As long as there are some who think conscious life can originate with a piece of material matter like a rock (as the pagans believed) then it will go nowhere. The scripture states clearly that we, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, in telling us to love God. ( The Greatest Commandment) to love God with all you heart, mind and soul, and all your strength. But he never tells us once to love God with our bodies. You see, we can't love God with what we don't own. We can respect God with our bodies, by not destroying the temple of the Holy Spirit. But we love God with what is ours to give.
