re "america is better"....    i  don't think we can say yes or no.

other believers from africa came and visited for a while.  in a few weeks they went back to africa

with the comment "we cannot stay in the usa - the believers(yes, the believers, not the unbelievers)

in the usa churches are TOO GREEDY.(this has long been recognized, btw)

"TOO rich" is a WORD THE LORD GAVE ABOUT 38 years ago concerning a church(es)... and they had no idea what that meant and were completely oblivious to what others clearly saw  - and what others still see today.....

so, spiritually, it is hard to live in the usa.  not that it's easy in countries where torture and arrest and beatings etc etc is common.....

also,   a banker who moved here from africa a couple years ago,

and many others who moved here from other countries (japan, philippines, indonesia, europe..)

(and as reported widely in nationwide news publications)

"physically" they had bad experiences ongoing, with usa food --- many got sick from the food here, and many gained 60 pounds in a couple months,

and some moved back to their home country where eating healthy was much more available, natural and easier, (and expected instead of poopawed) ....

dozens or perhaps hundreds of war veterans moved to the philippians haha - philippines - after taking a vacation there for a couple weeks or more.

it only took 2 weeks in the philippines, eating the food sold to everyone in the open marketplace,

for the war veterans to find their "medical condition" disappear (by doctor's testing verified) ...

and many of them came back and packed and moved for good back to where the normal everyday food available to everyone in the common marketplace is good enough to stay healthy.

(and a lot less expensive in terms of not just money, but also a near absence of debilitating side effects and without the common need for ever increasing drug use from the effect of previously prescribed drugs)

Yes The well known company which wants to force us world wide to eat genetically modified foods .

Let the big one hit the west coast and that big old huge shelf that has built up on La Palma broke off it would send a 300+ foot wall of water to the east coast......     East coast and West Coast is where most of the Liberal voters are.....

Oklahoma and Texas could do just fine without them....   The people around Austin are smart enough to change sides when they saw the writing on the wall.

This is where you will be surprised  I think by whom God punishes ,surprised indeed .

Wow, I missed that comment. Was it TIC other one ? ( I would imagine so, but my imagination often runs amuck ) .

I was having one of those moments where one if frustrated with one's fellow citizens who seem to be hell bent on getting God to do disastrous things to us.   Maybe he'll just blow up Yellowstone and take the Bible Belt to heaven and leave these coastal people to try and feed themselves.    Thats' what my wife is holding out for...   I think if she knew it was coming she'd have me up there camping when it went off.

the problem is that in the past we have not been able to get them to bother to vote......   and that may well be changing.

I do not believe judgment has come yet.  When we read in the OT about the numerous times judgment was poured out its much worse than what we have going on as of now.  Famine, death by the sword, plagues, etc.  Quite a few years back God took me to the book of Hosea. And He kept me there for awhile.  I didnt understand why as nothing in this book was being discussed in the church I went to at that time.  No one I was having fellowship with had anything to say on it.  And when ever I spoke on what God was showing me everyone kinda looked at me funny.  It wasn't until years later it made sense to me.  The people in the book of Hosea had gone their own way.  They went after their lovers and their sin.  They had forgotten The Lord.  And yet God still desired them to turn from their ways and back to Him.  This is where we are today.  God told the prophet to take a wife of a certain type (keeping it family friendly here) that a man wouldn't really want.  That type of woman Is america.  The style of life we have is almost nearly as in the days of the judges... when every man did what was right in his own eyes.  Which is chaos. I remember back after 911 headlines spoke on stocks dropping 777% or something like that.  I do remember seeing 777 in the headlines and it made my spirit feel amazement to God.  i have been seeing things pop out at me for over a decade now.  When we read the OT and how God passed judgment, we read it quick and so we think it happened quick, but thats not how it is.  Sometimes judgment lasts for generations.  And thats why our obedience is paramount.  One single bad decision can ruin a lifetime of good decisions.  one single act of disobedience can harm us so bad.  Look at Elimelech in the book of Ruth.    Chapter one verse one says there was a famine in the land, which means the people was hungry.  Now God had promised to bring a savior thru this family.  In the same passage it tells us Elemelech decided to go stay in Moab for awhile, to sojourn there.  now what we may not consider is there was a curse on Moab and no one was supposed to go there.  This curse was due the bible story of the two daughters who gave their father wine to drink and commited a very bad sin. (again, trying to keep it family friendly)  Well Elimelech didn't make it back from moab.  You know a lot of christians leave churches because they say they arent being fed?  Many never get their life back on track either.  I heard a preacher call it famine vision and he explained how it robs us of what God has for us. This is life or death and those of us who still have light must stay true to The Lord.  A single act of disobedience can harm generations to come, not just us in the here and now.  Many Christians have lost that victory they once had.  Once judgment is passed, it will be much much worse than what we have now.  I believe this is a season of separation.  Almost like God is giving us a last chance to get our house in order with Him.  Let us not waste a single day in drawing near to Him.

THANK YOU FOR THIS LOVELY POST

The book of Revelation does not mention America.

It also doesn't mention the antichrist.

It most certainly does. Not only Revelation but the books of John  as well.

1 John 2:18

1 John 2:22;4:3

2 John 7

Revelation 6:2

Revelation 13

Revelation 19:20

Revelation 20:10

Perhaps a word study is overdue. I recommend starting with your first verse where John first introduces the  Greek word antichristos in the plural for many false christs as he does whenever speaking of a man or men. It is only in reference to the spirit of antichrist that is is used in the singular. Then after you fail to find the same word used Revelation which also was authored by the Apostle John you can ask why he failed to use antichristos there.

Why would you be blown to bits? Those judgements are for the ungodly.  And nobody "is wanting" to have judgments come upon the ungodly. That is how it will work out.

It happens to folks everyday Ezra ( being blown to bits that is [ sadly ] ). Is everyone who dies in one fashion or another ungodly? Of course not. Yet I will accept God's judgement as just and righteous, be it in my favor or not. I cling to the hope that I do not suffer His wrath, by His grace, and through my faith in Jesus.

The book of Revelation does not mention America.

It also doesn't mention the antichrist.

It may not mention "the Antichrist" but the Beast of Revelation 13 is none other than the Antichrist (who has many names and titles).

Thanks for sharing your opinion with me, but that is all you've done. Can you provide further scriptural and historic support?

Getting back to the judgment of America, many people equate New York with Babylon...

There is an actual Babylon in NY. But I do not base my persuasion on that fact, however neither do I ignore it.

...I believe there will be (a) a revived city of Babylon in Iraq and (2) Mystery Babylon with consist of a worldwide idolatrous coalition (with the church of Rome playing a prominent part) under the Beast, with the worship of Satan and the Abomination of Desolation as its focal point. It may not mention "the Antichrist" but the Beast of Revelation 13 is none other than the Antichrist (who has many names and titles).

 babylonian-empire-map.gif

So Ezra, are you telling us that this  "revived city of Babylon in Iraq" is going to be able to be reached by all the merchants of the earth with their ships? Just when do you anticipate this becomes a feasible reality, how many years off would you guess? And if they dry up the River Euphrates according to scripture, then what? How's that all work into your theory? Just some honest questions that I think are desiring of your prayerful consideration and reply.

Revelation 18:9 - And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,  10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
