Depends on what kind of adverse circumstance. Sometimes a lot of prayer . But other times direct action I think. But always prayer and trust in God's power.

Many people say that praising God in adverse circumstances is not "realistic". But is moping, complaining, grumbling, and being oppressed with an impending sense of doom and gloom honestly more "real" than having hope – when the truly good and living God is always active in our world and on our side?

How has despair, worry and anxiety been working for us anyway? "Keeping it real", from the angle of some -- will only keep us in defeat!

When you magnify God deliberately enough to be able to see and then praise Him in the most adverse conditions...a dunamis power of God can be released to burst into circumstances and even liberate the 'prisoners' around you.

"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened" (Acts 16:25-26).

Pray and ask God to help us and guide us and direct us in whatever we are going through. Then sit back and see where God leads us.

WHEN IN TROUBLE OR IN DOUBT~RUN IN CIRCLES SCREAM AND SHOUT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Obviously just kidding-- depending on how adverse or how quickly it happens--  stop, inhale, say "Lord, help"--

if time permits Bible reading and extended specific prayer is a great weapon, but in emergencys- "Lord ,Help"-- works just fine-- he will fills in the blanks~~

Blessings Albert

Good Thread.....I learned a long time ago that the Almighty God I serve,He Who First Loved me,is NOT a God of circumstance.....I stand on His Word,I rely on Him & I know that He is Faithful in His Promises.....

He Will never leave or forsake me!

    Nothing is impossible for Him!

I can do ALL things in Christ Who Strengthens me!

I can cast my cares on Him,His yoke is easy & His burden is light!

He tells me to not worry about tomorrow because today has enough cares of it's own

He is my Salvation,my Deliverer,my Rock,my Refuge,my Strong Tower,Provider,Healer,Comforter,;Prince of Peace...........& that's just for starters!!!           HALLELUYAH!!!! Praise Jesus!

                                                                                                                                                           With love,in Christ,Kwik
