Count them:

Thursday Night - Friday - 1st night and 1st day

Friday Night - Saturday - 2nd night and 2nd day

Saturday Night - Sunday Morning - 3rd night and 3rd day

I don't think it's proper to count Sunday morning, since He rose before dawn, before the "day".

What to us is before dawn Sunday morning to a Jew is still Sunday night.

One could consider that Thursday, when He died, was the first day.  I was considering this also.  We need to remember that scripture never indicates that the day has to be a full term, as in 12 hours or so.  That would look like:

Thursday - Thursday Night- 1st day and 1st night

Friday - Friday Night - 2nd day and 2nd night

Saturday - Saturday Night - 3rd day and 3rd night

Or if you translate that to Jewish days:

Thurs-Friday night

Fri-Sat night

Sat-Sunday night

Not sure what you mean. Why leave out the days? Didn't Jesus Himself tell us He would be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights?

Matthew 12:40

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Maybe its just my need to put things where they belong...but is there a prophetic implication to all of this?

but was he actually in the grave any Sunday Day   i would say no.

It seems to me that he would have to have been buried Wednesday at sundown.

Wednesday Night, Thursday Day

Thursday Night, Friday Day

Friday Night, Saturday Day

and arose sometime Saturday after sundown and before Sunday daybreak.

So glad to see you write this Other One, as I agreed wholeheartedly.
