It seems that you can get away with murder using the legal system which is supposed to protect the innocent. As in the case of Terri Schivo who was literally starved to death because her husband wished it to be.

Who is next? Grandma and Grandpa? Why not ? Haven't they become a drain on the system? Aren't they an "inconvienence"? How about a premie? Obivously born too early and having problems? How about the mentally ill? or the homeless? or those who just don't "fit in" to society? What is to stop this from happening?

Its already happening in other parts of the world. Gennocide, infantacide, suicide occurs overseas in other countries. How long before its an acceptable practice here in the US too?

You may think I am ranting here but folks this is important. We already abort unwanted babies and the next step (Terri Schivao) has been taken. For what reason?

Do those babies or Terri present a threat to society? NO Do they need love and care and food? YES but so does anyone else on this planet too.

Think about it for a while. What about if you were unable to communicate your wishes and someone wanted to pull the plug on you too by denying you basic care as food and water? It was not a pretty way to go and would have been far humaner to just give her a shot to put her to sleep like we do the inmates on death row. I don't advocate the taking of life just making a comparison here.

What can we do to change this?

All the government pretense aside: Soon with the Baby Boomers aging, our Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid will be overwhelmed. This is their way of getting us used to pulling the plug on 'hopeless cases' to save a few bucks in the system....... Governments are filthy things.

The only I can think about this MAYBE not happening to you, is to have a written will. Now of course, this world is so twisted that it might find a way to ignore your will, who knows.

This world belongs to Satan. What are we to expect from it. God will destroy it.

In the meantime, we, christians, are to proclaim our Savior to all in order to plant a seed in people's heart for God to make it grow. We are in a constant spiritual war and we are to use our God-given gifts to shed light in this world of darkness.

Pray for judgement on our government. This is in the spiritual realm of our Lord, and I think beyond our doing anything about it. If it is the beast rising then it is meant to be this way and what we'll do about it is die. It is how we go that will matter, and He has promised that even if they kill us not a hair on our heads will perish....... that's assuming you have hair on your head....

I got this from prophesy news watch

Dutch Gov't Considers Expanding Euthanasia to Handicapped, Infants

The Dutch government, the first to legalize euthanasia for some terminally ill people, will tackle an even thornier ethical dilemma: what to do when doctors say it is best to end the lives of infants, the mentally handicapped or the demented.

Euthanasia opponents view the idea with horror, but The Royal Dutch Medical Association believes guidelines and a panel of experts should be created to vet such cases.

Health Secretary Clemence Ross, who has opposed expanding the current euthanasia rules, will send an opinion to Parliament in three or four weeks, said her spokesman, Richard Lancee.

If Ross approves, doctors acting with the families' permission would not be punished for administering lethal sedatives to "people with no free will," in cases that pass review.

Under current law, euthanasia is restricted to terminal patients suffering unbearable pain with no hope of improvement, and who request to die when they are of sound mind. Each case is reviewed by a panel of medical experts.

The new proposal calls for a similar panel for patients who cannot express themselves, with the addition of a judge or court official, giving a legal veneer to a practice that technically would remain illegal.

For advocates, the issue is one of transparency: Past studies have shown that doctors already carry out a handful of such euthanasia cases each year.

In the best known example, the Groningen Medical Center announced last year it euthanized four severely ill newborns in 2004, under guidelines known as "the Groningen Protocol"

It started with abortion and now has expanded to include euthanasia. Next thing will be legalized is doctor assisted suicide. The future is not looking to bright on this planet. I hope Jesus Christ returns soon.

I think this dear soul has touched the hearts of many as we watched and prayed over her these past weeks. The implications of her treatment are just as you said hmh. The wide spread publication of her case and condition will no doubt be the fuel for other problems to arise. The Judge ignoring congress was just another test of Judicial power. The Supreme Court Judges set the pace for that. They are taking upon themselves more authority than our constitution gives them, yet they go unchallenged with any real congressional authority.

My heart goes out to her family tonight. I pray the Lord gives them strength for the days ahead and comforts them in their pain.

Lord, we praise You for You alone are God, and we thank You for all Your mighty acts. How awesome are You Father! I ask You tonight that You forgive us our gross sin against You. Lord You are a loving and merciful God. Forgive our nation for allowing so much to creep in that is against You and Your holiness, righteousness and purity. Forgive us, Father. Make us once again a nation that puts You first and above all else. Help us to return to You with hearts filled with praise and gratitude, with the knowledge that we are a needy people. Needy of a God who alone is the reason we are and who alone is the reason our nation has prospered above other nations. Forgive us Lord for the gross sin of pride and help us walk humbly with You Lord. Help us to yield to Your word, the living word of God, and abide in You as we wait daily upon You and sit close to You wanting to know You more. Fill us, Lord, with an awe at who You are and let your peace, mercy anf goodness be in the daily lives of all who reach out to You. In Jesus name I pray, Father. Touch Terrie's family tonight, Lord. Bless them and help them through this season of grief in their lives. Bring them comfort and strength. I thank You Abba, for You are worthy and You are the Lord that knows and hears and answers His children. I love You Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I don't know if it's so much the government as it is the special interest groups. It seems to me that they've made themselves redundant by making everything a special interest.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
