Yes a great wrong has been committed. No question.

However- he was a giant. 6ft 6 inch tall. Criminal history. 46 years old so at the very peak of strength.

Worth thinking about anyone faced with a man of that size and weight with seconds to decide action. Police face severe injury and death anytime.

Nobody should die as he did of course. But context is an essential element. Yes there is a lot of injustice and such wrongs but - this man had once held a gun to a pregnant woman, done time in prison.

Let's have all aspects out in the light of examination. Not paint a onesided picture. That too is dangerous.

You do realize of course he had already been handcuffed and placed in the back of the police vehicle. He was taken out of that security and suffocated to death. When a man is on his face, handcuffs behind his back,  there is simply no excuse. None. To try to spin another narrative is simply wrong.

Yes I find this very very odd. If he was already in the police car. Why would they have pulled him out of it and then lay him on the ground and knee him to the neck until he stops breathing? Something is not right here.

I think something occurred in the vehicle. I think there is far more to this that has not come out. The fact George and the police officer knew one another is a part of this that little light has been shed on.... yet. I hope the full truth comes out. I also hope a guilty verdict is rendered, for if it is not, there will be ten or twenty times the number who will be protesting, and I suspect the military will be used. A constitutional crisis will ensue.

That of course is blatantly wrong. Unnecessary. Using excessive unreasonable force.

The whole picture is required. Every aspect.

I didn't know that. All facts need light shone on them.

Yes, let's do look at the whole picture.

And yes, he did those things you said.  He was a drug addict looking for money and drugs.

There's also testimonial and pictorial evidence that George Floyd was a Christian.  Christians can fall into all kinds of addictions - food, porn, drug, and more.

He was born and raised in a terrible section of Houston and welcomed mission-minded people who worked with young people - telling them that the kids in his neighborhood need the Bible and need God.

As for his being in perfect health - he was not.  He had the corona virus - albeit, he was asymptomatic. He was under the influence of fentanyl and methamphetamines.  He also had heart disease.

So -in total - he had some criminal issues, drug addictions, and was interested in the things of God and was concerned about the young people coming up behind him.

I watched all the videos I could find from all angles.  He was handcuffed before he got out of the car, sat down against a wall, pulled back up, and taken a few blocks to another police vehicle.  What was not seen was him not wanting to get into the police car and dropping to his knees.  That's what the police said - he dropped to the ground.

At no time were the police in any danger.

What was shown was him begging for air and the police officer on his neck saying, "You should have gotten in the car right."  When the ambulance got there, his body was lifeless.  And the officer was still on his neck.  I watched his limp and lifeless body being rolled onto the stretcher beside him.  He was pronounced dead a few minutes later at the hospital.

I don't see him as a martyr the way some do, but I cannot justify this in any way at all.  Nothing he ever did or was warranted what happened.

I find this post has the most information so far.  According to the police reports, it seems that he was never in a police car from the videos Jayne viewed.  I highlighted the information.

I am sure more information will come out in the trials.

It is reported here in my country that the police officer knealt on his neck for 8-9 minutes.

Think about that. Even though he was unconscious, the police officer continued to kneel on his neck until he was dead.

I’m waiting for the trial. Police are affected by fear and adrenaline. You don’t just stop as soon as a person is subdued, you stop when you feel safe. Only a person in that situation can make that call. If he was a drug addict they have to take extra precaution with him. What is scary are the riots that will occur if he is found not guilty after the facts are looked at. I know there is racism and hatred, but I also know things are not always as they seem.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
