Youtube the anti-ChristHi, Just a bit of exaggeration to make a point, and ask a question of some that  are better informed as to how the cyber world works

Do you think  buying Youtube tv as a replacement for Cable tv  service will be much like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire?

Do I really want Youtube popping up ads on the side of my television program viewing? Do I want my tv viewing habits linked to my internet use by them? Aren't they a little anti-Christ already?

There is a reason why YouTube has to be approved on this site.  That alone should cause one to wonder.  I don't have any experience with YouTube TV, in fact, I never hear of it.  If it is like their web site, I would never ever use it for TV.  It's bad enough when I go to YouTube and look for instructional videos and some of their very sleazy videos pop up on the side menu due to YouTube thinking for me.

I have always looked for, but cannot find, a company that allows one to select the channels they want and receive only those channels instead of the 100+ channels where HD is an extra cost.  All companies force you to purchase packages.  They force their decision onto you instead of you being allowed to choose what you want to see.  Imagine what the networks would be forced to do if a company like that came into play.  I'm not even sure how profitable it would be for a company like that, but I am sure they would get a good chunk of business if they did not price gouge.

Youtube has saved me tons of money in many how to do applications and things.  From auto repair to sight seeing around the world for free.   You have to choose your contents wisely and make decisions that you think makes sense.  Yes there is a lot of crap there too,  but it is a medium where every and anyone who has an account can place tips, ideas and or misleading materials.    Still i would never go back to the idiot box, where you are paying for commercials and programmed for you viewing.   Youtube is great. Just use it wisely and not get carried away.

I do not know what it is like in USA. I watch YouTube movies on the Internet. Most of them are very good. Christian movies there as well.

There are lots of documentaries from National Geographic, and other providers that are just awesome.  I have learnt a lot about different countries, their cultures and economies and see real life situations that you may not even get with paid programming.   Last month, i watched some videos of Russian citizens showing their towns and villages and just loved it.  I don't think i could get those kind of videos anywhere else, except i go there myself, which i don't foresee in my lifetime.  I also watched some videos on how those massive ships are taken apart after their end of life service and is just fascinating stuff.    Mainstream media on the other hand is just a package designed for you too.....   Youtube is cool and there is a wealth of information and how to's there to better your daily living.  As i said before, choose wisely.   There is also enough content there, so you are never bored.

Yes, i do my own alterations on my pants ect.  The bobin would not take up the thread and i am not an expert or was trained on the machine. Went on the tube and got my answer, in fact several videos. Other than that, i would have had to take the machine in for repairs.   Youtube is also seen by some professionals as robbing them of income as it has provided solutions  to the common man that you would have to pay the pros.  For many who are struggling to make ends meet, this is a blessing, while i can sympathize with the shop owners ect.

Peace:

It is the normal paranoia...meanwhile Goolag data-mines everyone and sells that info, pretending to be your friend.

When ya buys a gun and shoots a bullet, it is up to you how that is done.

'Tube is just such a commodity in this our (hopefully for a while longer) free country.
Choose browsers and search engines wisely, they are the ones that set up the 'Tube ads.

Like others, I have been helped in many tedious tasks by judicious application of 'Tube information.

There are many Christian shows too, some would not be available without the 'Tube.

I don't know if it is around anymore, but there was a site called GodTube. It was like YouTube but only had Christian base videos.  But I have not come across it in a while so I do not know if it is still up and running or even if GodTube is the right name.

Might want to read the opening post a little more carefully.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
