We don't KNOW what kinds of miralces happen under Hinn's ministry. Some of you apparently know nothing about traveleing ministry and how hard it would be to track and verify healings. I wouldn't. Preach and move on. Ministers have no time to waste trying to prove God is real to skeptics and scorners.

None of you know FOR A FACT that cripples, the retarded, or limbless people haven't been healed at hinn's meetings. Have you been at every meeting for the last 10 years and spoken to every person there????? Its simply IMPOSSIBLE to know! What you expect from him--all this documentation is a greater miralce than growing out an arm! These demands are ridiculous.

Now then, I gave no smokescreen. The challenge about emptying a hosptal ward IS UNBIBLICAL. It assumes a fallacy that we can heal at will---we can't and I proved that NOT EVEN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST could do so while he was here. You conveniently ignored that. My answer fits the challenge---its the same---if you want to see hospitals emptied---I want to see everyone in them saved if you have the power of God and the message.

That's very gracious of you Nebula. Thank you! I am comforted in the thought that I have not burned my bridges with yet another Christian on this forum by my sometimes all too brash way of expressing what I believe to be God's view of things.

I don't personally like Hinn and I think he's sham and a fraud. But ya know what, I used to think the same of Jim Bakker. I heard he had changed and I finally had the chance to see him on a local Christian station, WTCT. He seems ever much humbled and sincere-a down to earth type of guy who you could sit and have a conversation with. I honestly think the man has changed. Could the same not happen to Hinn? Maybe it is this expose that will bring the change? I think he needs to be exposed and we need to hope that will bring a change!

i have not heard jim baker preach,but i have heard jimmy swaggart preach,i believe that he"s beening expose brought about a change and he says it has,now preaches,*Jesus Christ,and him cruxified* he is on bet,spike t.v and sonlife radio. i believe that he had to lose everything ,before God could use him as never before in his ministry

YUP Nebs, a tree is known by it's fruit. Benny Hinns tree should be known as the Fraud Fruit Tree The Fraud Fruit Tree is a rather spectacular looking fruit as it dances about the branches of the tree, but the taste is rather bland and isn't all the fruit appears to be on the surface.

In my business as a television director many years ago I did have the opportunity to see some of the older healers, and I know they did have fake healings..... However there were sometimes one or two that you knew were for real. I think it was the Faith of the hurt/injured people that caused the healings and not the likes of Oral and his buddies.

If there are any who think healings never happen, I could tell you about a little 10 year old girl here in Shawnee that was sick most of her life and it got so bad the doctors thought she was going to die.  They did many tests and found she had a third kidney in her body that was not properly plumed and was not draining at all and was in a constant state of infection.  It was just as plain ad day on xrays.  The weekend before her surgery to remove it the church anointed her with oil and prayed for her.  She was on high levels of antibiotics to prepare her for the surgery so it was a week or so before the surgery was to be done.

That morning the girl was in really good shape and feeling better than she had her whole life......  the surgeon wanted a very detailed picture of where the kidney was so they did a cat scan of her and found the kidney was no longer there.

One picture it was there and the next it was gone.

The child's mother said that one of the young doctors was trying to make up some "rational" excuse for the shape of the girl and how the xray showed it there. She said the older doctor put his hand on the young doctors shoulder and told him, "Is this your first miracle?  Hang around this children's hospital and you will see many many more."  Apparently they are common to the medical staff who work there.  I can only speak for the one girl but that one is true.

It is my understanding that the Young lady has had no more problems of that nature and her allergies cleared up also.

As for Hinn, I am much more concerned about his "little God" stuff than I am his fake healings (assuming that nothing has changed within the groups since I was there watching). We will see Sunday night how the program goes.....

He doesn't believe in the "little god" stuff, and openly disavowed himself from such teachings YEARS AGO in a Charisma interview. If some on here actually DID SOME RESEARCH, instead of just throwing irresponsible accusations around, you wouldn't look so dumb to those that are aware of these facts.

Some of you on here say you KNOW he is a fraud and a sham. Really? No proof. You just "know". I say you DON'T KNOW. Its just your opinion derived from what others say. You have no first-hand knowledge to back up your opinions. So you really shouldn't say these things about him until you DO KNOW.

Even if it is true, it is SIN on your part to speak evil of another, seeing you have no real facts. If you had substantial, concrete facts, that would be one thing, but since you don't, yet you continue to say such thngs, it is sin on your part.

As for the "little gods" doctrine. Most of you don't seem to even know what it was. You are objecting to a doctrine you can't even define! Well let me tell you the teaching:

1- Satan is called the "god" of this world. The "prince" of this world. How did he get this posiion?

2- Obviously, he got Adam's position and authority, seeing God gave dominion to Adam. Adam lost it. The devil got it by Adam submitting to him instead of God.

3- When the devil tempted our Lord Jesus, he offered the kingdoms of the world and their authority if Christ would worship him. He said this authroity was GIVEN to him, and he could give it to whoever he wanted.

4- Well its OBVIOUS God didn't give this authority to the devil! He gave it to Adam-Gen 1:26-28, Psalms 8. And apparently is was given to Adam, and he could give it away, and he did.

5- So the authority and dominion Adam had is likened to being a "god" and and "prince" in this world. Adam was, as a matter of speaking, a "little god". Now the devil has this position.

6- So, Word of Faith teachers have taught this, and encouraged believers to realize the place and dominion man originally had in the beginning. And they encouraged believers to no longer be deceived by, nor submit to the devil's attacks, or to circumstances, but to walk in the Adamic authority that the Second Adam has returned to us. We are to dominate our circumstances and the devil through the Word of God, and His promises via faith.

7 Word of faith teachers encouraged believers to see themselves as God intended--"little gods" having dominion and authority over the earth and Satan.

8- Our Lord simply walked as the First Adam did before He fell--by faith, in Adamic authority and did what Adam should have---resisted and defeated the devil. We can now walk as our Lord did--in dependence on the Holy Spirit, and the authority that is ours because of the Cross and resurrection. We are now to dominate, we are now to begin to walk in the original plan of God.

9- The term "little god" is not meant to convey our nature--that we are little dieties, but rather, that we walk in the authority of God by nature of our intended place in God's creation. It is meant to jar us out of a low view of man that is unBiblical. Yes, we come to God as worms and worthless sinners, but once regenerated and adopted into His Kingdom, we are now KINGS AND PRIESTS, and we need to know what that means and walk in it.

10- We are no longer just forgiven sinners, but we have the seed of God in us, His nature, and we can not only obey Him and live holy, but because of our position as sons of God now, we can also exert dominion over Satan and over our circumstances through prayer, fasting, and simply SPEAKING THE WORD, as God did in Genesis One, and as the Second Adam did on earth, asour example.

So now then---WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE ABOVE???

I know some can take this too far and have, but the essence of this is Scriptural and we need to know it, believe it and walk in it, to the glory of the Father. Amen.
