It shows why we so desperately need (and have) an electoral college. Notice that almost all of the red areas are pretty much flat. And if the blue columns had their way, those red areas would be flattened. People don't elect presidents, states do..... and each state askes it's people who to vote for..... it was decided by all the original States that they did not want the larger states to force them into thigs that was not good for the small state.... if it was not decided that way we would never have formed a Federal Government. We would just be 50 little countries... and we do not want to return to that kind of situation..... the smaller states should not allow that to happen.
