What will probably happen is someone will back a new network and those who have left Fox will take most of their viewing audience with them...  Question is will sponsors advertise there.  That is what has made things happen at Fox.   Advertisers left the programs and that happens from pressure from the establishment.

This is really a bloodless civil war....last   and the bloodless part hasn't really completely held.

And looks like the Republicans are going to succumb to pressures from big money once more.

It makes me wonder how many will abdicate because they can't cover the expense of the law suits they are included in only because they knew too much.  

Bill fell in my estimation when he openly showed so much leering admiration for Lady Ga Ga, yet claimed to be a good family man and Catholic.  

But I am sure that these things go on and worse among the left wing producers and broadcasters.  The left is just not as apt to be outraged by it all.  Look at Hollywood and the famous "producer's couch".  How many movie starlets have brought suit against their producers?  Yet they claim to champion the woman's rights movement.

The thing is, this stuff is happening and we don't know the facts about the allegations.   FOX News settled the O'Reilly case to get it out of the news.  O'Reilly didn't pay the $13 Million. FNC did.   And so we have a lot of allegations, that never went to trial, never got really investigated or cross examined in a court of law.   No legal discovery, nothing.   No real evidence.   They paid off Megyn Kelly to go to NBC where they have her basically siting a the kiddie table  compared to what she is doing.    They paid off Great Van Susteran to go to MSNBC.   O'Reilly, I am starting to think, was given a raw deal.   The only one left is Sean Hannity of that original evening line up.   And now they are going after him.   They are taking down FOX one anchor at a time.

It just hit me....I wonder if Gretchen Carlson is related to Tucker Carlson?  I think Greta Van Susteran was let go over money issues though; she didn't get a pay out.  Kelly  is a big 'good riddance'.  But you may be right; someone could be taking them down one by one.

Bogged down?  No.  But FNC is about half of my news so it's pretty important to me that it stays on the air without the liberal talking heads that the other networks employ.  I don't know how it is in NZ but here....most of the media is corrupt and biased.

I prefer Tucker over O'Rielly who had to be informed by Laura Ingram almost weekly what Christians and Catholics believe. I suspect O'Rielly was a liberal Christian (not politically, liberal christianity is like a humanist hybrid with Biblical morals). 

I think the witchhunt has ended, Hannity routedthe  allegatuons thanks to his lawyers and the public opinion that Sexual allegations were only being aimed at FNC anchors.

They are hiring very liberal contributors now.  The Murdoch sons are dismantling what their father built, while he is still alive.    FOX is becoming more and more liberal.  Murdoch's sons are embarrassed by FOX in front of their liberal, elitist, progressive friends and pretty soon there will never be a conservative voice in the cable news any longer.
