has anyone other than me tried highlighting a couple sentences of the OP, then searching google for exact matches to it? like you might if you were looking to see if material had been plagiarized, or trying to find the source of a quote?

does the result of such a search mean anything to anyone . . ?

Some people live at home with their parents at an advanced age due to being a mild to high functioning autistic person or a person with Asperger's syndrome.

Some people have accounts on multiple sites and spam the same complaints everywhere - mostly about people in their lives not understanding or agreeing with them - not really looking for an answer, because they cannot communicate well, but to "feel" a part of the human race.

Some of these people I have encountered on two different sites - one where I am a moderator and its my job there to Google unusual posts to find trolls and/or those with disabilities so as to understand them better.

Some people will not even come back to their OP's and some people will and yet will never understand that I am making references to them.

Some people who suffer from autism and Asperger's are very, very literal and take much of what others say as lies or betrayals because they cannot synthesize anything beyond the literal, the brief, and/or the conversation targeted directly at what they are saying.

I did just that and found this posted on at least seven sites.  Either the OP copied it from one of them or she posts her drama on site after site.  Either way, I don't believe this thread is anything but an attention getting attempt for a social networking troll.

thanks,

this brings up an important idea my sister Lynn has been bothered by for a while now -- forums attract 'trolls' and Christian forums in particular, because the world hates Him. we're sheep among wolves - so He tells us to be gentle as doves and crafty as serpents - He doesn't teach us to be naive - we need to have discernment and exercise good judgement when strangers come around and make 'weird' posts. we shouldn't be taken in, or spend all our energy entertaining mockers, but we don't want to mistreat people who are genuine but appear trollish somehow - check the bathwater for babies, please..

but besides purposeful mischief-makers and mockers, and people genuinely looking for light, there's another category that could get mistakenly mistreated. there are people with mental problems and psychosis. maybe this person has clinical psychological problems, like you point out -- how do we recognize the difference between trolls and the mentally ill? how should that affect how we deal with people?

we're generally not people trained in psychology or behavioral analysis. if any of us are educated or gifted like this, or with discernment, we need to exercise the gift for everyone's benefit, because all the gifts of God are for the edification of all the body, and the need is there. the bigger and more active a Christian community gets, the more it becomes both a target for mockers who hate God and want to attack the church, and a magnet for the spiritually and literally broken.

if we are not to be naive, but need discernment and wisdom -- it's just all the more reason to keep in His presence all the time, praying and seeking Him, because in Him we find what we need. and to study and get understanding in everything, so we're not found wasting our energies or reacting foolishly.

something to think about :)

ionBlessings,,,

I'm perplexed,I don't know what this conversation is doing in the Inner Court,it sounds like "he said/she said" for the outside parking lot,,,,,honestly & I hope I am not sounding offensive but it is my opinion,,,,,,,

I cannot see anything in the entire scenario that gives Glory to God ,is worth your anxiety, stress or time,,,,,,,,,,,,,this person seems to want to nit-pick & argue just for the sake of argueing,,,,,,,is this the type of fellowship you desire? I don't particularly like "Sushi" either but there are plenty of other choices on the menu like "stir-fry" foods, tempura & a variety of things,,,,the idea of going out with "friends" is to enjoy each others company & usually when Christians "gather",,,,,,,,God is in the midst, even when 2 or more are gathered in His Name,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I didn't hear the Lords Name come up at all in that discussion,,,,,,,

I suggest you be more selective in choosing who you want to socialize with, choose to be around o His"God centered people",,,,,,they think less about themselves & more about our Lord & others,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you are a child of God Most High, look to His Word about who you should be spending your time with.......

Proverbs 18:24

A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

Proverbs 27:5-6

Better is open rebuke Than love that is concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

Proverbs 12:26

The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Proverbs 13:20

He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm.

Proverbs 22:24-25

Do not associate with a man given to anger; Or go with a hot-tempered man, Or you will learn his ways And find a snare for yourself.

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

2 Corinthians 6:14

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Proverbs 14:6-7

A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding. Leave the presence of a fool, Or you will not discern words of knowledge.

If were me. I would have dumped them like a hot potato in one day lol. I have to many things to do and no time for it lol. I know it sounds harsh but you can count on it. You know when you start to do things on your own. You won't seem so needy.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
