Jesus said to His disciples to make disciples of all nations.   If you are not His disciple, you don't belong to Jesus.   Believers are called to His disciples.   If you reject that, you're not a believer or a disciple.

That is self-claim in tune with Paul. You want to hear Jesus on discipleship?

Luke 14
26 "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

27 Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

33 So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

Not the translations but the actual Greek... γεννηθη ανωθεν.

There is a footnote in NASB that indicates that born-again can be translated as born from above also.

Sure it can, and that is exactly what being born again entails...being born from above.

We were born of flesh and blood (natural birth), we need to be born again/from above a spiritual rebirth. Our spirit is renewed from above.

Born from above sounds better. People are claiming to be born again with some external gestures going through some rituals administered by people down on earth.

Being born again is purely a work of God (from above)...a spiritual rebirth.

Yes, I mean the same.

Yes, Gospel need to be preached to both Muslims and Jews. Muslims have a better standing than Jews because Mohammed recognizes Jesus as the apostle of God and had virgin birth.

Muslims believe in a false Christ. Jesus is no apostle. They also deny that He is God the Son

Have you read Koran? It is against claiming Jesus as the Son, but not against His preaching in totality. Mohammed did not accept the Son as God which many Christians do. You cannot completely rule out 'Allah' as the Supreme God since he quotes many OT verses.

Of course, Jews believe our God, but reject Jesus in totality. Mohammed recognized Him as an apostle or as a prophet that is better than total rejection. Mohammed was more against Jews than Christians. In fact, he visited the St. Catherine monastery in Sinai offering protection to monks there.

Knowing, not accepting Jesus as Lord and God come in the flesh for sinful men is a total rejection of Christ. Merely accepting Him as an apostle and prophet (which He WASNT anyway) is not "better", its worse, because it demotes Him to mere mortal status. And as for "Allah" quoting OT verses, even Satan can quote Scripture for his own purposes

What a wacky thought! So Jesus Christ came in vain and spent nearly three and a half years in preaching of no value! God forbid such thoughts. This is a typical approach of nominal Christians if I may say so. So you think the OT holds the way to salvation? You want to send the gospel books to the dust bin then?

The OT does hold the way to salvation; it points the way to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. NO ONE said that His preaching was of no value.

So according to your thinking, Jesus should have appeared, walked to cross and died. Simple isn't it?  No salvation for those who do not keep His commandments and grow the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus is the way, life and truth. Not simple magic formula of belief with one verse! If so, He will deny you.

Jesus' only mission on earth was to die for our sins. And keeping God's commandments doesnt save us as if our good works are all we need to be saved. Because We are all born sinners Jesus Christ because that Paschal lamb, taking the sins of the world upon His shoulders and died for us.

I believe Jesus as the Son of God as claimed by Him. The coinage 'God the Son' is non-biblical and blasphemous.
