Commercial Babylon.

The woman, mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots is ruling over all peoples, nations and tongues, and has been since the beginning.  She herself is not a physical nation, a people, or a land, because she is "spiritual" not physical, and she has made all the nations drunk since the beginning because of that wine she has been giving the nations to drink  (teachings)

She is Satan's woman, wake up.  She is spiritual and has been feeding the world all her lies since the beginning. She makes men go after the material lusts of the flesh,..everything that this world can provide that will eventually rust and decay, she can provide and the world love what she offers.  Because the world only care for the physical, they forget God because her teachings squeeze God out of the picture.

Out of all these peoples, nations and tongues that she rules over, even kingdoms that have risen with great kings, she has ruled over them too.  The last kingdom of man that she will reign over will be her last.  This is the beast with the 10 horns.  It's this empire that will be her last, because during the days of these kings, Christ will come and destroy.

God is warning us, his people to come out of her (Babylon), for he is going to destroy her whole system.  He does not want us to be joined to her in anyway, caring for all her material things because that would make us "lukewarm", one foot in Zion, and one foot in Babylon.

The time is coming when we have to let go of all the material things we possess, especially when the mark of the beast comes.  If we still care in our hearts for all those material things, we will not be able to let go of her and lose our souls instead in order to save the material. 

It's this last kingdom with the 10 horns that will issue the Mark of the Beast, so don't be joined to her,...refuse everything she has to offer, to keep your house, your car, your clothing, your food, and even your life, .....come out of her and chose Christ instead.  Refuse all she has to offer.

Just to recap -

This great city consists of – An evil Philosophy – idolatry.

So we are looking at the `evil philosophy` of the `woman on the beast.`  We see that all the nations drank of her `wine,` her evil philosophy,` (idolatry),  they became seduced & deluded by her poisonous charms. (Rev. 18: 23 AMP.)

Now I believe this `evil philosophy` is being taught through the UN.

Last year the UN launched its new global initiative, a new universal agenda for humanity. They set ambitious goals for areas such as economics, health, energy, education, agriculture, gender equality & a whole host of other issues.

They proclaim that this Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet & prosperity. All countries & all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan. This is literally a blueprint for transforming global society. And it will be the excuse to micromanage the lives of every man, woman & child on the entire globe.

This is officially known as Transforming our world:  the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is popularly known as the SDG`s Sustainable Development Goals or the Future We Want. (says it all, ay)

For this agenda to be enacted, then people need to be motivated & directed in their behaviour. This is the `teaching` aspect of this `evil philosophy.`

And this `evil philosophy` aspect comes through a specialised agency of the UN – the UNESCO – the United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organisation, (read – religion, philosophy).  It is through this agency throughout the world, in schools, hospitals, businesses, etc etc that their philosophy is taught. Every aspect of our society has to learn these moral values & behaviours.

` respect, responsibility, understanding, co-operation, citizenship, altruism, empathy justice, inclusiveness, tolerance....etc.`

 

Now we think those moral values are good, however they are not taught in a Christian context but in a Global context.

 

..................CHRISTIAN CONTEXT................................GLOBAL CONTEXT.

Respect – for what God calls good............................for earth centred values.

Responsibility – to God first.....................................to the collective community.

Understanding – from God`s perspective................from Global perspective.  

Co-operation – according to God`s plan..................according to changing rules.

Altruism – God`s love thr` us to others....................mandatory `voluntary` service.

Empathy – compassion for the needy......................oneness with all.

Justice _ fair trial, compensation for wrong.............socialist equality, redistribution.

 

An international `Declaration on Tolerance` prepared by UNESCO & signed by member nations, defined the new global standard.`  all nations would be responsible for fulfilling this international contract by teaching the `right` kind of tolerance.

They believe that everyone must embrace the right values, demonstrate the right character, & become the right kind of citizen or lose the social benefits only awarded those who comply.

This is the universal philosophy (religion) that affects everyone, everywhere. It seemingly brings everyone together, being tolerant of each other & their lifestyles. It will lead the people of the world to accept a Global Government with a Global community, trusting that those in charge will bring a better world. No wonder the leaders desiring to dominate & control, use this philosophy & the people are made  `drunk` with it – not being in their right mind – deceived.  

`Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, & the inhabitants were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.` (Rev. 17: 1 & 2)

I agree.  We may be in the world but we don't have to love the things of the world.  A very relevant warning as the end time events will have us demonstrate who we love.

Hi Spock,

Yes it is a good discussion. Now what I see is that Christians tend to be looking for a `religion` like RCC or the interfaith movement & thus they are missing the `moral values` that permeate every aspect of our society. As we see they are taught through the UNESCO agency of the UN, & have legal authority.

If people don`t recognise this wolf in sheep`s clothing then they will get bitten, be caught unawares, & even think that `tolerance for all` is a good value, thus having no fences for security of the young & vulnerable, (ie. accepting all life styles – you know the alphabetic soup of sexual preferences).

Berit Kjos has been exposing the UN & UNESCO`s agenda for years. If people want to get details she has written great articles which can be obtained from her web site – Kjos ministries.

Hi Spock,

Now I want to show you something very interesting. Because the UN is in NYC I assumed that UNESCO`s headquarters were there also. But, no. Then I added a few  institutions that are major to the Global Government & see what I came up with.

 

World Philosophy - moral values.

Europe (Paris, France) – UNESCO

 

Economic – Major Financial institutions.

Europe ( Basel, Switzerland) – BIS, Bank for International Settlements) Overriding bank of all central banks, treasury secretaries, regulators, insurance supervisors, deposit insurers & accountants.

Europe (Basel, Switzerland) – FSB, Financial Stability Board. It regulates & oversees the Global financial institutions.

America (NYC) – IMF, the International Monetary Fund. (I believe on track to soon be the reserve currency of the world & then probably moved to Europe.)

Another interesting detail focussing on Europe being the centre of Commercial Babylon & the Religious (Philosophical) aspect is -

The dominant pictorial aspect of the False Prophet, & his European Hegemony is a woman riding on a multi-horned Beast. (Rev. 17: 3) It seems beyond the realm of coincidence that postage stamps commemorating the `second election European Parliament` depicted exactly that prediction.

It is all coming together, the economic & religious (evil philosophy) in Europe. Finally all the infrastructure will move to `Shinar,` Iraq, (Babylon) as Zech. 5: 11 tells us. However now we are seeing the institutions being empowered & taking control of the world`s finances. I would watch what the IMF does later this year & next. Will it also go to Europe?

Just like to throw this out there for everyone. You all know that I contend that he Great Harlot of Rev. 17 and Babylon of Rev. 18 are different entities. I pretty much have found the "smoking gun" that  proves this.  TO WIT:

Rev. 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Rev. 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

OK, these can not be the same entity, for two reasons, one I just now caught. The first reason is in Rev. 17 the Kings hate the Harlot. But in Rev. 18 the Kings cry and mourn for Babylons demise.

Secondly, in Rev. 17 the Great Harlot is destroyed by the Kings. (Just noticed this) And in Rev. 18 Babylon is destroyed by Plagues, which are no doubt of God.

I see two aspects to Babylon.  The first being the kingdom of Satan and its influence on the world, and the second being a literal city which embodies their doctrine of demons.

The city is destroyed by the ten leaders.  The kingdom of Satan is cast down at the return of Christ.  I see that "regime change" as the focal point of OT as well as NT prophecy. . . out with the kingdom of Satan and in with the kingdom of God.
