The question : Where about would we be now in prophecy, is the waiting for Israel to sign the peace treaty the next step?

The following scripture shows us that Israel will have reestablished some sort of daily sacrifice, and may even be doing so at this present time secretly, but 30 days prior to the tribulation

Dan 12:11   And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The above scripture is speaking of the little horn we read of in Dan 8:11.  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The first sacrifice to be taken is the daily sacrifice which is but a portion of Israel’s supposed obligation to God at that time, and it comes 1290 days prior to all religious practice to be shut down when the abomination of desolation takes all sacrifice from them at the middle of the week 1290 days later.

Dan 9:27  And he (The antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. This is at the very middle of the week of 2520 days, or 7 years of tribulation.

In Daniel 8:11 this little horn is the false prophet attempting to end anything familiar with religion.

You can read of the other little horn in Dan 9:27.  And he (The antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many (The Jews) for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

You asked where we are presently at in prophesy, and of course I have no real idea other than man is waxing worse, many Christians not assembling any longer one with the other, weather patterns deteriorating worldwide, earthquakes etc., but we’re told to look up; our redemption draweth nigh.

There is a time or season and I continue to believe Act 15:14  Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name, and this in my opinion will continue until Rom 11:25.  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

I hope I’m not making this hard; it does take time to get this all straight in our heads, and I am still learning. Others will testify that I haven’t learned anything.  Thanks for your questions.    :)

At the moment I am trying to find out what I believe about when the Rapture can  occur, when I was a new Christian I was taught that the Rapture will happen before the tribulation start, then I learned there a more views about when this  all  can happen.

I lot of us have that experience
My own investigations, have led me so far to the conclusions I summarize here in these points and bible verses

lol Mega, it is time for me to refresh, I now remember that the priest from the Levi tribe will be connected to the new temple...

The 144.000 will be Jews from every tribe of Israel, here is a very interested article about the 144.000 it's to long to post it here...

That link and the site was interesting. The article itself was very detailed, the most detailed that I have ever read on the 144,000. In spite of this, it still never established that the 144,000 are witnesses. If you cut through all of the almost overwhelming verbiage, if one is interested in the aspect of the 144k as witnesses, their view is summed up in this quote:

" AND THIS GOSPEL (or Good News) OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED (or announced) IN ALL THE WORLD FOR A WITNESS UNTO ALL NATIONS; AND THEN SHALL THE END COME-Mt 24:14.

It can be expected that the 144,000 will proclaim, in detail, the Tribulation period, including the various events that will be happening. They may also teach the following

The bold text is from their site, not added by me. Notice however, what they produce as evidence:

"it can be expected" and "they may also teach"

Looking around their site, I find that they are not prone to letting their readers know what the bible teaches, their agenda seems to be, hiding facts in order to reveal the truth (of what they believe, not what the bible says)

Just as one example there is a subject link which says:

SOUND BIBLICAL REASONS SHOWING THE RAPTURE IS DURING OF AFTER THE TRIBULATION

If one clicks on that link one is taken to a single sentence which says (and nothing more):

  1.  There are none.

After reading that, it is difficult for me to take that site very seriously. I am fairly headstrong and convinced that the pre-trib rapture theory is not taught in scripture. However, even I would never say there are no sound bible reasons showing that there is a pre-trib rapture. Even though I believe the bible does not teach a pre-trib rapture, such a statement would be way too strong. What I do, is have the intellectual integrity, to present evidence why pre-tribbers believe what they do, and then show why I think that is a misunderstanding. I show evidences for why I believe what I beleive, and I invite others to show me to be wrong.

Why would I do that? Well, I am not the sole interpreter of scripture, and I do not want to lead anyone astray. I do not dismiss opposing viewpoints outright, or expect people to take my word for it that my position is right. I would rather drive people to the scriptures, and let people decide for themselves what the bible teaches, and what it does not. What I believe personally, is irrelevant to what others should believe.

I still cannot get over that propaganda tactic! You have given me a site that has now risen to the top of my list of eschatology propaganda sites, surpassing even Rapture Ready. Notice that by giving out names of sites, that I am providing resources for opposing my view.

Never-the-less, in spite of their agenda and disregard of other possibilities, I do not think their site is useless. There is so much there, that there is bound to be a lot of really good stuff. I just advise that visitors to it, weigh what they read there carefully, as we should all sites dealing with spiritual content.

One thing I really like about Worthy Christian Forums, is that it allows a wide diversity of view points to have their say, as long as it is respectful and not heretical - promoting false religion.

Thanks again for making me aware of that website.

Here we read that when the very last person accept

Jesus as their Savior the end shall come, I'm not really concerned when the rapture will happen, just to be with Jesus someday is really enough for me :)

Christ is my reward

And all of my devotion

Now there's nothing in this world

That could ever satisfy

Through every trial

My soul will sing

No turning back

I've been set free

Christ is enough for me

Christ is enough for me

Everything I need is in You

Everything I need

Christ my all in all

The joy of my salvation

And this hope will never fail

Heaven is our home

Through every storm

My soul will sing

Jesus is here

To God be the glory

I have decided to follow Jesus

No turning back

No turning back

The cross before me

The world behind me

No turning back

No turning back

First I would like to empty my mind of a lot of things that may make me read into this text.

Did any member of the plilathelfian church ever read this epistle ? When did John wrote it? and when did copies were made and sirculated ? Any way the island of Patmos is close to these churches.

Back to the tex , the people remain faithfull in spite their harassment from their fellow citizens (naming a group in particular)

Which group eventually the Lord promise them will leave them alone.

The next events we may first look at them just only for these people and their generation.

They are common testings through out the ages for all beleivers and then they are specific testings for every generation in different parts of the world. --the Armenian slauter it was not for you in North America, but the civil war was. The african genosides, the roman persecution? Being in the place of a slave beleiver.

Also possible (like Paul the testing made them strong in the Lord- they got to know the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and the things of this world grow dimmer, and Jesus brighter. ( I said that so you can feel bless and fhappy in Jesus )

Simply they learn to live for Jesus .

Jesus informs them that they are going to hear what is happening to beleivers in Rome or other cities. But not to trouble themselfs it wan't happen to them. And tells them how greater spiritual blessings may comie to them.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
