forever, never to be done away. But the Churches don’t do that. You don’t have special days for the so-called Christian Churches and still claim to be of God for God has his own Holy days and He expects them to be observed.

You don’t have special days for the so-called Christian Churches and still claim to be of God for God has his own Holy days and He expects them to be observed

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Philippians 2:1-3

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:16-20

I always knew Ephesians 6:10-20 to have the answer.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
