Exactly. Tbh.when I saw Fox news on something I get skeptical. It's notoriously biased.  If anything it's probably downplaying how bad covid19 is to justify the reopening

In some viruses it isn't people with compromised systems that die.....    it's actually an over active immune system that kills us.....    take the spanish flu for instance, it attacked young and healthy people more than old because when running a high fever didn't kill it our over reactive immune system went crazy and destroyed our own lungs trying to kill out the virus.

Well, the numbers are not mine, the top university antibody tests done suggested these figures, not me ... just connecting the dots. I am down playing it --- because it was up played, exaggerated from the time the models came out and said 1.2 -2 million people were going to die from this! The experts told us that 10x the amount of people would die from this!

Again, the statistics came from university studies, doctors in a lab. I never said it was the flu, but the flu is a virus. I said it is 2-4 times worse than the common flu - which did require a quite different response. If we had just let it go like the Swine Flu, then maybe hundreds of thousands would have died. But it bugs me that they were wrong from the start. It puzzles me when most who get put on regulators, die ... it appears these folks are on their last leg and in most cases it's too late.   It also bugs me that from the beginning they told us that masks were useless, don't bother ... but hospital personnel wear them. Were they trying to discourage us from our panic run on masks so that there would be sufficient amounts for the hospitals? Then weeks later, they changed their position. Maybe if all New Yorkers wore them from the get go, they would have fared well.

I know, but know that when  20 -60,000 people per year die of the flu, their conditions escalate into pneumonia, clots, heart failures, etc., their deaths are not pretty either. 2.3 million die every year. That is the story of life, it ends sometimes, the good news is we go to our Creator. The bad news is some do not believe and for them, well ... God is the judge, He gives life and He takes it away. I've heard that either this virus escaped by accident or it was purposely done (a conspiracy for various reasons: political or a Globalist enactment) - we don't know. As I said, God has allowed this for a purpose and it very well may be to set the stage for the Great Tribulation. Biological warfare is not a surprise, many countries in the world have been experimenting with them for decades. We don't know, maybe Xi Jing Ping didn't like Trumps Trade deals? Who can trust him? I remember we found lead in all these Chinese made toys years ago - nice. Recently my dog was having allergic reactions to a Walmart Chicken Jerky (made in China). I researched the product and read all sorts of horror stories that dogs were dying from these treats - yet they still sell them. I just heard on the radio today, a woman claimed that many frozen food products are from China. I won't buy them ... don't trust. At the end of this, we should consider the country weaning itself off Chinese products altogether -- Ouch, everything is made over there. Well, many are also taking the stance that THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. But Xi Jing Ping said something like "America is lying through their teeth ..." or "We are responsible ..." Sure we went over there, a few miles away from their Virology Lab and planted it, then brought it back here for us to suffer. I don't even think George Soros would be that wicked?

That is the point. People have compromised immune systems because they don't take care of themselves. Heck 40% of Americans are obese. In the last 50 years, the food industry has put 20  times the sugar into processed foods. Excessive sugar intake is a killer. Many years ago they thought fat was the cause of obesity. So they put out products like margarine and low fat this and added hydrogenated fats, etc. Now they know sugar is the killer, the culprit.  Some people think nothing of going to 7 Eleven and buying a thirsty-two ounce soda with their donuts for breakfast and later scarf down some pizza for lunch then wait a few hours to get off work to enjoy Happy Hour to jug down some brewskis while lighting up their smokes too!  Yeah, they don't give a hoot about their health! I would hope most Christians take better care of themselves?

That's how you get a compromised immune system over many, many years and then later on you wonder why?

Wow, that is a diabolical virus. Sounds like Satan was behind that.

I am taking extra care to eat the best freshest high quality food and i take cod liver oil to top up, as well as getting sunshine daily. I don't smoke or drink. I get to bed early, sleep is vital.  I am the right weight for height and i exercise. I agree that the better condition we are in , the better our chances. 

However, i am finding it hard to cope with the anxiety, disruption and loneliness of lockdown. So many are dead. Only in prayer and faith in Jesus Christ am i able to find true comfort and peace.

Good for you! Trying to get my wife to exercise more. Since we've retired, she starts getting into baking, indulging in Yummly Website where all those delicious looking desserts are. I had to tell her NO, STOP. Once in a while is fine but I just can't eat sweets, must restrain myself, otherwise I will be obese. When I was young, I could eat anything and not gain weight. An ice cream sundae everyday, chocolate, and plenty of soda. Once I hit 30, my metabolism slowed down and then I started to gain weight. That is when you need to learn to say no to and limit  certain foods.

Cod live oil is a rich source of Vitamin D - but the taste ... Hope you reunite socially soon and as our lives move on, the anxiety should subside. It's all about a relationship with Jesus. True contentment is having a secure relationship with God, whether  rich or poor, in sickness or in health, but especially at death.

No, only doctors are trained to diagnose and illness and treat the patient with pharmaceutical drugs. But homeopathic doctors and doctors who have studied nutrition in depth, know that foods rich in proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats and limited carbs, along with exercise are essential for good health and good preventative maintenance. This is why I supported my OP with documents, quotes by doctors, etc. You can research yourself the fact that people are obese, unhealthy, vitamin deficient, etc. You can see it everywhere and I think you know why they are. We aren't talking about innocent children born with genetic defects passed down or with weak immune systems for no fault of their own. Maybe their mom didn't breast feed and fed them formula. That alone puts a child at risk. Everyone knows we get antibodies from being breast fed.
