These were my thoughts exactly.  This thread is up to 13 pages and I'm surprised nobody responded to your logical analysis.

If all dead babies automatically go to Heaven, then it would seem a blessing to die as a baby.

But some adults who end up in Hell would have ended up instead in Heaven if only another had murdered them as an infant???

This seeming paradox causes me to wonder if, in the end, Jesus saves everyone.

Ah, but John 3:18 negates universalism.

1 Timothy 4:10 and 1 John 2:2 tempered by John 3:18 shows that everyone has the [potential] to be saved but not all are saved. Believers are saved. Unbelievers are condemned already.

The cross of Christ is the focal point.

And with God's omniscience, when it is factored in to the death of people before they have a chance to believe... at least in my humble opinion*,  God can see if they would have believed had they been given the chance. Conversely, I believe*, none in all history have perished eternally who would not have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ anyway. God is the Great Orchestrator.

* "my opinion / my belief" does not mean it is fact or that I am claiming it is absolutely true, it is simply what I personally think / feel / believe.

The real tragedy, IMHO*, is there are millions if not billions of people who were born and end up in hell who never even had to be born, except that Christians tend not to take our ministries as seriously as we should.

My point is, if there is a certain set number of people who are to be saved throughout all history (the time of the Gentiles, if you will), and if we evangelized the hell out of the world exponentially as we should have been doing  (Matthew 28:19-20) with each one of us as priests (Revelation 1:6 Revelation 5:10 1 Peter 2:3-9) with ministries of our own (1 Corinthians 12:12-30) perhaps the Great Orchestrator could have placed all who would believe in a much closer generational proximity (say the first two or three centuries).

Instead, we are worldly. We fear reprisal. We fear someone else knows more about what they believe than we do (and they might trip us up). ← that is only because we haven't bothered to learn the truth because we actually do believe the truth. We haven't studied the Bible in earnest. We've prioritized the things of life and lifestyle above our calling and ministry. We want to get along with everybody. And we allow ourselves to be taught we are only laity and not priests of God in Christ. That way we can pass the buck on to the "payed believers."

There is one or more reference by YHWH to unclean children (any age?  perhaps) ...... in HIS WORD.

There is likewise some support that babies go to heaven,  and that they don't,  in HIS WORD.

A lot of people seem to think it is already known or determined one way or the other.(but not by HIS WORD).

“Blessed (be) the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly (places) in Christ: even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:3-6) ASV

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” (2 Timothy 1:9-10) KJV

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Revelation 17:8)

Well, another way to look at the abortion matter is that it insures babies return to God and don't have to navigate this world of sin after they, once born, would have as sinners. Whose fate, salvation, damnation, God only knows.

Who gives you the right to make that decision?

I think the nail was hit on the head when stated infants are too young to decide sin from righteousness

Some actually will take it farther as the age of 20 being the age of discernment as when the tribes were counted in the book of Numbers all men were counted over the age of 20 and above

But infants I do not have a doubt unlike the RCC that teaches all of us are born into sin and an infant must be baptized because he/ she is a sinner, my own belief is that infants can’t make that choice to sin on their own and will certainly go to the Father

No one has the right to decide that a child shouldn't be born and die instead.  Abortion is an abomination.

Deuteronomy 18:10

No one among you is to make his son or daughter pass through the fire, practice divination, tell fortunes, interpret omens, practice sorcery,

the world can change the name DEMON to SPIRIT GUIDE

and witches and sorcerers to CHANNELERS OR MEDIUMS

to make it sound more pleasing and acceptable but abortion is just another name for child sacrifice

my ex got one when I was younger I even worked for planned parenthood I saw what it did to these people that have to live with those decisions, it’s haunting to some and to others it’s just a form of birth control

in my case I never knew it took place until it was done, she said she had a cist, but I couldn’t support a child I was lost in lawlessness even so it is troubling how the world changes things to ‘fit’ it’s corrupted ways into making it acceptable.. sad really, there are plenty of good people that want kids out in this world

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
