Am I really not being plain enough so as to not be misunderstood?

  • I'm not talking about reduced ability to reason, or reduced intellect.

I said WITHOUT reason or intellect.  If there is no reason or intellect, then there is no ability to comprehend anything.

This means a COMPETE AND TOTAL ABSENCE of intellect and reason.

So with that in mind, can we try this again?

This is why I asked the question:

Do plants have reason and intellect?  Can they know and understand God's love?

your response seems to indicate you believe that plants have consciousness.   I asked you about this but never saw a response:

  •  are you suggesting a plant has consciousness and knows what it is doing and does so purposefully and deliberately?

Is this what you are suggesting?

Actually I don't want to get in anymore stupid conversations with you. You can flip all over the place but I'm not going with you anymore.

Stupid conversations?

You twist what others say and when they correct you, repeatedly, you condemn it as "stupid conversation" rather than admit your mistake and move forward or politely end the conversation?

ookie dokie!

I also do not see the conversation as you do either. Your niece has intellect and reason. Without which she would understand nothing, nor would anyone of us. I think what I am seeing here, is a matter of degree, being made an issue, rather than an absence altogether.

maybe your right. so do you think saving knowledge comes from intellect, reason, Study or does it come from God by His Spirit? cause I think its all him least any man boast.

bopeep: footnote:  in medical school we learned that no child is born with autism.  They have a test , a saliva test, they can do on the first day of birth, it indicates if the baby may get autism or not.

What medical school did you go to? There are many, many children being born with autism now.

How are you saying anything different than you did before? Can knowledge come to anyone without intellect? Can someone without reason, reason from the scripture?  Again I am seeing the division between having and not having being made again here.  And I am not understanding why?

I remember my first love......      long dark hair and a voice as sweet as honey....    we were probably about six years old for we were both in the first grade....

My second real love was Jesus and we are still together.....   and you just can't forget that.

My third real love I've been married to for 45 years....   and we share out love for Jesus with Jesus.

Why can you not just give a straight, coherent answer?  I was also reading and couldn't understand your rambling on about brain damage.  The bottom line is, without reason and intellect, we cannot understand anything. Referring to someone's conversation as 'stupid' because you don't understand what's going on is just rude.

Morning Glory do you think because you give straight short answers it is a superior way to communicate? The reason I am rambling is because the post and the scripture is about salvation being a work of God and Him providing everything we need for salvation. My rambling is to try to avoid coming straight out and saying no ones intellect, reasoning power or study will Get them into heaven. Jesus said in John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40 and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. There will be unlearned, uneducated people with learning disabilities and brain deformity's and autism, children, infants in heaven and there will be scholars with high reasoning skills and intelligence cast out. I was trying to step around the person because I fear she totally enjoys making people with disabilities look like fools so she could exalt her knowledge instead of be kind and speak of the Lord or His love. FYI The man with the legions torturing Him wasn't very rational or using intelligence but the Lord was able to restore him to a right mind and save Him.  Who needs the gospel Christs love and fellowship more then the confused and hurting? I'll just put people like her on ignore from now on. Are you one of them? I can just ignore you if you have knives to throw at people to show your superiority too.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
