But without faith it impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.   Hebrews 11:6

So when you are so sure that if it is something that you truly desire and if you bring it before God, and He will surely say NO!  How does one prayer to God?  I can honestly say I fear to bring anything before God in prayer, thinking that regardless of what it is He will say NO!

So when you are so sure that if it is something that you truly desire

and if you bring it before God,

and He will surely say NO!

How does one prayer to God?

I can honestly say I fear to bring anything

before God in prayer, thinking that regardless of what it is He will say NO!

Because Of Jesus

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Matthew 4:13-16

We Have

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:6-9

Hope

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear,

though the earth be removed,

and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Psalms 46:1-2

How do you know God will say no?

You may fear bringing something to God in prayer, but you must remember, God already knows what you want to ask. (Matthew 6:8)

So you may as well ask!

Also, you may not always feel like eating, but if you don't, you'll starve to death.

If you neglect prayer, you will starve to death spiritually!

When the temporal seems so pressing in my mind, and the world seems to be standing on my heart, I can only praise God for the eternal. The days I can't put words together, I can still say PRAISE JESUS!

The "no's" are hard.

You may simply pray, Lord, I believe, help my unbelief. Mark 9:24

You don't need much faith. You need to understand how great God's love is for you and how much He wants to bless you. He loves you so much that Christ died for you. You need to understand how big and powerful your God is, Eph 1:19-20 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, accoring to the working of His might power which He worked in Christ Jesus when he raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Then you pray in submission to His will--nevertheless not my will be done but Yours.

We have not because we ask not. Regardless of how much or how little faith we have we cannot recieve anything from God if we as his children do not ask what we will. We pray in faith whether in weakness or in strength for God knows what we want before we even ask him for it. Believers have to exercise their faith instead of letting it lie dormant. Perhaps what you have shared with us here in your OP you could talk to God about that and express what you are going through and are afraid to ask for something you want and desire because you think he will say no to your request and desires. For God cares about our fears as well as our faith in him. I wouldn't let the fear of being told no stop me from asking God for what you want as long as the prayer is not amiss going against his word. You would exhibit faith in God's eyes by going ahead and asking in faith even though you are believing he will say no as it takes simple faith to just ask and talk to God about anything doesn't it. God is a loving Father we need not fear to approach him with our needs and desires for he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. It is also faith when you pray to God despite what you are feeling at the time and trust him that he heard you when you prayed.

The difficulty is in reaching that place of surrender where what you simply ask in prayer is the fulfillment of God's plans for your life. God's own desires must come first before ours. Sacrifice and self-denial. The hard and narrow way of Jesus. These are what it's about.

But the end result is glorious. For when you and God are finally one... you can be sure that God will answer your prayers abundantly! Talk about faith!

[ESV 1Cor 2:9] But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"--

Keep a log or journal of your prayer life.   Prayers are usual answered one way or the other.   It's not just spitting into the wind, you know.

Keeping a log or journal will reinforce your dependence upon God, whether your desires big or small are granted or not.

Bear in mind that God doesn't grant inappropriate petitions such as a desire for revenge (Such prayers are more common than you'd think).

God answers prayers, but if you don't ask you can't tell if He's answered your hearts desire or not.

Prayer is the answer to coincidence.   You can PROVE God's kindness and grace in your life through answered prayers.   Those who hate God claim His works are only the coincidence of life.   Personally I don't believe anything is a coincidence.   When I push a button to start my car, does the engine begin by coincidence or is there something else going on?   The same is true of prayer.

We are invited to ASK of God in prayer.   That's quite a big deal you know.   When was the last time President Obama promised to give YOU something?

Write down your prayer requests.   You'll learn something about God when you do.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
