Why did the Bible stop

Last night I posted the post above. This morning I read my Daily Bread lesson called "Unlikely Friends". The scripture reading was from Isaiah 11:1-1o

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together. Isaiah 11:6

Refection     I am calling attention to the time of the New Millennium. which I posted last night. We could say its a coincidence except that I have shared many of these even here on this forum. God wants so much so talk to us and all we need to do is listen. Always pray in Spirit and in Truth. They are miracles of love from the Father that the worldly cannot appreciate, but you can   John 14:17 

 Writers reflection      When I view such heartwarmingly unusual friendships, it reminds me of the description of the garden of Eden. In this setting, Adam and Eve lived in harmony with God and each other. And because God gave them plants for food, I imagine even the animals lived peacefully together (Genesis 1:30). But this idyllic scene was disrupted when Adam and Eve sinned (3:21–23). Now in both human relationships and the creation, we see constant struggle and conflict.

God can help us to restore broken relationships.

Yet the prophet Isaiah reassures us that one day, “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together” (11:6). Many interpret that future day as when Jesus comes again to reign. When He returns, there will be no more divisions and “no more death . . . or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4). On that renewed earth, creation will be restored to its former harmony and people of every tribe, nation, and language will join together to worship God (7:9–10; 22:1–5).

Until then, God can help us to restore broken relationships and to develop new, unlikely friendships.

Dear Father, help us to break down barriers and to seek to befriend others; and as we do, enable us to be bearers of the gospel of peace.

What kind of "authoritative".

Men of God,  and women of God,  have been authoritative abiding in Jesus, obeying God without compromise (unlike most men and most women), 

healing others,  driving out demons any time or place they went ,  sharing the GOOD NEWS, the GOSPEL of JESUS,

building up the body of Christ ,  attacking the false prophets and false teachers and exposing the false teachings around the world and locally,  

raising children who do not lie , nor do drugs, nor commit sexual acts before marriage (nor approve of those who do), nor drink (alcholol),  nor commit idolatry (which is rampant today, worldwide among the churches opposed to Jesus) ...

Oh,  and as written:   speaking the word of the Father,  and doing what He does, as Jesus trained all the disciples following Jesus in the last 2000 years to do.  "making disciples"  (a lot of people here, and today everywhere,  have never , ever, heard nor seen this anywhere in their lives )

Good thought there sis. False prophets add or take away from God`s word while a true prophets will `expound` upon God`s word, - encourage, exhort and edify the listener. I was brought up with prophets and prophecy and always remember that the words spoken lifted up the Lord or expounded some aspect of the Lord, His character.

Most so called prophecies today are like `fortune telling,` or strange ideas, from someone`s imagination. 

Beware - let`s always remember that - `the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.` (Rev. 19: 10)

SO many in the churches , the false one are under a spirit of divination .

And they have folks believing their lies cause they still say JESUS is Lord .

Want to hear something scary , and this should scare the day lights out of some who have been followowing wicked false prophets but thinking they men of righteuosness

just cause they say JESUS is LORD>

LETS GO TO ACTS and witness something that might scare the socks off some .

Can a evil spirit of divination say TRUTH as well.   YOU BET IT CAN.

their was a lady who had the spirit of divination ,who had brought her masters much gain by soothesaying.

She followed us and CRIED these MEN SHOW UNTO US THE WAY OF SALVATION

she did this for a few days, THEN PUAL TURNED AND TOLD THAT SPIRIT come out OF HER.    but ,   bb   bu  ,  bbu   bu what........YEAH

these false men do the same today , they deceive the crowds as well.

I hear this a lot.  That is speaking of the Book of Revelation only, as the very first line states "The Revelation of Jesus Christ".  At the end of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Jesus Himself states

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Notice it clearly states "written in this book.".  There are 66 different books in our canon.  The warning appears in only one book.

The question was why did the Bible stop.  I was speaking of the authority and genuineness of Scripture.  The early church leaders looked for them to be written by one of the Apostles and attested to by the followers if those apostles as being that person's teaching and style.  They also looked for the harmony of the content with the rest of the Bible.  Scripture does not conflict with itself but confirms itself.  So when I say authoritative I mean authentic and the author being the Holy Spirit.  

Many so called gospels were written a century or more after Christ but they were fiction and gnostic in character.  Fakes.

And we know many writings are fake.  HOW.............cause when they contradict what was FIRST written for our admonition.   THEY FALSE , FALSE , FALSE  and FALSE

their four times should suffice.  NOW if one speaks or writes and it contradicts not what was written, then fine .

This is tradition, in error,  ,  not Gospel, and not with any authority, not from YHVH, nor YHVH'S WORD,  and has caused great error to be propagated for nearly 2000 years.

The Scribes and Pharisees who opposed Jesus all knew the Bible very well,  .... it did not help them. 

A later post mentioned knowing the 'voice'.....  that is better,  and true - as written all of Jesus sheep KNOW HIS VOICE and will not follow the voice of another.... 

i.e. there are a lot of 'voices' here in this thread and on this forum.   Do not listen to any voice that is opposed to JESUS VOICE  Listen , listen, listen,  closely ,  all the time, for the Shepherd's Voice !   HE TALKS WITH US in spirit, of course/  in our hearts and minds and souls perhaps,  but mainly always in spirit.  In any case,  we know HIS VOICE as HE SAYS.

Those who think it is okay to change His Word, who change His Word daily, and teach others so,  do not know His Voice, and do not speak for Him either.   They are not in Harmony with YHVH'S WORD, nor with YHVH'S PLAN, nor with JESUS the Good Shepherd.

Listen daily , all the time,  day and night,  be aware,  be seeking YHVH'S Kingdom ,  listen listen listen,  BECAUSE the Good Shepherd is talking to us DAILY.   HE never leaves His sheep nor abandons us who trust in Him and rely on Him.
