I wonder Melinda12 if got answer. I think might have left you with more. Which could be good thing. I give you this. We here live in this bubble of time and space. There is none where the Father is. We also know Satan is a roaring lion seeking whom he may destroy. We also know where our  battle is "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." That battle there.. what happens there so to speak effects us here. Daniel 10 helps us see this. 

We look at Jesus came died rose over 2 thousand years ago. But was it really? Well to God 1 day is a thousand years and a thousand years one day. So when all of heaven rejoiced about Christ coming to set us free. Was just a tad over 2 days ago. You think they stopped rejoicing? We did.

I am though, disturbed about angels being rebellious against God. So many of them too. I imagined heaven to be perfect place, angels to be perfect beings. I do hope it does not turn out to be like here! Then there really would be no hope. 

So not only Lucifer rebelled but loads of other angels went with him. It does show God gives free will to all. That is a very precious gift but it necessarily carries risk. 

 

 

The deep deceit of sin gives it place and substance... however God's Word teaches that it had neither: it was not from God, it is perversion of truth, hell had to be created for the devil and those angels that followed him, it will be eternally separated from God and His children, there is an eternity of past which it was not and eternity of future where it is not.... One must absorb the total reality that sin has no part with Our Righteous God!

Until today Ha-Satan has this access. Only after the rapture of the Church he will lose this access:

• Rev 12:10 -> "And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.".
