Day of Silence

At my school and other schools across the country, there i sgoign to be a homosexual day of siilence. ONe of the former presidents protected gay rights so there could be no discrimination. I am in high school, and i was wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to perotest this

As I mentioned to you in chat, a prayer meeting with other Christians in your school, even if you have to hold it off campus and not during school hours. You might also talk to your parents and ask them to allow you to stay home that day. Perhaps you can wear a button that day that says you do not support that lifestyle. I know from our talk that you cant do this, but perhaps someone else in your situation might want to wear a button that has scripture against homosexuality.

Another thought kitty, can you compose a letter of protest to the school board regarding this indoctrination to that lifestyle? Just a polite letter about how this goes against your beliefs.

I heartedly commend you for taking a stand Kitty, and for honoring your parents wishes not to be suspended for doing so either.

Ayin Jade had some good suggestions. What came to my mind though was gathering as many christians as you can and before school, during breaks/lunch and after school that day you could gather in front of the school and face it with your hands stretched out to it and pray over it.

oh yes, jadey, we hav already written a letter to teh principle cncernign this and asking her about the best emthods to go about protesting this.

You can speak out proudly that your a homosexual, but if you say your proud to be a heterosexual, you get suspended. The public school systems in this country are in a sad state of affairs. And it all started when school prayer was banned.

I am in Anne ARundel Country, and i promise never to teach in a public school. THis just helps with that decision.
