Tehre is a tunnel, that leads from inside the city walls to a distance outside the walls... this was dug many many many mooons ago. it was to be used to supply water and such to the city if the city was under siege and no one was able to leave thru the normal gates and such.....

several years ago, i ran across an article that said that the Ark was laid to rest in one of the side tunnesl, and sealed up...... it said in this article that the area that the Ark rested in was under the hill of the skull....

it also said that it had been found by one man, and that this section was full of rocks that had been placed there ( to hinder people from going further, i spose).

when this man took a break and came back at a later time, that these rocks had been cleared out and there was a being that was not human  there which gave him instructions about the care or handling of it.  other people tried to move it and they were struck dead.  in this section of tunnel, there was also some of the other items that belong in the temple and the Holy of Holies..... supposidly this man that located it was part of the decendants of the priesthood, and he was able to examine the Ark.

upon examination, he found a substance on one side of it, and examinied it and took a sample of it for testing... the substance was found to be blood.  Ithis mans instructions were that the Ark was not to be moved at that time. this man noticed that there was a crack in the ceiling.  and there was also this substance there, and it also was blood, matching the same as what was on the ark..... taking rough measurements, he went outside, to above ground, and laying the measurements out he found that there was also a crack outside on the Hill of Skulls.... and as he examined it,  it looked as thou the ground had opened up and then closed up...

I kind of wish I still had the article, for the way it was written up, it was written almost tooo good..... detail was good, like i said, almost too good.

we do have to be careful about what we get sucked into.

if the Ark is infact still in tact, great, my faith is not bound to whether or not it is. I have seen things happen that i do not need the Ark, i have had things revealed so that I do not need to see anything to know that God is the God over all things, that Christ is the true Son of God and that the Holy Spirit comes and does work thru us, and in us and around us.....

would I spend a thousand dollars to travel to see the Ark, should it be unveiled?

no,  I would not need to.  nor would I want to.  it is fun to talk about, and to watch others run to and fro, chasing after something over here, or over there, it is fun to see the Bible come to life before my eyes as I see things happening.  it is fun watching the Lord do things and people are so puzzled about how could that happen.....

I saw that article and had reasons to doubt its truthfulness.

while I can't tell you where it is right now, I do know where it will be before long>>>>

Gen 1:1 - Rev 11:19

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,"The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,

17 saying:

"We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,And those who fear Your name, small and great,And should destroy those who destroy the earth."

19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Although it is rather exciting watching all this going on....I totally agree on that.

But:

The Ark could be anywhere!!!

Do we know it still exists, intact?

Does God need the Ark of the Covenant any more? Doesnt He reside in us now, not on the Mercy Seat?

Or am I incorrect in this. I am tired, so this may not be a sensible thought.

Wow, I read this post just now and that was the thing I thought of but my dogs were slightly rowdy so I did not post it.

Yeah ya hit the nail right on the head Jade.

We do not need the ark of the covenant anymore.

We have the Comforter.

Amen Sis !!.

:) Good one, Gerioke!

****************************

OK - three questions for consideration:

1) The article states permission was granted by a Kabbalist. What's that about?

2) Ezekiel had a vision of God's glory leaving the Temple. But what of the Ark? Did God's glory ever leave the Ark? If so, when? And why wasn't it recorded in Scripture? Or what will happen if God's glory is still manifested on the ARk?

3) If the Ark is found, will it provide convincing evidence for anyone that what is written in the Old Testament is true?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
