I sort of agree with that, but I would modify it to say that they are there because of their sin, and they were not rescued from. Had the had faith, they would have been. God both punishes sin eternally, and provides an eternal rescue from that to some.

compelled to clarify, that it is not knowing about Jesus that is important in the long run. Demons know more about God/Jesus than I do, most likely. The difference is in the relationship, it is intimacy, not awareness, that marks us as God's children. We both bow to him reverently, and come to the throne of grace with confidence, instead of cowering in the realization of our doom!

I cant bring a witch to JESUS through her witchcraft ,    nor can a man bring one to CHRIST through any other book or religion .   JUST PREACH HIM and its just that simple . 

 

It's the most safe way to preach in Gospel only if a conflicts would happen. I didn't talk about anything, I talk about a vision which said that's possible, another vision also told that Quran in the era of the prophet used with Torah in some way because that era was Torah-like era but this era is Gospel-like era. Maybe if it's possible, I think Quran will work like an old testament, we know that the old testament nature is different than Gospel nature.

I heard atheists said the same you said. "Allah" is a proper name in Arabic for the same god of Abraham, we don't have to force Arabs to call God in Hebrew name to be sure that they're calling the same god. God description in Quran like his one in Torah for first Jewish understanding, no one of 'em can expect that God can have a real son literally, Quran is close to Torah in that. Many information you read in internet about Quran are fake.

Muslims believe in a god of violence and those in Iran have sworn to destroy us and Israel.  Some parts of the Koran are not violent and others are extremely so, promoting cutting off heads and disemboweling people who don't obey sharia law.

I just want to issue a warning to us all, about the thread. Once again, we are getting off track from the topic, you know, about other faiths?

It is descending into the  pit we dig about are Christians saved or not, it so which ones and on which basis. We have explained a few opinions of the basis, but if we are going to make it more in house arguing, I am going to close the thread.

Basically then answer to the question is NO, other faiths are not saved. The Jesus of the Bible, the Jesus of history is the key. Not the made up Jesus of non-Christian faiths, not anyone but Jesus.

We Christians seem like bigots to many, because we tell the truth that there is only one way to be saved. So be it, we are not willing to lie to people to make them feel better, we would rather they be offended but let then hear the gospel so that they may come to faith and eternal life. As Jesus, said,

IMHO, I'm of the mind that,no, there will not be other faiths in heaven. It's only this side of Glory that there are divisions between people. When we are in Glory, all that we've known here will be no more, forgotten, we'll all be too busy giving Praise and Honour and Worship to The Lord, just saying, God bless.

I believe this way also.  So, what do you think happens to otherwise kind and decent people who were of other faiths and did not give their lives to Christ?  I believe all sin will be destroyed in hell including sinners who did not accept Christ.  However, I believe that the punishment will fit the crime, and as jesus said "those who committed offenses and did not know will be beaten with few stripes and those who committed offenses and knew to do better will be beaten with many stripes(Luke 12:48).  In other words, there will be varying degrees of punishment in hell.  Some people may only suffer for a few seconds where others may suffer for a few hours or days.  However, in the end all sin and sinners will be destroyed completely in the lake of fire.

We won't preach in Islam here but comments keep coming.
