There are signs all around us. We must pray and stay alert. Will they increase before Christ comes back for His Church? God knows who are worthy because He knows the heart. Man can not fool God. Those who are worthy will not see the wrath of the seven year tribulation.

John 3:36  He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Miss Muffet I think it's the bowls of God's wrath he keeps us from not the tribulation. The hour of trial is the wrath of God pour out in full fury.

If a partial rapture is true then Paul could not have spoken so confidently (about their salvation) of those who had already fallen asleep.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
(1Th 4:13-17)

SING IT PEOPLES.    Fear not what is coming .   whether we live or  die ., those who are Christs.............ARE HIS amen.

INDEED. for while we ARE APPOINTED UNTO TRIBULATION from the world........we are NOT appointed unto. GODS WRATH.

wayne , read second thess chapter one.   read it over and over again.   IT IS SO CLEAR we do go through tribulation , and notice the TIMING of our deliverance

WHEN the LORD JESUS RETURNS we get rest , but the world gets WRATH.  just read it over and over again.   ITS SO CLEAR.  you are correct.

I read Christ said watch and pray that you may be WORTHY  to escape all these things and stand before the son of man.  So that must mean we have to qualify to be safe from the worldwide troubles. Is being a Christian enough ? Terrible things on coming SOON.. I think almost for sure the very end times are just about here. It's scary to think are we worthy like Christ warm all. He said watch meaning be careful how you are living. Holy lives or lives, filled with the cares of the world. Praying to be close to God and to intercede for others and for the gospel. It will come like the Lord said all of a sudden.

Hi Wayne,

I believe Jesus was talking to Israel of there future in Luke 21: 34)

And I believe the Head of the Body, the Lord Jesus Christ, tells us -

`Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober....for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him, Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.` (1 Thess. 5: 6 - 11)

regards, Marilyn.

Well I can never think of myself as having made it. But if you are devoted in prayer each day. And are judging yourself each day . You should be making progress. And,I don't mean in a legalistic way. Praying from the heart. But I don't think Jesus means perfection either.Jesus I think will lead us in the right path if we follow him too. It's not easy. But our righteousness is from the lord.

It's not easy, for sure. As, we are not able. But, HE is able to keep us. Our rock, our fortress. our deliverer.

2Ti_1:12  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

I have to admit, I've read a number of commentaries on Luke 21: 36 by respected scholars, and I'm still not exactly certain of the meaning, and the commentaries vary greatly. I do believe it is talking about the tribulation and the escape of the Rapture, but being found worthy, the context seems to be Jesus is talking to believers (Christians)? I have my own suspicions of what it might mean, but not being sure I'd rather not speculate.

Another passage I have difficulty understanding in its correct context is, Hebrews 10: 26-27

There are end time scriptures i have prayed about and struggled with for years.

Ok, which specific Scriptures tell me I am 'on fire enough' to be taken in the rapture? What degree of 'hotness' until I have that assurance? Just give me two.

He said pray and watch. So if you pray and watch . Your ok. It's not perfection. It's devotion.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
