The power to rule is granted by the majority of the uninformed. The informed right and the informed left know where they stand and will not likely change that stance, they are like two shores containing a vast sea of people who are not informed,  frankly ignorant and easily swayed people who right now think they are doing the right thing by caring about peoples various desires. The left has become quite adept at manipulating these people with lies, but the only stronger power is the truth...and I have hope that as the lies begin to collapse, the truth will prevail.

Yup---I have a theory and I call it the 'rubber band affect'...as it relates to your post's subject.

Coming along with trust in God is peace that He will guide us through even the most difficult times all the while right by our side.

When it comes to the internet and this whole connected business, we can all surely do without it. Yes, I'm communicating to you using the web as a medium right now. It would be something I would miss for awhile if I stopped it but remember people have done just fine without it for thousands of years.

If that day ever comes that using the web becomes more of a hassle than beneficial I'll stop using it just like I stopped using Facebook. I haven't missed Facebook one bit. Probably the most scary thing is how so many of us have developed a dependency on it. We feel like it's something we now need, something we can't do without.

If the state eventually uses the web to track me down and stop my income or worse because I am a political enemy of some kind, I'm not going to fret over it. Let em' come and get me. If that happens God will guide me to my ultimate place of peace and safety in His arms. We all have to die in between being here and going to be with the Lord or the other place if we don't accept Him as Savior.. No exceptions there. What would I fight for? The presumed benefit of living here and participating in their corrupt system? What benefit is that?  If God wants to feed me He will see to it I have something to eat. If I die at the hands of the enemy then it was God's will to bring me into His eternal kingdom this way. Either way I win.

 

I definitely see your point and agree with you. However; we are about to become totally dependent on the internet, computers and electronics to survive, much less thrive.

Try surviving without a bank account. Even to receive welfare, you now have to have a bank account to deposit the X's and 0's. This holds true for most social security, federal retirement pensions, tax refunds much faster, and ordinary payroll checks. 

Ninety-eight percent of all global financial transactions are done electronically now. Cash and checks have become an outdated relic of snail mail history. 

More and more people are buying online now, another launch pad was this Covid thing. I'm seeing so many Walmart employees these days walking around with shopping carts and selectively filling them up. You know what that is all about. 

I was a recipient indirectly of a government grant. The federal government has pumped tens of billions of dollars into all 50 states. So that every home in America gets connected to the internet. 

I live so far in the country, sunshine is reflected in [well almost]. Through a government grant, I got high speed fiberoptic cable installed. Just from the connection at the road, they buried the line and ran it over 200 yards to my house. Wired, installed all the equipment [modem & wifi] and set everything up. Gave me three free months to try it out. Total bill; $000.00. I will spare you with what 5G is and will do, that is close to completion. 

The point I'm making, that is here. No one will be able to survive and live a normal life; having a job, owning a home, buying a car, paying taxes, escrow accounts or have employment; unless you're connected into the system.

Good looking female Property tax person: Hello handsome, wow, what a stud. Didn't you get our postcard in the mail? That we now only accept digital bank transfers as payment now?

Dennis: Yes I did, and I don't like it and will not comply.

Good looking female Property tax person: Aw shucks there good looking, that's too bad, would you like to talk to my supervisor, and see how far you get before we foreclose on your property for delinquent taxes? By the way 69 years old muscle man, are you married?

LoL what a deranged sense of humor my wife tells me I have. But not if, but when this occurs, then what. How does one disconnect entirely from the system and survive. Where does one run to that someone doesn't already own? It's either government or private property. If you can't pay your taxes, the way the set up and demand, then what???

Howdy Alive,

I have my own theory also, things from here on out, will wax worse and worse, with the culmination of the arrival of the Tribulation. 

I truly believe the Lord gave America a short reprieve [a Nineveh moment if you will], for four years during the Trump administration, to repent and change our ways. But, that's just an opinion and the way I view things. 

If I (and we) are still here in the next few years; I imagine and expect we will witness even more radical evil changes, from where we are today? Come Lord Jesus come!

Naturally I have my thoughts and speculations on that one too 

How did you arrive at that number?

That has not happened yet, but we know when it does according to the book of Revelation. 

Revelation 13:14 (KJV) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

We notice that this image of the Beast is technology, made and manufactured by man. I suspect artificial intelligence will be part of the image of the Beast. Related; have you noticed in the Bible, where the Lord commanded genocide of every man; woman; child; beast; possession and thing, against a people? Told not to take so much as one thing? Why would a loving, compassionate, merciful God command that of His servants?  

I will not go into the history or detail of who these "people" were, other than ask; were these tribes and people 100% human, as designed by God's original creation?

The Bible makes it clear, that daemon's, the lowest rung of the fallen heavenly host, can posses humans and animals. What about possessing artificial intelligence, objects, things? 

I believe Satan himself is going to indwell the Antichrist and declare himself god. What about the rest of his minions who receive his "mark", will they be indwelled also by the fallen heavenly host kicked out of heaven? With that mark of the Beast, will they be like Nimrod; and he became?

Just some thoughts to chew on eating our corn flakes.

I was in a discussion on a political site and, well, I answered the question here. I', Cuban Leaf and it's post number 12. I've been posting there since 1997 (previous name was changed in 2011).

It has never been more obvious that we are in the last days. And this has been ramping up exponentially as a hyperbolic curve in just the last 60 years. And the challenges we are facing from the humanists are not an American phenomenon. This is absolutely international. The whole world is in this mess and it will pop fairly soon.

Just musing for a second: I wonder what the 2022 election cycle and election results will bring in the US. Hmmm...
