Yes absolutely. I live in horrible pain everyday. I have to live day by day. The pain I live with and the absolute hate that is in the world today makes me not want to be here. Jesus can take me today.

Sorry to hear that what are you suffering from.

My calling and election are made sure. I am "in Christ" and God's Word tells me when I close my eyes here for the final time and breath leaves my physical body I will be with Christ in heaven. I don't fear death. I'm prepared to meet Jesus whether that be today or 50 years from now. Whether by Corona or any other event/illness.

There are countless number of tombstones all over the world since the ancient times.

People die everyday of many causes, young and old.

But the way they live their lives will proof whether they have the courage to face death on their death bed.

Many people when they are healthy and wealthy say they dont fear death, but its a totally different situation on the death bed, let me just ask you while we can still ask and answer, Are you prepared to die by Corona or whatever on your death bed ? What is your reason ?

Shalom,

Jno 11:25-26

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life.  He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Beleivest thou this?

1 Cor 15:51-

Behold, I show you a mystery.  We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Jno 14:1-3

Let not your heart be troubled.  Ye beleive in God, beleive also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions.  If it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.

1 Cor 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them which love him.

Rev 22:20

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so come Lord Jesus.

There is no reason to fear death, nor is there reason to court it.  While we live in the flesh we have God's work to do.  He chooses the work, the time of it's completion, and the manner of it's completion.  And then we will rest with him in an incorruptible eternity.  Christians are at their best in this world as they actively do God's work in this world, with an unfailing eye on the world to come.

Thanks for posting this. I have a lingering sin in my life that needs to go, but besides that, I am ready to die.

I used to fear death until my son faced it at about a week old(he is healthy now). Now I fear the death of loved ones and how I would live without them.

Sorry i dont understand what you mean ?

I'm sorry! I jut mean that no matter how I die, as a Christian, death has no sting, not victory, so just cannot be anxious about such a trivial matter. My job, is to be more concerned about how live. How and when I die, is not a big concern. If I could choose, I think going out as a martyr, would be the best way, but I admit, I am not trying to do that!

Death is just another door so to speak. Not trying to give the classic answer but its truth. I don't think about death. This body will sleep but I won't die. How will I LIVE this next moment for myself or for Him. Songs always come to mind. "do you see do you see all the people sinking down.. don't you care don't you care are you going to let the drown?".  And "will I leave a trace of JESUS behind"

ONLY ONLY because you asked.. I never share this. I after what I share was told it looked like I had a massive heart attack. And that was by more then one. And no I didn't go to the hospital. OOOH I remember haha that moment very well. Never had so much pain in my chest. What was COOL Sound bad but.. in so much pain.. what was COOL was it was in my chest.. it was as if someone pushed it into my back.. oh man so much pain.. then pushed back into my chest. I prayed against it.. in that moment as my GOD will tell anyone I always praise Him thank Him.. rebuke.. bleed the blood of Jesus. I know His word. I KNOW He is alive. I know I sin... I know the enemy can attack.. but.. I KNOW HIS WORD! I am 59 and He has never once failed me.. if I can not walk hand in hand with Him in the worst of times I can not in the best of times. AGAIN NOT TO BOAST! When my baby was 4..short story.. ambulance opens the door "he is not responding to anything".  My wife sitting in the front seat.. (wow still makes me cry) not a sign of life in her.. you know  what I mean. I just turned and said "Father I will never blame you". No lie.. right after I said that.. the door opens "HES RESPONDING". Chopper came.. took them to the hospital.

So no.. I don't think about those times.  I don't know many are ready. Well you never know when they will come..unless your prayed up. walking by faith day in day out. Always think about Him.. praying always praying about EVERYTHING you do say

I like what NF said in one of his songs.

"It's easy to blame God but harder to fix things
We look in the sky like, "why ain't You listening?"
Watching the news in our living rooms on the big screens
And talking 'bout "if God's really real, then where is He?"
You see the same God that you saying might not even exist
Becomes real to us, but only when we dying in bed
When ya healthy it's like, we don't really care for Him then
Leave me alone God, I'll call you when I need you again
Which is funny, everyone will sleep in the pews
Then blame God for our problems like He sleeping on you
We turn our backs on Him, what do you expect Him to do?
It's hard to answer prayers when nobody's praying to you
I look around at this world we walk on
It's a smack in the face, don't ever tell me there's no God
And if there isn't then what are we here for?
And what are y'all doing down there? I don't know Lord"

If you really believe "Absent in the body is present with the lord " , then therein lies the answer.

2 Corinthians 5 King James Version (KJV)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
