That's what I get from your post Esther.  Just sit and exude love and everything will be fine-- sorry if you're insulted. I failed to see how that would help people who are persecuted. How else could I interpret it what you said in response to everyone else's information they are giving you and concerns other people  have shared?

I prefer to feed people if they are hungry etc....

Well then let me be very clear.  From experience, I am very concerned with not being put in situations like that again.  From experience, what I posted works to prevent this!  I live in the evidence of the effectiveness of it every day.  What I shared has been thoroughly tested and where is scripture to support anything that you claim because what I claim was a plan of escape I found from starting in a place of bondage that you have probably never experienced in your entire life.

Yes, I do and I don't really see that what you all are doing is much more effective...

How is it that in all that I said about love and confession as Christians, you only respond with the same militant attitude that is being displayed here towards Islam.  It only solidifies my opinion that the church has lost its first love and that is what I am more worried about than Islam.

Islam is ANTI-CHRISTIAN and anti-everything in your world.  Wake up, Esther.

Watch your mouth.  You are nothing but a bully.  I went out of my way to post something kind and edifying and this is what you post.

I wont watch anything on your say so, Esther, you aren't running this forum.  I'm telling you the truth; if it tastes bitter that's on you.  Your post was actually anti-Christian. Calling me a bully is tenyearoldish.

Look at that she just keeps going.  You just have to have the last word every time don't you.  I wonder what that means?  What do they say about people who have to have the last word?  Just keep spewing your hate like you are doing Him a favor.

So,it's hate to tell you to wake up? You can be as tenyearoldish and P.C. as you see fit and LOVE muslims all you like but they will cut your head off anyway so it's a moot point.  If you don't like my posts, or don't believe  my warning for you to wake up, don't respond.

Can we reason together as believers ?

It's possible if we're all believers in the same God.  What do you want to reason about?  :)

That is a great idea, but not a reality on some threads.

I agree with Esther, and I agree with everyone else.  We need to walk in love, but be effective in that walk, just like Jesus.  Esther I'm sorry for what happened to you, and I am glad God has delivered you from those horrible situations.  If we could all now extend that same love while discussing these things, that would be great.  It's one thing to be divided over these issues online, but it's still real life.  It shows that we can easily divided when facing these issues very close up.  As brethren, this ought not to be.  Surely we can reason together without feeling bullied or feeling attacked for thinking in a different way.  Jesus is the fulfillment of Isaiah 61, and He wants us to be the same, which means we need to get out there and doing some work, like feeding the hungry, healing the sick, preaching the gospel.  All in His love.  I think we can all agree upon that and still keep our peace, right?

Blessings :)

Islamization of America

Islamization of AmericaThe Islamization of America is accelerating. In tandem with the spread of Sharia law in America's courts, Islamization of the American media, political and education systems in particular is gaining momentum and confidence, and there is near unanimity that it will continue. The drivers of the accelerating Islamization of America include the following.

Estimated to be five million, the Muslim population in USA today is about the size of the Hispanic population 27 years ago, but it is growing six times faster than the national rate, thanks to high rates of birth, immigration and conversions.

Islam's growth in American prisons is particularly troubling. About 80% of Americans who convert to a religion while in prison become Muslims, who now comprise about 20% of American prison population. The conversion rate is especially high among African-American inmates.

Even more troubling, Islamic groups, including Muslim Brotherhoods' Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), have penetrated the highest levels of the US government. The White House now has a White House Muslim Advisor, who has counterpart Muslim advisors at the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, whose Senior Fellow, Mohamed Elibiary recently declared that USA is an "Islamic country":

As believers in Jesus, of course no one wants to see this happen.  I am a believer because I love the way that the Bible teaches us that He leads people.  There is no one else like Him.  I would never want to follow anyone else for anything in the world.  There is no one else like Him.  It deserves to be said twice.  However, as a result of my high opinion for His leadership, I believe that this article only displays more reason to love others more and to make sure that our hearts are right with Him because things like this are happening around us.  Sometimes it is the simple things that require the most faith.

I like to take personal inventory by journaling about my struggles with pride, and being frustrated with others, and things people have done that hurt me.  I am continually amazed how He shows His love for me when I do these simple things that mean nothing to anyone else.  It is foolishness to a person without the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14).  But, it has been the most effective approach I have found to finding life and having it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Scripture says the "blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).  "He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend," (Proverbs 22:11).  "Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).

From my experience, it takes more faith to depend on His protection resulting from a pure heart than it does to try and gather votes from a soap box.  I am willing to bet that the method that requires more faith will lead to greater rewards.

However, from the looks of it, many appear to have lost their first love.  "Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place." (Revelation 2:4-5).

In conclusion, when fighting a spiritual battle such as this; as Christians, we do three simple things.  We love more, we confess our sins, and we wait in confidence that He is faithful and just to deliver us (1 John 1:9).  It is very, very simple.  Anyone, making it more complicated than this, is not teaching from the Gospel.

I don't see how that really addresses the substance of the OP.

It is this kind of approach that emboldens our enemies.   You seem to confuse how we should respond to Islam as a nation vs.  how we should respond to Islam as Christians.

We face a growing threat from Islam in our nation.   They are here to take us over.  They cannot defeat us militarily, so they are taking us over demographically through indoctrination in our schools, churches and prisons.  They are gaining access to our political system and are operating through that.   And our stupid politicians who are only concerned with re-election are sucking up to the Muslims and accommodating them over and over just in case they become a significant voting block.  Our politicians are selling us down river for the sake of getting re-elected.

Islam is a national threat.   They are not a threat to me spiritually, but they are threat to all of us on a national level and we need to respond to this threat as Americans.

The Bible puts a high premium on wisdom.   It instructs us to prepare ourselves for the future.  We trust God, but we also do what WE need to do to protect ourselves.   We buy insurance for our homes, our cars, and we buy health insurance and life insurance.   We lock our doors at night before going  to bed.   We don't presume on the protection of God and assume that we can throw caution to the wind and that God will protect us no matter what.

The same is true for the Islamic threat.   We trust God, but that doesn't mean we naively sit around and think that if we just "love"  the very ones who wish to annihilate us, that God will protect us.  It doesn't work that way, and it is a violation of Scripture to presume on the Lord and put him to the test.

Islamists have learned that we in the west, are really gullible and naiveté pours out of us in waves.  And they take full advantage of that.   We have no point of reference for an ideology that hates us because we exist.  It is something that most Americans can't conceive of, and can't believe that anyone would ever hate someone on that level.  So they assume that Muslims couldn't possibly hate us that much.

Americans can't conceive of an ideology that has no separation of religion and state.  They can't conceive of a religion that is also a government.  That's outside our wheel house.  For most Americans Islam is a religion like Buddhism or Hinduism or Christianity all of which can be observed while at the same time maintaining a separation from how our government operates.   We have a philosophy of governance and allows us to compartmentalize religion and state that Islam just doesn't have. It's because Islam doesn't have this kind of separation philosophy that they see us a Christian nation and since we are the world's #1 exporter of pornography, Muslims in other countries see pornography as "Christian."

Until we stop living in our little naïve, religious bubble and as long as we keep playing the same rules we have played by for decades, and Islam doesn't play those rules, we will lose our country to the Islamic ideology.   It's happening the UK and it's happening here. We need to wake up to reality.  They are using our own laws and our own freedoms against us and we need to start putting the good of our nation ahead of those who will use our freedoms and laws as a means to take away our freedoms and rights from us.

Yes it is and we are letting it happen.  it is the fruit of liberal progressive policies that sacrifice our sovereignty for political correctness.

There is a way that Evil enters human affairs and that is by Stealth .It  has become a danger because it is now a minority group 'protected from criticism ' , so  the dangers from Islamisization are kept under wraps  ,and  the undermining of our culture and religion will be established and complete ,and like in Germany ,the realisation of the extent of the damage, will be too late .

Islam over all is not compatible with our culture ,even if certain  individuals are  . It took me many years to realise that, as I treated everyone I met with kindness  Although  there are many good people in the religion the basic aims of those who rule over their minds,  wish to live in an entirely cultural manner and that  they hate us in fact

As Shiloh has said we can live side by side with other religions ,but not Islam .

Esther, you do know don't you that Islam already invaded Europe ,and it took centuries to unlodge it . Did you know that Istanbul in Turkey was christian ,and called Constantinople ? Also, that it is the stated aim of Islam to retake europe ,especially Spain .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
