Churches gotta wake up fast .   AND if any does err,  YA GOT to pull them out asap fast .    Our give up approach has got to end ,  the only thing we need to GIVE UP

is the old man ,  oh he is going to try and rise up,   but WHO IS greater the old man , OR CHRIST .  EXACTLY .  CHRIST IS ..............and greater is he in us

than he in the world .    TIME to stop limiting the HOLY ONE of ISRAEL and start RATHER OBEYING the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL , KNOWN AS CHRIST the KING of kings

and LORD of lords .      TIME TO AWAKE TO RIGHTEOUENESS and SIN NOT .

Like a ‘great’ and final awakening as to the dangers we face if we do not? An awakening to the promises that He will keep us from falling? An awakening to the desperate plight of multitude who do not know how to be saved and who need examples to lead them? 

By gosh, our paths are narrowing!

I never brought up Israel, so why are you responding to me? Maybe you can help answer Brakelite's comment to me. I have no clue. If he or you are calling Israel the Church...count me out.

Just thought I could help with that.  Israel is not the church.  But in scripture Israel is often used as a metaphor or allegory for the church.

I wouldn't count on Google to be an authority on the name(s) of God.  Gosh is not a name of God, and nor is golly for that matter.

So how do you explain the Hebrews verse above in Hebrews 12:10.    Why would the Lord chasten a man who does not sin ??.

Look, the Bible does not condone sin, but admonishes us to pursue a life according to the scriptures.  If the Lord wanted us to be free of sin immediately, then when you accepted his free gift that would have been a supernatural power working within us that we would not touch sin at all, not even slip, as God there is no room for error as he alone is perfect.  With man, we still have this flesh with us, though in spirit it is dead, but physically it is still here.   Until we are gone home, there will be testings and trials and since we are not yet perfected, who knows when a believer can stumble.  A believer who reads and listens to the word, would grow and mature in the things of God.
